  1. If I remember right, Silas had to "drain" Katherine of all her blood to get the cure. They all thought Katherine was dead but then her heart kept beating - she woke up and asked Damon if she were in hell. Of course, if that's the case, I don't know how Damon was going to get the cure - I can't see him "draining" Elena of all her blood so she could possibly die.
  2. I liked this one! There were parts I thought were kinda stupid - Jo blathering at Bonnie for how long before finally taking her to the hospital - but I still liked it over all. I'm not sad Elena is leaving. She can't be gone fast enough for me, but what's going on with Alaric? I don't want Alaric to go anywhere!! If Matt doesn't like Mystic Falls then he can leave (no, please don't leave Matty) but don't chase Alaric away!! Dalaric and Denzo and Defan equals awesome to me. It could only have been better with a little Bamon thrown in! IMO, there's no chance in hell Damon is taking the cure so the question, in my mind, is who will? I thought Lily but if she and her witchpire friends are going to be next season's big bads, then I'm not sure who'll get it. I've really been enjoying this season and I'm really looking forward to next season without Elena.
  3. I'll just be over here by myself because I liked it. I've been loving this whole season surprisingly. I am glad that the no humanity thing is only lasting a short while - I'm bored of it and yeah, I'll agree, Caroline is super annoying. I do like all the facial expressions Stefan makes when he's switched off though, very fun to watch. I see the very obvious set up of Elena taking the cure and going off to live her human life but I'm good with it. I haven't liked Elena since forever so she can go. I'm sorry for Damon having to hear his mother say she doesn't love him. I love that he just put that aside and took care of his brother. The hybrid witch thing is a big weird thing, how did Klaus and company never hear or know about vampwitches?
  4. Why so many filler episodes this season? This one was boring - too much filler, not enough Dean and Sam for me. I rarely am bored by Show - even when it's bad there's still lots of Dean to watch - this one didn't even have that going for it. Meh.
  5. I loved this episode and I'm loving Season 6 in general. I don't ship Bamon by any stretch but their friendship is made of all the wins for me. I hope they make up quickly. No problem for me with Steroline flipping their respective "switches". I'm hoping it will be fun. Best line in the episode, possibly the entire series, goes to Caroline with her "make everything about you, Elena. You have a gift." line. Just awesome.
  6. I really liked this episode! It reminded me of old school TVD where so much happens in one episode that you can't believe it when it's over! Best things for me were 1)The Defan scenes. So good. I love when the brothers show their care for each other. 2) Bonnie and Damon's hug! Holy crap, that was awesome! 3)Liz had a lovely funeral, befitting her place in the community. 4)Elena being much less annoying and self-centered for a change. Of course, Matty Blue is going to be a cop now. Who didn't see that one coming? Of course, Jo is pregnant. And Alaric proposed. I mean, damn, they've known each other for at least 10 minutes by now! I love love love Alaric and was so happy they brought him back from the dead, but for this? I don't have a good suggestion as to what they should be doing with him but I know I don't like this storyline. I find Jo bland and boring - and she's making Alaric boring and weird. Meh, I guess I'll just be glad Alaric is alive. And apparently going to be a daddy. (heehee) It was nice to see Damon reach out a little to Caroline with his eulogy. Caroline's song was beautiful. Stefan realizing that what he felt for Caroline might be better than what he felt with Elena and Katherine was excellent. Mama Salvatore and 1903 - I got nuthin. I don't know how she could be in 1903 when she supposedly died in 1854. I'm interested to see how this plays out. I mean, obviously she was a witch, and somehow connected to the ridiculous Gemini coven, but how will they explain her "death" and her being trapped in 1903? It could be a fun storyline, I'm withholding judgment for now. I'm also withholding judgment on NoHumanity Caroline. It could be different than the others who flipped their switches. Caroline is different than the others, she's not seemed to struggle as much with the heightened emotions and bloodlust, so we'll see. As long as she's not as unbearable as NoHumanity Elena, I'll be good.
  7. But I thought Cain would have the magic answer for Dean and the Mark!! Awesome episode. I thought the Dean vs Cain fight scene was intense. All the interactions between the characters tonight were intense, actually. Except for the crap with Rowena. I thought she could be somewhat entertaining but I found myself saying, "Shut up Rowena" everytime she talked tonight. I agree with Happytobehere - small doses please! The last scene with Dean and Sam - Dean's face when he left the room, Sam's face and teary eyes when he told Cas Dean was in trouble - perfection.
