  1. Joe's a very outdoorsy guy and will probably help make EOE more like Club Med. So he's basically got nothing to do but build a shelter, fish, keep the fire going, get in everyone's good graces, and relax. I don't consider Joe the average Survivor who would have a tough time on EOE compared to some others. While I don't think Kama was wrong in getting rid of him while they could, we'll see if they regret that decision later on. Also, do they know when the person is getting back in? I feel like I missed a lot this episode by not paying attention for 2 seconds.
  2. Yes, those who chose to go back to EOE and stick it out (Chris, Aubry, Reem) and any future vote outs will now be considered the jury. I'm assuming that even if Chris, Aubry, or Reem don't last until the next returning challenge, they are still part of the jury despite being a pre-jury boot.
  3. Where Victoria's concerned, I'm wondering if that's just the edit she's getting or if she's really calling the shots. It could be a good thing that they are giving her the credit over Eric or Ron thinking up the plan, but also might make her seem overconfident and wind up blindsided. As of now, I'd say it's a good thing, but we'll see. Eric's edit is non existent, Ron's is overconfident, but Victoria's getting the best of the 3. As for the rest of Kama they are just there. I also don't see why Ron is seen as calling the shots. He wanted Joe out over Wentworth, so they went along with it. I don't see how that makes him a leader. He did say on his twitter this week that he played up the whole Kama strong at TC after Victoria made the comment about getting rid of threats. He wanted to make Joe feel comfortable and not play an idol if he had one. However, I still think Joe knew he was going, or at least that there was a good chance he was going. I'll again say he thinks he's better at this game than he is, or at least is being edited. I wondered why the Kama group looked a little bigger on the beach, but didn't see Aurora. Hope she doesn't jump back in with the 6 that wanted her gone, and is just playing double agent. Whatever the case, I just want something exciting to happen this week. Heck, I'm fine with Wardog sticking around if it means a Kama member leaving.
  4. Looks like David wants to side with the misfits? That must be where Rick says to David that he's getting played, because he apparently wants nothing to do with Wentworth's gang. Wonder if he's going to be portrayed as a swing vote between the Kama 6 and the band of misfits (or if David caves and sides with Kama and Rick). Also wonder if Rick will be sorry that he shared his idol with David. I'd be shocked if an idol doesn't come out this episode. I really want someone from Kama to go home this week. I had to laugh in the preview when David said that Eric and Ron are running this show, but I can't even remember who Eric is. Not sure if that's a good sign that someone this invisible so far is being called a leader.
  5. I can understand them being mad at Wardog, because he's the one who was the deciding vote. But David has been gunning for Wentworth from the start (though from what she said on her twitter she didn't know that until watching). Kelley/Lauren were a tight pair just like David/Rick. I get why those two are bitter, but at the same time, given the circumstances where Rick went, I can't really put the blame on Wentworth/Lauren. Wardog, yes. And, I can also understand why those 3 would be nervous that Rick was coming for them, because he clearly was. I'm with those rooting for the chickens to win. I didn't even realize they merged at Manu beach. Was whoever edited this season drunk when they did it? I'm more confused what's going on each week.
  6. So Keith and Wendy didn't know by quitting they were giving up the jury: https://xfn-blogs.xfinity.com/tv/2019/03/28/survivor-castaway-keith-the-boredom-anticipation-and-reflection-breaks-you/
  7. So the spoilers that haven't/have proven true: CONFIRMED Wendy and Keith were premerge quits at EOE (Wendy was always named, but the other spoiler said there would be another one that was pre-jury, and many just guessed it would be Keith) David and Joe were not pre-merge boots, as they were rumored to be Everyone voted out of EOE that stayed until the merge and didn't quit are jurors; the jury will be 13 members Aurora, Gavin, and Julia made the merge UNCONFIRMED David is medevaced (which may be what we see next week) We’ll call these the Kelley spoilers: she goes deep into the game; is idoled out; is idoled out by Lauren; loses the F4 fire making challenge; loses in the end to the EOE returning player (Dale's continued angry tweets at the EOE twist are giving this a boost) F3 is Lauren, Victoria and one of the EOE returnees Both returnees from EOE are men Chris has a red merge buff, indicating he returns to the game (but he could be trolling) Eric is voted off, wins his way back at the final 6 Joe loses the second EOE return challenge Eric wins Only 1 idol will be found by a man this season a player will win 3 immunity challenges in a row Final 6 was allegedly Aubry, Eric, Kelley, Julie, and an unknown, though I think Anthony at Sucks said this was false Lauren or Gavin finish in 5th Rick makes the final 4 and loses the F4 fire making challenge; also rumored he makes the final 6 at least Aubry was said to have made the final 3 but lost; could still happen if she returns from EOE Winner was an early boot that returned from EOE; ending was considered controversial

  9. I went back and watched the preview. Ron says he wants to break them down, and we cut to Kelley and Lauren. This after he says to Eric "they have zero power", and that he's the puppet master. I don't know if he just wants to make them turn against the other, or just sees them as a pair and wants to vote them off. I can see Wardog jumping to the Kama 6 side if it spares him a few weeks, so maybe that's part of that conversation. I think I like Kelley more when she's on the bottom. Hopefully this is leading to an idol play next week based on what Ron said in the preview. Also, I'm dying to see why he calls himself the puppet master. What exactly has he done? I'm curious what Rick means when he tells David that he's getting played.
