  1. I thought this was the pilot too!! It could be such a good show if it were tweaked a bit (ok, maybe a lot.) The absolute best part of this episode for me is when DM spotted the Madonna CD's and talked about seeing her in the 8th grade on the Virgin Tour and mentioning that the Beastie Boys opened for her because I did the exact same thing!! It was the highlight of my 8th grade year!!! It was my first concert and I still have the ticket stub 29 years later!! I went with all of my girlfriends from Catholic school so no boy grabbed my boob though!!
  2. While Brady is nuts too, I truly believe that his heart is in the right place. He really loves his kids, sees them everyday, and wants his wives to be close and happy. And the icing on the cake is that he works!! For the love of God, HE WORKS!!!!!
  3. I liked the last half too. I have so many questions: Where did they move from? What school did her hub originally teach at? Who is George? I know he came to her house and they know each other well and now he's dead.
  4. I think Bebe Neuwirth would be an interesting SoS but she can be so steely (Lileth-like.) I like that Tea can be sort of steely or gives it her best shot and very casual.
  5. Polygamist women dressed as ninjas 'break into home to try and abduct 15-year-old sexual assault victim set to testify against their shared husband at rape trial' Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2763888/Sister-wives-dressed-ninjas-break-home-try-abduct-15-year-old-sexual-assault-victim-set-testify-against-shared-husband-rape-trial.html#ixzz3DyxQx6ll OMG!!! Those Plygs be cray cray!!!!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2763888/Sister-wives-dressed-ninjas-break-home-try-abduct-15-year-old-sexual-assault-victim-set-testify-against-shared-husband-rape-trial.html
  6. I agree 100%!! Above I said that they seemed to blame Monet and I liked that she asked them if they thought that they were supportive enough. I took it to mean that the experts weren't that hands on once they were married. Like that the couples had to call them if there was an issue not that the experts were reaching out to them every few days. I also said that I think that they thought that had to be PC and have a minority couple at any cost. I think that's really unfair to the couple. You would think that CIA-level tests and 4 experts would have had the common sense to ask each of them, "What does a traditional marriage look like to you on a day in and day out basis?" Even your basic pre-marriage classes at church or marriage therapists who work with struggling couples ask them to define the terms they are using to make sure that everyone truly knows what they really mean when they say it! (I've never been married but I listen to Christian talk radio where marriage is talked about constantly.)
  7. Monet will go into other relationships so much better, more enlightened and with tons more information about herself and what she really wants in a husband. This was such a blessing in disguise for her in that regard. (As a single, never married woman in her 40's, I am positively jealous!!) Vaughn, not so much. I could be very wrong though!! I don't think that I heard him say that he learned anything new about himself. IF he did, let me know. I didn't DVR any of the episodes.
  8. The one expert broached individual therapy with Monet tonight but I really want to know if Jamie is in therapy. On Jamie: I'm buying it!! I really am!! What's wrong with me???????
  9. Unveiled, MAFS on the 30th. Man, are they getting their mileage out of this show!!! Of course, I'm going to watch it!!!
  10. The blonde younger "expert" seemed to blame Monet. Monet has admitted repeatedly that she now realizes that she thought she wanted some things that she really doesn't or in a different way and just tonight she admitted that she didn't convey what she felt about about a man and his career well. To quote Oprah: "When you know better, you do better." Monet now knows but before she didn't and the "expert" doesn't need to blame her!!
  11. I was in a relationship that was verbally and emotionally abusive 11 years ago and watching Vaughn triggers memories sometimes.
  12. I'm not sure about that but she looks really, really good. I like her hair shorter and I think she lost weight. I think that Courtney lost weight too. Or maybe she did her make up to make it look like it.
  13. @JAndy, http://www.ibtimes.c...himself-1689919 Thanks!! While all that may be true, they still screwed up in a way that none of them will admit to. I 100% believe that they felt that they had to be PC and have a minority couple come hell or high water. I wonder if a minority had been an expert, they would have matched them? Or they would have not allowed it by reminding them they we are only relying on the scientific data and interviews not play their PC game.
  14. I'm so over them! The experts had better admit that they made a mistake with them!!
  15. Her boys are young and he's not exactly what I would consider good step-dad material. He got all weepy about his son and BFF which was really touching but we haven't gotten and won't get a chance to meet him to see how he's turned out so far. I believe that he's 16. Good chance he's a lot like his dad and that's not necessarily a good thing!
  16. I didn't see this preview but that would be very sad and tacky!!! I hope that you were hallucinating for Courtney's sake!
  17. The Production Assistants were so pleasant! /sarc. How did some of you see it already? I thought this was the first episode.
  18. I can't wait to watch next week to see them six months later!!
  19. Yea Jason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for them!!!
  20. THANK GOD that Monet & Vaughn are getting a divorce!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Ok. Jamie said yes! I hope the "experts" have her in weekly therapy- not with any of them though!!! Vaughn and Monet need to divorce now. Plain and simple. Right now, I feel like Jason is going to bail which is crazy!!!!
  22. Why can't these people just give it a try after the experiment is over and then get divorced like normal people??? They act like after this day they must, must, must stay married like they are in some super strict religion. I think that there is a lot of faux fretting for the cameras.
