  1. Well said. Double like.
  2. Jessa is going to be flat on her back from the 28th to the first to try and keep that baby in until after the 31st. Jill will be skyping ways to not go into labor.
  3. Warm & fuzzy thoughts for you Skittl1321.
  4. Oh shit, I think that Bambam is gonna fall out, Jessa has her hands over her belly.
  5. Oh golly. And to think of how many women have managed early pregnancy all on their own.
  6. Yup, I agree. The get out of hell free card seems to be the only card the Duggars have in their deck.
  7. It occurred to me, when I was thinking how crazy I'd be, first having my little sister and her friend living with my family for a month, and then soon after having my MIL moving in, that Jill & Derick have lived alone for maybe a year during their less than 2 year marriage. As Absolom mentioned in another thread the Duggars do have a problem with launching their kids into adulthood.
  8. Mr Paine appears to be Chad's father and Erin's FIL.
  9. That article is so silly. And if she talked at 17? What could her parents do? Not much. Send her to Journey of the Heart? It's not like the could have her committed. They couldn't even hide her away, they are so public. A minor who spilled any beans would actually get more support from social services. Silly article.
  10. We know a little; She expressed that she "used the bible to raise her boys" and that "cancer is the devil's work".
  11. Sounds glorious. Have a great time.
  12. Have fun! And where do you live? In 8 hours it will be 2:30 am where I am.
  13. Yup, that same breastfeeding, baby-food-making mommy might be sitting at home with a bottle fed, spaghetti-o fed kid if there was no social media to brag on.
  14. Well then, that makes me right!!!!! :)
  15. Sink hole?!! Scary!!!!!
  16. I doubt the Duggars even know that make-up products are even tested - period.
  17. Can I be right too?
  18. First, I love the line that I bolded! And I agree that is does border on emotional abuse. I'm not sure I agree on sexual abuse, but it sure could screw up a kid's adult sex life.
  19. Oh my. It's my guess that most fathers have NO thoughts of their daughters vaginas once their girls are potty trained, and hymens, uhm never. And why is the purity stuff always committed to the father? Mothers don't care?!? It is just a weird level of intimacy to me that feels, I don't know, kind of wrong.
  20. I don't really have any weird mom stories other than I could pretty much do whatever I want. I always chalked it up to being the youngest of 4 kids. In later years my mom told me that I was "born with common sense". I think her leniency was probably due to her being burnt out on child rearing, returning to work, and the fact that even when I was younger I did usually think before I acted. I do remember walking up to the mom & pop pharmacy/convenience store to by the book The Exorcist, when I was around 10 years old. The clerk there wouldn't allow me to purchase it. When I got home and told my mom she sent my older brother up the street to buy it for me.
  21. HUgs to you Joe. I'm a New Englander too. I dislike the extreme cold and any snow storm nearing a foot. But what I hate the most is how early it gets dark.
  22. Chipped beef on toast. Nuff said.
  23. Thanks Loves2dance, And no worries, it has been a few years now. Our new house feels more like a home than a house now. We had raised our babies in the house that the storm took - we had lived there nearly 25 years. When you lose everything material things mean less. So I think Christmas bugs me because of the commercialism, combined with nostalgia. ETA: I can't find the post where burlsa mentioned having a medical procedure. Warm & fuzzies!