  8. I'll join the folks getting the grit out of their eyes. This episode was just really good. I was all set to be sad about Jeremy leaving. I know he hasn't had a storyline in 2 seasons but he's Little Gilbert. Instead I got punched in the gut with Liz dying!! I liked that Damon got to share so much time with her - I wouldn't have called them BFFs but they've been close for ages and the affection for each other feels real to me. Liz's last scene in her memories was just so moving. As a daughter, my heart broke and I cried. As a mom, my heart broke and I cried. Well done, show. On a happier note, Steroline! I've never really shipped them but I love how Caroline makes Stefan smile more than anyone else. And I love how she's pretty much free to just be herself around Stefan. So, to me, the Steroline kiss was lovely. I'm onboard. And I hate to admit it because I really liked Enzo, but what the hell are they doing with him? His storyline is not only idiotic but it's boring and takes you out of everything else that has sucked you in! I hope this crap ends soon - kill him or give him something less stupid and more interesting to do!
  9. I'll be in the minority because I liked this episode well enough. I've really been enjoying S10 for the most part and I think it has to do with the brothers behaving like brothers again. I saw the re-emergence of Dumb!Dean too, and I really dislike how they make him stupid to advance their plot. But, I also saw him smiling and goofing around with Sam which made me smile. I didn't care about how ridiculous he was being eating his ramen noodles, he was having a good time and I liked it. And I also didn't care about him getting whiplash trying to look at all the college girls, that seems like a Dean thing to me. I guess when Dean seems somewhat happy, then I'm happy. Has the ghost's wife been on Supernatural before? She looked so familiar but I could not figure out from where! It's driving me nuts.
  10. I liked this episode. Loved everything Delena, Steroline, Bamon, Beremy. I don't understand why they kept Enzo around if they weren't going to have him do anything with Damon. This Sarah Salvatore stuff is boring and stupid. I like Enzo and I love Matt - it's too bad they can't have a decent storyline at all! I'd rather see them hanging out, drinking at the Grill or Salvatore house than this. I will say though that Sarah Salvatore is just beautiful. I really can't stand Liv and tonight just made it even worse. She's just awful. I'm actually sorry that Tyler (whom I've always been meh about) likes her! I hated Luke's hair but I'd rather watch him and his terrible haircut for hours than watch Liv for 10 minutes! Week 2 with no Alaric. I miss Alaric.
  11. I'm not a fan of Not-Jensen Dean either but I did enjoy this episode. Dylan Everett did a great job getting Dean's mannerisms and speech patterns down. He looks exactly *nothing* like Dean but he does a really good job. Sam's looking at Teen Dean faces were hilarious - he kept cracking me up! The one-liners were awesome tonight - including all the dick jokes, IMO. Of course, my opinion is apparently one of a 12 year old boys but whatta ya gonna do? At least they refrained from the "Shake it Off" dick joke! (teehee) Best part of the episode for me was that it ended with Dean smiling. When was the last time we saw Dean smiling at the end of an episode?
  12. Not the best episode this season but I liked it. I still love this show regardless of some of the crap I've had to handwave away - guess I'm in it for the long haul. I felt like the main characters all acted the way they always act. Caroline cared about her mom, Liz cared about her daughter, Damon cared about his friend Liz, Stefan cared about his friend Caroline and Elena cared about Elena. I was good with Damon's plan to slow Liz's death by releasing Kai. He didn't do anything that the others wouldn't have done if they'd thought of it. He tried to save his friend. I could not care less about the whole Gemini coven/ merge thing. I don't really like any of the twins - if forced to choose I'd probably pick Kai because at least he's funny sometimes. I really don't want Liz to die, it's so sad. And if they discover Kai can siphon off vampire magic, is this how Elena becomes human again?
  13. Add me to the ugly crying group! I really liked the finale - I'll miss the Bravermans. The scene that really got me was when Zeke and Camille were standing back watching their family bunch up for a group picture. The two of them standing there, watching their kids and grandkids laughing and gathered together, reminded me of my own parents. They've been married over 50 years now and are about the same age as Zeke and Camille. Family gatherings, with all 4 kids, 10 grandkids and now 2 great-grandkids, are hard to come by but when they happen, my parents, especially my dad, always take a moment to step back and just see what the two of them have created. I've actually heard my dad say "We did good, didn't we?" to my mom before. That scene just got me. All the love and pride while looking at their family. Trope or no, Camille calling Zeke's name had me saying No, no, no, out loud at the TV. The scenes with Zeke and Sarah were beautiful. I pretty much enjoyed the entire show with few exceptions. Too much Max! I swear, he had more screen time than anyone else! I just find Max and in conjunction with him, Christina and Adam, so damn annoying. I could care less about Haddie as well, I find her just as annoying as the rest of her family. Less scenes with all of them would've been fine by me. All in all, IMO, a good series finale. And Jason Street at the end - so awesome, we just needed Tim Riggins to make an appearance!
