This! I weight about 10 lbs less than you and am the same height, with maybe a slightly longer inseam. It is so hard to find things that fit the way they are supposed to. I can hem pants, but I'm bad about making them shorter than I intend to. Most of my XL workout pants are several inches too long, which actually doesn't matter in a barre class. Why do inseams get longer as the size gets bigger? Just because I'm fat doesn't mean I'm miraculously taller.

So true. I know someone who is on husband #3. The first one was a drug addict, and I think the second one turned out to be one, too. Her mom said that she thinks she can fix these guys. #3 seems to be a good guy. I thought Steven seemed less angry in this episode, but still playing his games. Justin is smart enough to know that he needs to cut that out of his life, and I hope he can.

I'm pretty sure the drive thru was a Cane's, which does sell lemonade by the gallon. I'm just past the part where the wife realizes she is part of the problem. Wow. It just hit her like a ton of bricks.

Yes, the way back. We didn't have a station wagon, but I had friends who did, and that's where we sat. When I was not quite 8, we drove from Albuquerque to Austin to Jacksonville, FL in my dad's pickup truck with a camper shell on it. Mom and Dad sat in the front, my sister, my 2 cousins and I all hung out in the bed of the truck on a 4" piece of foam with a cover on it. It was so much fun. The next year, we drove from Albuquerque to Ft. Worth to Illinois the same way, only it was my mom in the back with my sister and me, and my grandma in the front with my dad. Mom was 7 months pregnant at the time. Sometimes I think it's a miracle we survived the 70s! An to keep this on topic somewhat, I think my favorite part of this episode was Bill eye to eye with the top of the grill.

They keep talking about how many they have, but then hardly cut anyone. When the cut 1 tonight, I said, "1 down, 5 to go..."

My cousin was a dancer on a cruise ship twice. I think the first time was way more of a grind than the 2nd time. The second time, the costumes and wigs were made for the dancers (rather than altering costumes made for other people), and she didn't have any port duties. The first time she had port duties. I think she had a lot of fun, though. I'm not sure if having done it has done anything for her, job-wise. She has been teaching dance some.

I had never heard of Maria before this show, but based on what I've seen so far, I don't like her. I guess I've never seen Bronson in anything but Perfect Strangers, and was a little surprised when he spoke in his regular voice. :)

Is it just me, or she doesn't actually say what she plans to use the money for in her Go Fund Me? I don't often yell at the TV, but this episode had me doing that. All the excuses about why she couldn't stay on the diet. Please. I know it's not easy to live in a hotel and eat well, but she definitely could have done better than she was doing.

Yeah, I heard that comment and kind of rolled my eyes at that. Lily is kind of wacky, but she did a good job with her fish. There are a couple that I think have potential. The twin thing is going to be annoying, though.

I was wondering what kind of camping place they shopped at that didn't have a Dutch oven. I think I would have tried to use what you see in the screen caps - I have baked on charcoal in something similar, and while I had to figure out how to not burn the crap out of the bottom of the bread I was making, I did figure it out. I totally see why the first batch burned.

So basically this show is Beat Bobby Flay without the commentators on the initial contest and with Iron Chefs instead of just Bobby. Not sure I like Alton sitting at the table instead of the Chairman.

Um, Carson needs to go. I never watched Queer Eye, but I can't stand how he's acting on this show. I love Erik Estrada (back from his CHiPs days), but I'm afraid he's going to be the first to go. I liked Melissa, too. Maybe it's time to stop trying to watch this one.

But Pepin has stories I actually want to listen to. And I think his hands just know what to do at this point. He's been cooking on TV for what seems like forever (not that that's bad). I called my mom halfway through this episode, so I didn't really see the presentations. But I did see Matthew and his whole "how long do I do this vs. this" thing. He still annoys me.
