Any given Sunday is a real phrase. Especially when New York wins 72-3, to where people will forget that Taylor was there /s

And to the surprise of nobody, Europe wins the Ryder Cup. It was probably an attempt from the announcers (or a legit one) to promote the US chances. Those were there, but then prior to Europe clinching, it was a tall task before it was over. Next time, do something on Thursday

According to College Football insider Brett McMurphy, he agrees on both accounts. Georgia should fall, but maybe pump the brakes on Texas in the Top Spot. Brett has Florida State in the top spot. That's followed by Texas at 2 and Georgia at 3. Georgia probably gets epic, recent legacy praise in terms of the votes and stays on top. We'll see. However, no one had an issue bumping Florida State a lot nine years ago when the fear of them being unable to defend their title despite never losing since 2012 was a reality. Which would've been awful in that year but not as much in the BCS Era

I guess the fact that Ohio State missed a field goal at the literal stroke of Midnight is the sign of the year 2023

IMO, Detroit shouldn't have to do much to win the division. Browns might have to, but they've looked the best so far. So nice & refreshing to see something new, despite not being a fan of the teams. Last decade was sort of sad, but whatever. Too bad the Jets didn't get the memo. Week 4 Picks: Jacksonville, Miami, Cleveland, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Tampa, Minnesota, Dallas, San Francisco, Kansas City, Seattle ATS & O/U: Jaguars cover (U), Miami covers (O), Pats cover (U), San Francisco covers (U), Chiefs cover (U), Seattle covers (U)

Week 5 ATS: Texas, Auburn, LSU, TCU, Duke O/U: Over in the Texas & LSU game, under in the Auburn, TCU, and Duke game Forgot to pick PSU earlier, but might've been a great idea

Looks like I would have been better off waiting until the 11th hour, which would have had yours truly forgoing Friday's game. However, it was a Top 25 matchup. I usually avoid Friday since that day is better suited for the High School Game. Even though I was wrong it was a pretty good game. Not a lot of scoring, decent defense, and a correct guess at the under. I'll do my other stuff later in terms of the spread, but will once again pick Colorado to cover. Albeit barely. It's a coin flip. I hope I'm not picking with 95% of the people. 80% is okay. USC will win, I believe (that's who I'm picking). I don't know if they'll cover, but they can. Whatever the O/U is IDK, but I'm going over. Week 5 picks: Clemson, USC, Kentucky, Tulane, Penn State, Texas, Georgia, Michigan, Vandy, LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma, Duke, Tennessee, TCU, Alabama, Arizona, Iowa

A rare Friday gem in the world of College Football features the 3.5-point favored Oregon State hosting Pac-12 champ Utah, with a 43.5 O/U total. I like the under here & Utah winning outright

That outcome isn't surprising at all. Probably expected. This was the speculation when Zach Johnson picked his team. He didn't do a great job with his selections, and so far the results are proving that

I've been fortunate enough to go through life as if Curt Schilling didn't exist. To be more specific, if someone brought up the guys name, and then another person said, "There is no such thing as a Curt Schilling. A Curt Schilling is a make-believe living thing in a world of fiction," I'd believe it. The only unfortunate thing about that is that had it not been for this news, I would have gone through today not even thinking about Curt Schilling being a part of the history of Planet Earth.

I'll go with Detroit winning outright. 45.5 total is nice but I don't see the Lions or Packers getting there in Green Bay. Unlike last week, this week's game is actually interesting. At least on paper. I probably wasn't saying that 4-5 years ago

That is creepy

Happy to see Bruce again, but maybe I need to seek the available help out there for my inability to "resee" that injury once more

For the most part, at least, it's young people

The thing is Jefferson probably isn't going to go on the other side an emulate an NFL version of Kobe or MJ. I think a half handful of plays works as a DB. Too valuable to risk anything. However, if there was major WR depth, then Justin could play the entire game On a totally separate note, Tucker's MSU termination is now official. With cause

As long as Woody is still the top guy in New York, nothing positive is going to take place. The only thing positive that might take place is going from 4th place to 3rd place

On a similar note, did the Networks show TB12 and his halftime stuff? CBS doesn't equal ESPN but both are partners of the league I guess. I was watching Red Zone while doing other stuff & catching up. Not something I had to see, but if they showed that, it doesn't matter who's who. That would not be cool for Ronde. OTOH, I don't remember if Ditka's celebration was live a decade ago. It was a cold Chicago night, but if that wasn't live, then I probably can't feel too bad that one's celebration isn't aired on TV

Can she though? Assumes facts not in evidence. That's a fair question. On another note, I don't think Swift has any children AFAIK. Maybe she does. To be fair, it's possible to go through life without marriage & family and still do well. Not popular, but I think she'll be okay

I'll take those Bengals uniforms before those Steeles throwbacks they wore from 2012-2016

I guess it took fraudulent teams to prevent Kansas City from the quad squad. At least the Rams and Bucs can go back to going down & out for Caleb Williams while real teams like Miami, Philadelphia, and San Francisco proceed to stacking championships
-
Possibly. Just not for fully guaranteed. Can't blame Cleveland since the jokes on having more QBs than teams in the NFL in less than a quarter century is accurate. What they did was what needed to be done, but it was still not a great move

Fingers crossed for Tampa, and no thank you for an Eagles win. The latter probably wins because I suck. I'm picking Tampa for the next several games because I've paid the price not believing in them. Twice. Meanwhile, Philadelphia isn't as great (looking) as they were in 2022. Otherwise, I probably go with Philly. No reason for Tampa to lose tonight after everything. That's not fair to lose to East PA on Ronde Barber night!
