  1. In the last few years I only remember a few HT appearances. (As a new viewer, they stood out.) Once was a drive-by thing where she had a scene with Eric and then maybe one later on with Aly? Was that when Aly was seeing floating head Darla? I might be imagining that last one. :-)
  2. PF is a good actor - it might have been easier to walk back rape night if he hadn't been such an effective creeper. LG was pretty good too, the horror of waking up with Thomas there, the confusion, the pain... Just to clarify, it wasn't rape night that ruined Caroline for me, but the writers walking it back. Whether or not someone saw rape (in scenes where Caroline was too drunk/out of it to say no, or even know that it was Thomas with her by then), to make the character backtrack and then want a relationship with him left a really bad impression. I stopped watching after that for quite a while. I just couldn't. ETA: as for the "why walk rape night back", the Forrester son/grandson does have to be a romantic lead, right? Honestly though, if it hadn't been for Sasha, I'd still be FF'ing everything Thomas related.
  3. Especially after weeks of Thomas getting in her personal space, dropping hints of how attracted he was to her, having fantasies of locking the door on her and seducing her, while Caroline was oblivious most of the time. "Misunderstanding Night" was rape night to me but eye of the beholder I guess, because it ended up being pretty divisive here at the time. The whole situation ruined Caroline as a character for me.
  4. Oh, I hope it isn't Ivy. It's just that it doesn't make sense for Sheila to terrorize Quinn or set up Katie unless someone else is pulling the strings. In Ivy's case, she might think she's protecting Eric in the long run. And anyone using Sheila could think that her history would give them extra cover. Who would look for any more motive than crazy?
  5. @Cupid Stunt, I think you win. :-) Not sure what could top that!
  6. Sheila being in Katie's house implies that she is trying to set her up but what would Sheila gain from that? I guess it might still be Ivy, hiring Sheila to terrorize Quinn and not caring that Katie would take the blame after the way she's acted the last few months.
  7. One of the issues that some people have with Quinn is that the writers strongly implied that she murdered Mr. Montameyor (?) for that diamond. They never resolved it, just let it drop.
  8. I have been watching Port Charles on YT lately and it's weird seeing KB and TK from 17 years ago. I'd actually forgotten that Rachel = Sheila. She did get typecast. I'm okay with Sheila if it's just for the summer. Hopefully they will use her to move some pieces around, like they did with Spectra 2.0/Thomas. I don't suppose she could have switched any babies back in the day? Maybe Rick? (Yeah, just wishful thinking...)
  9. KB looks pretty good compared to some other actresses but I don't think we need extra crazy, since there's already enough on the canvas. Other than that, not much I can say except now there's even less screen time for Ivy or other characters I actually care about.
  10. If Aly was the shooter, that would be a great twist. Then she could get help, join Spectra and be a general PITA for Steffy. It wouldn't hurt Steffy to feel a little guilt about using a tire iron on her cousin (even if it was self defense).
  11. I thought the spoiler character was dead. Not that it matters on a soap but...
  12. I hate the idea that Ivy took that shot but it could explain a few things... though as mentioned above, it's a sucky waste of a Forrester female. OTOH, it is slightly intriguing. If they don't kill her off. After Aly, I honestly don't want to watch that. Actually, Ivy and Quinn facing off might be cool. They are the same (intelligence, looks, talented jewelry designers) in so many ways. I liked their (odd) friendship though and would be sad to see that disappear. Quinn needs at least one friendly face who isn't her son.
  13. As soon as they figure it out, they'll tell us and by that point no one will care. I believe I will get started early this time.
  14. They've given HT a few scenes where Katie seems normal for a few minutes and then it's back to deranged. It's probably a good thing because deranged isn't all that far off the way she's been written for the last few years. I'm trying to think of what I like about this story and I can only come up with 2 things. TK actually looks awake here and there and Quinn hasn't regressed to her old ways yet. But I kind of miss the old Quinn who was with Deacon. Strong, determined and slightly crazy. I would have liked to see that Quinn get less crazy and take on new things. Damsel in distress does not suit either the character or the actress. The vulnerability with Eric is one thing but old Quinn would have not taken this crap from Katie or run trembling into Ridge's arms. Blech.
