I barely watched last night but I did see Brooks and thought he was gay. I didn't see the season he was on so I didn't know him and that was my first impression of him! I like what someone above said about filming in two separate locations for a few weeks and then merge them! That would be fun to watch! I also think that when a new person arrives they show 2-3 clips of their season to remind us who the hell they are not just the white, hard to read writing under their name.

I didn't know that Big Love has a recommitment ceremony, home-based business headed by the last wife or road trip to Mormon sites! I really want to watch the rest of the series now!! The Brown's are huge grifters so it doesn't surprise me at all that they copied Big Love at all!! Yes, they should stop bleeding the beast and quit filing serial bankruptcies for sure!!!

Bill Paxton, as an actor in this role, is so inconsistent. Sometimes he's hit his mark 100% but other times I'm cringing with embarrassment at how bad he's played a particular scene. Wasn't the director paying attention when he shot the scene or re-watched it in the editing room??? I can't believe he was nominated for a Golden Globe!!

I got through all of S1 and all but the last 2 episodes of S2 while at my sister's and got to use her Kindle. I'm glad that I found that there is a forum on here for it! I'm sad because I'm sure that TWOP (RIP) had a really active one that I could've gotten all caught up on!! :(

I just spent the last 2 weeks at my sister's house where I overdosed on "different families" by watching tens of hours of DVR'd 19 Kids and Counting (about the Duggars) which my nieces (aged 11, 8 and 6) all love to watch and got through almost the first two seasons of Big Love on my sister's Kindle via Amazon Prime. Many, many times while watching them, especially 19 Kids and Counting, I thought about what screw ups the Browns really are!! If the Duggars can feed and clothe all of their children and not go on welfare, so can the Browns! Even Big Love which is fake, got me more ticked off at the Browns!! The Hendricksons don't rely on the system at all and they live in Utah!

Years ago, as in when The Real World became popular, I remember telling my sister, "Sure, they give these people psychological tests before they cast them but they only choose the ones that fail them!!" These reality shows couldn't get psychologically sound, mentally stable and emotionally healthy people to do what they do on camera!

I would love to see the hard data from the scientific tests. I would bet that Vaughn and Monet's compatibility data was lower (even though I think I recall the "experts" saying they were the highest) than the other to couples because they felt like they needed to include a minority couple to be PC. Way earlier someone on here noted that they showed that they were trying to put a Hispanic couple together based their "compatibility." Even if everyone who ever applied to be on this show said that they only wanted to marry within their own race, ethnicity or religion, I hope that they wouldn't allow that to override their scientific approach and hard data about communication, goals, commitment, etc. but I think that's exactly what happened with Monet and Vaughn only because nothing else explains how very wrong it's going!! They can't even have a normal, polite conversation!! How unfair to Monet- and I guess to that tool Vaughn as well.

It's interesting that they have Eskimos and a Native. I wish they talked more about their differences.

I would love to hear about Vaughn's past relationships. Even though he was in the military for 11 years, he dated a bit right? He's been out 1.5 years and dated enough to know that he can't find her and went on this show. Where are these chicks?? Usually, when people are on a dating reality show their exes come out the woodwork and talk to some rag sheet/RadarOnline/TMZ/DailyMail. I wouldn't mind hearing from any of their exes but Vaughn's in particular to confirm what a tool he really is.

I believe he's on here for modeling exposure way more than for marriage. He's so clueless that he can't really think he was ready to look for a life partner (Yes, Vaughn, even on Sundays you have to speak to each other) whom he had never met nor seen!! I think Jamie is an interesting mix of truly having issues due to her messed up childhood and is desperately looking for love (but really needs the security aspect of it deep down) hence her citizenry in Bachelor Nation and now this show. She's like Bethenny Frankle in some ways but way less messed up and has a much softer, vulnerable side to her. I don't think she's "fame whore" like many of her fellow BN citizens or any of the RHWoAnywhere.

Josh knows and he's fine with it. Very close to none of the citizens of Bachelor Nation rank sexual purity, fidelity or modesty very highly in their values system.

I think it's perfectly ok for Nick to say they had sex in the FS. She's the "friendly lady" who allowed it knowing she wasn't in love but he was and she was in love with Josh. She's just mean!!