  14. The whole premise of this episode was lame but I still liked it. It's unbelievable that a human can look like Jensen Ackles. Back later, commenting from my phone is too hard! Lol
  15. I liked this episode but found myself getting a little bored while watching. I could predict pretty much everything that was going to happen, there was zero mystery. Did I predict the cancer guy throwing up blood and dying in the hospital hallway? No, but I knew he would die, so no real twist or surprise there. Meh. I did like the Damon and Liz scene - he spent the night in her hospital room, I love their friendship. I hate that Liz is going to die - I'd be fine with making her a damn vampire too. Why not? Don't care about the damn Wonder Twins or Jo. I keep trying to like Jo - cuz Alaric - but I'm not having lots of luck so far. Liv always has a sneer and a bad attitude and Luke couldn't be more annoying and whiny, IMO. They can all go on back to Portland now. Kai is fun though, I wish he would've clunked Elena with that tire iron again. I don't know crap about directing but damn, Ian looked good in every scene so Yay, go Paul! Everyone looked pretty damn good actually, Paul hearts his friends!
  16. Don't regret it!! It will be awesome!! I don't know about JA specifically, but I went to a con for a different show at the end of 2013 and got a photo op with a certain blue-eyed vampire. As I was waiting in line and looking at him, I quickly de-aged to about 14 years old. By the time it was my turn, I was weepy mess! My vamp was wonderful, gave me the biggest hug ever for my photo op, then told me to smile when it was done. I think they're used to fangirling and they're super sweet about it - so get your picture!! :) BTW, I'm way, way, way too old to be crying like a teenager meeting my teen idol! LOL
  17. I need the number to join this support group, please. I actually made an audible noise, which scared my chihuahua, when Dean came into the room in shadow. Holy crap, how is that perfection possible? The opening scene was hilarious to me. I thought it was Kenny Rogers standing there threatening to kill Crowley at first (I was showing my age tonight)! I'm unimpressed with Rowena - am I supposed to believe Crowley is really that stupid? I know she's his mother, but really? I'm agree with those who don't care for Claire. Just ugh. And apparently, she'll be back. Think that support group will also help with wet Winchesters? I always hate Sam's hair, I usually think it's ridiculous looking with its' Marlo Thomas flip, but wet Sam hair was hot!
  18. I'm so glad the anti-magic barrier is gone! Nothing better than that scene with Damon and Stefan at the Salvatore house - Damon's surprise at seeing his car, Stefan's joy at giving it back to him, the Defan hug - just Awesome!! Back later with actual thoughts on the episode. I think I liked it! :)
  19. I always love seeing Dean - so there's that - but I was a little bored this episode. It was fine, I guess, but not midseason finale material to me. I will say I am SO glad that they finally had Cas say aloud what I've believed all along. Jimmy Novak is dead, he's been dead, and he's gone. I'm hoping that ends the questions and comments regarding whether Jimmy Novak is still along for the ride, if it's Jimmy that wants a cheeseburger, or any other Jimmy Novak related remark. They also cleared up where Crowley is as well. He's not actually in Hell - for some reason, he's hanging out in an abandoned warehouse kind of building here on earth. That ends the speculation about what the hell happened to Hell, at least it does for me. I admit that I don't really care about Claire - maybe that's why I found the episode slow. I also miss Crowley doing something besides talking, talking, talking. Rowena seemed like she would be fun but tonight I just found both of them meh. Dean's story about John was fine too. I guess I don't usually describe an episode of Supernatural as "fine". Two minutes of action at the end didn't cut it for me. The promo for the Jan 20th episode was more interesting than the whole of tonight's episode to me. Maybe it will be better on rewatch.
  20. Another good episode, IMO. I did surprise myself though. First, it actually IS possible to hate Elena more than I already hated her. I'm so glad Damon spoke up and told her he wasn't trying to rescue Bonnie for Elena, he was trying to rescue his friend. I just don't know how they can make Elena so self-centered and still expect us to love our "heroine". Blech. My second surprise was how happy I was to see Bonnie! I haven't really cared for Bonnie throughout the whole series, but she's been awesome this season. I loved her teasing Damon about calling her annoying and I loved how she hotwired a car and called herself badass. The last scene with her crying and all alone was heartbreaking. I'm actually invested in Bonnie this season and it's awesome! It would be so nice if for Christmas I could have my favorite ships doing okay for a change. Dalaric and Defan. I would add Delena but still hating on Elena right now.
