Why isn't Alternate Huck with his family?
-
Poor fuzzy chick doctor. His bit here just emphasizes how small his part has been since his arrival.

I figured it would turn out there wouldn't be a mole, or else it would be someone lower in the cast ranking who turned out to have more access than anyone suspected. I did, however, think it would be cool if it turned out to be Abby for about half a second. So i was still surprised when it was her.

Martha!

Except of course, there's still at least one more level above them in their SSC (Shadowy Secretive Cabal).

Ok, i'm just going to jot some things down as i watch this episode. 1. Rowan Pope gets a package. He does not treat it as a possible bomb. I don't care how much he expected it, the caliber of his enemies requires a great deal more caution than he's shown. I think the writers flubbed this. 2. Rowan switches to bubbly science nerd mode. Apparently in addition to being Mycroft Holmes, Machiavelli, John Gotti, and Svengali all rolled into one, there's a good bit of Stephen J Gould in there as well. How does he ever find time for his cover job? 3. Meet Sandra. Rowan has a semi girlfriend from way back, with strong chemistry. Another glitch; the writers seem to have forgotten who he was married to. This woman should have died years ago in a freak accident, possibly by falling on to a triceratops horn. 4. Oh hey, here's Olivia back for more humiliation thinly disguised as advice. What we have here an emotional form of incest. She might as well be moaning, "oh hurt me Daddy!". 5. Oh yeah, "everything you love is a weakness". Maybe that's what's going to happen with Rowan and his globe hopping paleontologist. 6. Oops, play time's over. While acting as lab supervisor for some eager grad students, Rowan lets his guard down so thoroughly he's actually shocked to discover spy cameras. 7. So *now* he checks out his old friend. And her mysterious benefactor. 8. And then goes back into mysterious warning mode, freaking out Olivia without giving her any usable information. 9. I refuse to feel any sympathy for Rowan. I don't want a storyline in which Olivia and crew must ally with him against this new conspiracy. Surprise us Shonda, just shoot him, already! Ok, i kind of like that he met his match but it's really too late. 10. "I've got you." Oh, please, just kill her too, i refuse to take on another source of anxiety. 11. Another Pet and Daddy confrontation. She starts out sure she's won this one, but leaves crying. 12. Yup, Rowan gets Rowaned. 13. No exit plan? Why do people continue to be so loyal to him? 14. Rowan is making something. I have no idea what it is. 15. Wait is he installing a trapdoor under Vargas? No, just a gunport. So why did he send his man out to snipe? 16. Oh, it was in case Rowan couldn't do his own dirty work. Is he showing pangs of conscience. Again, too late for me to care. 17. Ah, he does do his own dirty work, the sniper is just to distract people while he gets away. Almost away, anyway. 18. But how does he expect the bullets from a silenced pistol at short range to pass for long range rifle bullets? 19. Hey, Sandra's safe! So now should be when Rowan springs a trap of his own. But of course, she's not actually safe. I'm half expecting him to kill her himself. 20. Oh. He did. But why didn't he immediately shoot the conspirators? 21. But the conspirators dare him to do the same with Olivia. He concedes. For now. 22. Time to lie and bluster at Olivia while walling away his feelings. I wonder at what point the young dino hunter became a sociopath. No i don't, i refuse to be intrigued over Rowan's backstory.

IN (wait for it) TENSE! So much for this Kiefer vehicle being less suspenseful than 24. So-- the man they were going to make president isn't the main focus of the conspiracy. And his handler doesn't think twice about sacrificing herself to avoid giving away any clues. That means it's not primarily about power and helping some group of super rich people get super richer, this is some kind of religious or ideology based group, a bunch of true believers. But what do they truly believe? Nazis and fundamentalists have been done to death, so i'm guessing it's hmm: neoconfederates.

And why we still won't make a deal to free Jonathan Pollard.

CBS All Access Renews The Good Fight For A Second Season

Or you can get up a petition demanding that your cable service add it to that superduperpooperscooper premium deluxe platinum plan they're always pushing, say, instead of the celebrity all-star shuffleboard channel. -
I also think that Stan's girlfriend is an agent. I also think that she and Phil beeped each others spydar when they met.

Huh. The KGB uses neurolinguistic programming?

I know she gets plenty of screentime already, but i still feel that my favorite starship is being underused. Maybe she can stage a coup against Terrence and take over the institute.

Simple explanation: Wells didn't invent the time machine. He was given the information by some faction far in the future that's fighting a time war. The Jack capturing neurologist is Redbeard's mother earlier in her own timeline. They are both from a faction that's trying avert something awful coming in our own future, while Vanessa's boyfriend is from a faction that seeks to reshape the timeline to its own liking. Underneath the mask, this show is really Continuum 2.0. And that's fine with me.

S01.E05: Stoppable: Requiem For An Airdate

Loved seeing Elspeth again. But her hair is a bit off from what they had previously. There's a fine line between Ann of Green Gables and Raggedy Ann, and they've crossed it. -
I wonder if we'll ever revisit the technical gulag.
-
If they decide that Kimmy needs sex to keep her on board, they can introduce her to Tuan. Assuming he can avoid muttering "capitalist pig!" in his sleep.
-
I'm not interested in the show, but i am curious to see Wright in a broad shouldered 40s sweater.

Pilot and flight attendant to visit a family that may be under surveillence? Not a good cover, too easy to check.

I remember when EST became known to the general public. I even met a few people who joined. But i hadn't heard anything about it in years until they used it on The Americans.

Lucca should have been the Trump voter. Not because she turns out to be a closet conservative, but because she's a radical. She hates corporate democrats and she hated that the first female president would just more of the same that the boys had always done. So she was for Sanders. And when he didn't get the nomination, she figured the only path to reform is destruction.

The Higher Mind doesn't make me think of Scientology at all, it makes me think of EST.

Sorry the man with the ragged dreadlocks didn't make it, he had the most charisma. In fact, clever as the two winners are, i think the director is going to be the star of the next show. As for the others, i hope they will be able to join the support crew and be able to do live shows under the Mythbusters brand.

Hmm, i just had a thought. Next time Phillip gets shot or is in danger of imminent exposure or some such, give him a hallucination of Martha sadly shaking her head and saying things could have worked out if they had just run off together.

A few more comments: 1. When someone offers a kidney, isn't it sop to check both kidneys to make sure the donor can function with just one left? 2. Please stop messing with the relationships. Arizona and Callie was good, then the writers had to throw in some out of character stress. Leave her alone now. Let's assume that she finds her work fulfilling and that she has an occasional fling offstage that has nothing to do with the hospital. Perhaps she uses some hookup service. Findhr? Seekgrl? Femquestr? There must be something. 3. Bailey needs to put a little nazi back into her work persona. 4. I had completely forgotten about Fuzzy Chick Doctor.
