I'm glad someone mentioned Hattie...um what happened to her did she get the older brother on Happy Days treatment? I mean Ron Howard WAS on that show..just sayin' I love Joel I think he has to be my favorite character, and even I don't really get his sudden identity crisis. I mean Julia is a crappy wife, but that shouldn't be something new to Joel. It seems to me Julia has always been like that. She is very spoiled. I also see Joel having some attraction to Pete so I think Joel has some weird quirk where he is actually attracted to bossy, in charge women. I think maybe he is in denial and the real reason he just can't with Julia anymore is she basically fell apart and became a ball of need with no drive that really turned him off. I get his upset at her handling the trasition of power poorly, because lets face it if Joel were a woman and Julia the man no one would fault the woman for leaving the man acting like that. It is also very realistic that the stress of adopting a special needs older trama child can and does cause divorces. I think Joel is trying his best to still be a dad and support the kids while doing what he has to do for himself. I can't jump on the Joel is bad bandwagon. When a camel is carrying a whole load of straws no one knows what the last straw will be. I've always seen Joel put up with A LOT from Julia. I love Crosby and Zek together they are so alike I just love them and Zek's old man sweater was so precious. I like how much Crosby has grown up over the years, yet STILL bought that POS motorcycle. So Crosby. I used to enjoy Cristina and Adam but the Max overload is eating the show. ugh I like Drew and Amber, but it is sad that they are STILL raising themselves. Does Sarah have an clue what is going on with them? Hank was cute in small doses but now just please move that story along.

So much THIS. I mean Aunt Jenna was a terrible guardian and openly admitted it often and she was late 20s at least. I don't see Elena being worse guardian to Jer than she was to Elena back in the day, I mean Elena was hookin' up with a vampire and Aunt Jenna was clueless. One reason I like Delena is that it is soooo something a young adult girl who lost all her family would do. I mean her life is shit so screw being the "good little girl". I love Damon but I think one reason everyone lets him slide when he tries to kill Jer including Jer himself is b/c Damon OWNS that he is a vampire, they are NOT cuddley little kittens if you are going to hang with a vampire and you aren't one, then death is pretty much a constant threat, I think Jer gets this, Elena maybe no so much.

First Liv 1985 called....they want their hair back, I think she keeps her Grimoire in that mess. Enzo you ROCK! keep him please Caroline you SUCK! I'm sorry but I can't help it, I LIKED the episode overall. I mean not like this season has much to compete for greatness with, these last two episodes were much better, though I agree a little too compartmentalized. I will confess I love Damon and like him and Elena so there is that. Jermey should be close to 18 so I love that he is showing some sack and taking control of his life. I think he, Tyler and Puddin' Pop as roomies is awesome and so bang on. Just what he should be doing to progress in growing up. And as someone else said, just get a GED and ditch high school. Sorry did I missed something, WTH when did he become a Hunter AGAIN? I thought that died with Silas? If Damon and Elena are co-dependent then so are Stefan and Caroline. I can't stand Caroline never could she was a bad human and a bad vampire. How can one person grow from bad person as a person to a good person as a vampire? When she was trying to kill DoppleTom she looked like she was going to strangle him first, sorry but hand to the chest was in order, she can't even halfheartedly try? Don't get me wrong I don't mind the friend chemistry with Stefan and Caroline, but they so BS each other about which one is the best bestest best ever good person. RME news flash you are VAMPIRES not people and neither of you are good. I'm glad the hoard of singing Travelers morfed into Marcus b/c that could not go on much longer, but I'm now interested in this bringing several stories together, with Jermey, Bonnie, Tyler, Puddin' Pop, and I'm Gay so Gay Luke into the story with Caroline and Stefan. I'm interested in this story. And while a little over to top I like delena so that stuff was good for me and I thought showed a little movement at the end even if it ate a little too much show. It seems clear Damon and Elena love each other, but don't know if they can make it work. I always thought stelena was puppish high school love and delena is somewhat realistic of more adult messy early adult love. YMMV

I think the problem is how everyone else treats her more than Elena herself. She IS a vampire now, I expect her to change. I mean Damon was a different person when he was ...well a person than he is now as a 150 y/o vampire. I'd expect Elena AND Caroline to change that is why I can't stand Caroline b/c I call BS on her. When Stefan is true to who he really wants to be he isn't some noble vampire either he has to FORCE himself to be good. blah I think one reason Elena loves Damon so much and has for a while is b/c she under it all wishes she could just let go and be like him but it is everyone else's expectations to be good "special snowflake" Elena that keep her so hypocritical wishy washy yes no...blah. But I do agree at this point the back and forth is tedious.

I have to chime in and agree. I mean really they are vampires and I always loved how he would be real about "good" Stefan being a "delusional wagon" I could not agree more! They are by nature evil killers without remorse. I flove that he OWNS it! And OMG he is a beautiful hunk of....MEOW!