  21. I love seeing Jodi Mills, which always makes me nervous she's about to be killed. It was just an okay episode to me - I like to see Dean and Sam, then guest stars, not the other way around. The episode was still enjoyable, I guess I can't just have an episode of the camera focused on Jensen's face, right? Just the idea of Cas and Donna together makes me smile. That would really be fun to watch!
  22. I liked this episode but I'll agree they packed a bunch of stuff into it! I'm happy with S10 so far. I think the main reason is because they're finally letting me like Sam again. I've spent the last 2 seasons hating the guts that kept Sam living and it's nice to not feel that hate anymore. I couldn't be a bigger DeanGirl (my family knows Supernatural by what I call it, The Dean Show) but I always liked Sam too - until S8 and S9. I'm just glad to be able to like him again. I hope that was the end of Cole. He's boring and makes me bored. I'm also fine with having Hannah go away, the angel storyline is what? I don't know what the hell Cas and Hannah's mission actually is so I'm not going to miss Hannah. I wish the damn writers would sack up and let Cas hang with the boys. The separate storylines don't work and Cas should not be boring! I was nowhere near clever enough to associate Rowena with Crowley. I didn't put it together at all so it was a fun twist when Crowley said "Mother?". I thought Rowena was kinda fun too! Sam saying Dean's dating site name was hilarious. "Impala67" - I laughed at the preview clip and I laughed again during the show. That was just funny! And I don't think Dean needs to go 8 minutes out of his way to get lucky, let alone use a dating app and go 8 hours out of his way! I mean, holy shit, he looks like that all the time!!
  23. There were 2 Gilbert rings. In Season 1, Daddy Uncle John told the story of how there were 2 Gilbert rings, one belonged to him, one to his brother, Grayson. John gave his ring to Isobel, who gave it to Alaric. After Grayson died, John began wearing Grayson's ring. After Katherine cut off John's fingers and Stefan told John to leave town in S2, John gave the ring he'd been wearing - Grayson's ring - to Jeremy. When John returned in S2, he kept bugging Alaric about getting his ring back. He threatened to tell Jenna about Alaric's secrets if Alaric didn't give him back his ring. After John gave Damon the dagger to kill Elijah, which would've killed Damon as well, Alaric gave him back the ring telling him that John needed it more than he did after what he did to Damon. At the end of S2, when Daddy Uncle John had Bonnie do the spell that would keep Elena human and would kill him, he had Jeremy give the ring and a letter to Elena. In S3, when Alaric went with Elena into the mountains to look for Stefan, she gave him the ring to wear for safety from Klaus and the werewolves. Alaric kept the ring after that. Dying a lot with the ring gave Esther the opportunity to influence the ring-wearer into killing vampires and vampire sympathizers, so the rings weren't exactly the cause of the wearers going evil, Esther was. In 3x20, Esther takes the last white oak stake while she's inhabiting Rebekah's body. Back in her own body, she takes Rick's ring and melts it down to preserve the white oak stake and make it indestructible. So, after that there is only one Gilbert ring left and Jeremy has it. After Jeremy died and couldn't be brought back by the Gilbert ring because he was a supernatural hunter, Elena took the ring off his hand and threw it to Damon. Damon had the ring until 4x21. He gave the ring to Matt then to turn Elena's humanity back on. Matt's had the ring ever since. As to whether it works anymore with the Other Side gone, no clue - I would guess it's worthless now but who knows what the plot might need. Whew! Nobody can tell that I've watched every TVD episode more than once or twice, right? ;)
  24. Another fun episode - IMO, Season 6 is really good so far. Loved Damon, Stefan and Alaric on their own road trip and not at that extremely lame Friendsgiving thing. Bless Caroline's heart for trying but that dinner was just so lame! I liked the reveal about Jo and the Wonder Twins. And I'm sure we haven't seen the end of "Papa Kai". It seemed like there was limited Elena exposure so that was also really good! Less Elena works for me always.
  25. Fun episode but enough with the freakin' gay jokes already! I'm so sick of people thinking Dean and Sam are gay - it's old and stale and tired. It adds fuel to the "queerbaiting" debate fire and I hate it! Rarely do I care about their gay jokes but enough is enough. After reading the TVGuide article, I'm sick of it all. Anyway, I really enjoyed the other parts of the episodes. I thought the cougar ladies were hilarious with both Sam and Dean. Liked all the Clue references. And then, holy crap, Dean. His face after emptying his gun into the shifter was both scary and unbelievably hot! And since I think everything Dean does is hot, the hotness level was higher than normal with that face! ;)
