Meredith is a crypto cat lady. She just has a pile of people on her bed instead of cats.

So, did the indian psychiatrist sneak into the hospital? He's obviously not pretty enough to work there.

110 percent?

I was wrong. After last episode i expressed amazement that anyone, let alone Cyrus, was getting punished for their crimes. But, nope that was a fakeout. Speaking of which, as soon as Cy woke up in a clean hospital, i wondered if this was a dream sequence. And when his fake husband was there, i went to about 60% certainty. Liv made it 90% and the swearing in, with everyone looking on in approval made it 95%. I actually started to waver when he got to the Whitehouse because it seemed that it was going on too long, but when Melly started talking about the decor, i knew he was waking up.

Cool. -
Wait-- someone is getting punished for their crimes? In Shonda's America?

I really love Mini Bob Newhart.

As in break someone's leg with a sledgehammer during interrogation?

Things would be so much simpler if they'd just add a "Designated Traitor" entry to the CTU organizational shot. Also, i call unfair. It's long past Chloe's turn to be head of the unit.

Someone please tell me that this season will not have Olivia bringing Rowan into the the Stop Cyrus coalition.

That's a Yes or No question and the answer is Shonda.

good point. The previous episode, with just a small fraction of the cast in the main storyline, was much better.

Where in the world is Alex? I checked the Big House, the Caboose, the Gulag, the Graybar Hotel, the Hoosegow, and the Stir. But nope, he's back in the nest, safe and sound. What happened to the horrible sentence he was facing? It's ok, Shonda commuted it. Still, he'll probably do some community service as in house doc on the ferry, or something equally low stress. And after that, everything's back to normal. Why bother putting him in that situation if there wasn't going to be any follow through? Because that's how things work at Grey Sloan Shepherd Seattle Mercy Memorial Sex Closet.

Heh, Pink Floyd. I actually don't have a problem with the batteries. I assume he got Ev to make some, though presumably they would be like Volta's original "piles" and wouldn't last very long. What i find a little difficult is that the sport walkman is still bright yellow and the casette tape hasn't stretched at all.

I'd dye my hair, change my clothes, fill a bag with bottled water, granola bars, and reading material, then head to a random city, where i'd buy a burner phone and hole up in a cheap motel for several days. After that, i'd draw my $100, head for the bus station, and repeat. I'm pretty sure that that would be enough to stymie anyone who couldn't make use of an all points bulletin. However. This concept has a long history in science fiction. And in most of those stories, the audience is part of the game, calling in tips for the hunters or warnings for the fugitives. That would make this show more interesting.

Considering the ending montage of H&W working cases, it looks like the end to me. But we'll see.

Outside of canon, the novel "The Private Life of Dr. Watson", makes just that claim. Among other things, on a long voyage, Watson resolves to "collect continents".

As others have said, this episode manages to keep the overall theme of the canon story it references in the title. But beyond that, i was definitely getting a Phillip K Dick vibe, (especially Ubik), and frankly was left a little uncertain that we'd actually returned to the ground level reality at the end.

A picky point: "taboo" is a polynesian word that only became known in english after 1775. In this show's setting, about 40 years later, i doubt it would have spread enough yet to be known in North America or british possessions in Africa. There are plenty of other words that could have been used for the title such as: Forbidden, Unnatural, Anathema, or Depraved.

Strictly speaking, Benedict Arnold did not betray his country. He started to, but reconsidered. Now George Washington-- there's a man who betrayed his country.

My vision for the premiere of Season 2: A montage. A machine makes a skeleton. Muscles and tendons are added. The body is placed in a Da Vinci frame. The frame is dunked in the milk bath. The body is on a table being draped in skin. Technicians are shown working, obscuring most of the body. Closeups of work on fingers, lips, eyes. A rack of clothes is brought in. A meeting room. A figure wearing the clothes we saw earlier is seated at the head of the table, back to the camera. The room is otherwise empty. A door opens. Bernard enters. Bernard: So, congratulations on being made board chair. Camera switches to his viewpoint. He's talking to Charlotte. Charlotte: Thank you. And thanks for agreeing to join the board. Bernard: I'm just glad to be in a position to help out. I expect this will be a very productive meeting. Doors open as other people enter the room.

Dang it, Agent Hannah, don't you watch tv? If you tell someone you have vital information but won't give it over the phone, you've placed yourself in deadly peril. If you try to drive somewhere with said information, you're likely to get t-boned. Personally, i was hoping they would pull a shocker and *not* t-bone her.

When i saw the phrase "mainland infiltration" i took that as figurative. I don't believe WW is literally on an island, not with the landscape it has. But it is isolated enough to use the term "mainland". I still think it's a real chunk of the West. Failing that, well maybe it's a space station.