  15. I watched yesterday's show and was wondering if that was meant to be a Friday cliffhanger? Are we out of whack scheduling-wise? Katie spinning out of control is a little more interesting than Quinn reverting to her old self but holy cow, she needs to find a man of her own. (I bet LDG has a cousin or something.) Doesn't anyone on this show ever use match.com or eHarmony or whatever single people use these days? In the real world, Rick and Maya would just offer to pay for a high priced specialist or a surrogate if it came to that so I can't get too excited yet. But oddly, I'm enjoying Rick more than I have in the last few years. I hope he stays the voice of reason.
  16. @APSimpson, welcome aboard. This is a great group, even those weeks (and months) that I delete B&B unwatched from my dvr I always check in here to see what everyone is saying about it. Your friends must love that you see the best in people. I will have to respectfully disagree about Katie and Eric though. This is not a couple that should ever happen, imo. Katie is bored and mean-spirited, despite having everything someone could want. If she broke up Quinn and Eric, she'd destroy that marriage for nothing because she isn't in it for Eric but for spite. I do love HT and used to like Katie but not this off the rails Katie. ETA: if Katie was smart she'd just back off and let Quinn and Ridge do the work for her. She could just pick up the pieces... (still, yuck with Katie/Eric, the man who married both her sisters, was her mother's boyfriend in college and is almost old enough to be her grandfather.)
  17. Okay then.... (some people called this - not sure how I feel about it though) http://www.welovesoaps.net/2017/06/the-bold-and-beautiful-spoilers-june-5.html
  18. CaRidge worked for me because it wasn't planned, both of them fought it and because Rick and Maya were the worst. There's no denying that TK/RS have something but it isn't pulling me in. I just see Quinn getting used again by a guy with an agenda and being tormented by Katie instead of her own conscience. And about to lose the best thing that ever happened to her - and for what?
  19. Me too. It's too bad that Brooke needed a love interest who wasn't Ridge because I really liked Katie and Bill.
  20. This I don't get. Now I think JMcC is amazing but he's a dozen years older than I am and um... no. So why does Katie want Eric? She doesn't need the money. I'm not sure why she'd want an old(er) man who was into her mom (yuck) and actually married BOTH of her older sisters. Good Lord... I can take back from the dead, unknown kids (whose timelines don't work), babies despite vasectomies and even aliens, weather machines and cities underground (ABC soap history there, sorry) but this just makes me wish I didn't watch soaps. I do kind of feel like a hypocrite because I was totally hooked on the CaRidge story. And maybe if Katie really fell for Eric I might be able to overlook the incestuous aspect and the age difference but that isn't what we have here. Is Katie really that f*cked up? ETA: is this all because of Ridge/Quinn? When I started watching, Ridge and Katie were just about done for so I'm not sure why Katie would care but that's the only thing that makes any sense. Except none of this story makes any sense.
  21. My husband watches Westerns (not my thing) and I've caught glimpses of Phil Carey in several of them. Including an episode of The Virginian a few days ago. (I've seen Jeanne Cooper in quite a few too, as well as MacDonald Carey, Frances Reid, Chris Robinson, Susan Oliver and Susan Seaforth to name some other soap actors.)
  22. Aww... the clip of Asa and Starr was perfect for both characters.
  23. I really expected a Katie & Liam hookup - the whole charitable foundation/divorce settlement seemed primed to go there. Wyatt/Katie don't seem to have any chemistry in my opinion but mileage does vary...
  24. Wyatt couldn't get together with Sasha until Liam had a chance with her first. I think it's in SC's contract...
  25. At least Sasha isn't dead. Off-screen is fine. I don't want Sasha back until Zende is safely settled in at Forrester International.