  10. I always felt that Joe played this game with his heart too much. He always talked about his family back home, doing this for them, getting his dad out there for the family visit. And this season, it was about his future with Sierra. I think he's just too likable of a guy to really want to get his hands dirty. I also think he gets into his own head too much. The only thing I can despise about him is how great his hair looks. In real life, I don't think it's looking that great anymore, but being on an island with no access to showers or conditioner, and it looks better than mine. Mine doesn't take long to frizz up in humidity. After tonight I kind of see why Julia hasn't gotten much camera time. She's getting confessionals now and I still find her forgettable. Again, the editing this season is weird. Even fan and producer favorite Joe didn't get a lot of screen time.
  11. From what little we saw of Aurora, I liked her, especially since I wasn't expecting to pre-show. If she banded together with OldManu, they would be 6/6 with Kama. However, not exactly sure that David and Rick will want to work with their former tribe members after they voted for them tonight. At the same time, they'd be crazy to go with Kama 6 because that group doesn't seem like it's breaking up. Next week will probably be telling as to how the rest of the merge is gonna go. Victoria isn't my favorite but something about her I find intriguing. I don't like her, but don't outright dislike her either. I can't quite figure her out. Is she really that good at this game? Is she just lucky? She sometimes seems flighty to me and not observant, but I can't tell if it's an act or what. I do think she's a dark horse to win. I'm surprised we didn't see more of Eric/Gavin tonight other than 'yeah we made the merge' and 'still Kama strong, right?' I don't like Ron, but other than that, I don't know much about the Kama newbies. Or even Lauren.
  12. Oh, I forgot about that one. Do Reem, Chris, and Aubry get merge buffs? Because Chris was seen with a red merge buff, so that might explain that. Otherwise he might still be a contender to be the second returning player.
  13. It helps when I like the newbies lol The Kama tribe I do not. I'm all for them voting out returning players, as other seasons failed to do and got star struck. At the same time, I don't know what Kama is so confident about because this game was handed to them on a silver platter in the beginning. It would have been moronic to keep Joe BUT why not try and blindside someone else? Obviously Kama 6 is going to have an unpleasant surprise when Wentworth and Lauren do a double idol play and save themselves (and hopefully send one of them packing). Again, I was shocked that Wentworth didn't play her idol tonight, but with Joe gone, I'm guessing it won't be long. Does Kama 6 just think they'll stay strong until the end, and band together to get Joe out? I think his immunity record speaks for itself, and if he does come back, he may be very tough to get rid of a second time. I think I missed this, but why did they split the votes for David and Rick? Kelley and Lauren knew that they have 2 idols, so the odds of David and Rick having them are pretty slim. I'm also curious who David and Rick voted for tonight, because David seemed surprised to see Joe's name. Did Julie tell Rick she wasn't telling him but that it just wasn't him? Again, not sure that's a way to gain trust. He goes with people who want him out, or risk people who won't tell him what they're planning.
  14. What I find humorous about the Kama 6 and thinking they're good at the game, is that they've had luck on their side from the beginning. They had Joe, which let them win, they remained intact thanks to one of the weirdest tribe swaps ever, and now they are at the merge (almost) intact. Without Joe it probably would have been a little more even. And it's not like Joe was totally blindsided tonight. He openly said he knew where he stood. I hope the others band together and take the Kama's down a few pegs. I don't know who I want out more from that group. I think I might actually be rooting for Wardog, Wentworth, and Lauren after tonight!
  15. I realized that somewhere tonight Fishbach was screaming at his TV and asking why he couldn't play with the people who wanted to vote the Golden Boy out-and followed through. Something about Joe, what little we saw of him, felt off this season. I don't think he was enjoying himself as much.
  16. Looks like we got medical coming in next week. Of course Victoria would be the one seen still standing there and asking "what happened?" Well, we know it's not her that went down. Not sure if Ron deserves the puppet master title. Hopefully this is a sign that he gets blindsided next week or idoled out.
  17. So does Rick's idol count as one idol? Or is it a super duper power idol that can save whoever he wants, whenever he wants (seriously, this show just seems to make up the rules as it goes along anymore). That was a pretty undramatic mast raise at EOE. I figured the first quits would be given more fanfare. It really sucks that Wendy and Keith missed out on the jury by a few days. I wonder if they knew? Why can’t one of those huge gusts of wind take a challenge projectile and launch it right at Probst’s big mouth? As the tribes walked in and everyone saw Wendy was gone, Jeff said “Wardog, that was like a celebration.” Probst and I have different definitions of celebration apparently. That EOE return challenge was a nail biter. I don’t know what I enjoyed more, that or the look of dread on the current castaways faces. I like everyone on EOE more than those left in the game, so I’m glad they all got a second chance (Reem included). I’d rather focus on them every week than those still in the game (yeah, this cast has me uninspired).
  18. I was stunned that an idol didn't come out. I think Joe knew his time was up. Kama made it clear day 1 how they felt about him and Aubry. It's too bad the rest of the misfts split their votes. I was happy to see Rick, but not sure he's got room to talk since he did get voted out once and was a target tonight (and was gifted an idol so the EOE isn't a total bust). Don't forget Probst loved Caramoan. I'm wondering if this is why Lynn Spielman got fired from casting. Here's an idea-since they're all about returning players and letting people back in, let's bring back the DvsG cast. I miss that season more and more every week. It's not even the twist for me, but the cast this season is just bad.
  19. This is going to be a long and boring merge if Kama runs it. Other than predictably getting Joe out, this cast is terrible at this game, imo. Voting Rick off in a game where the sole purpose is to vote people off, and sending him back to a place he chose to go, doesn’t mean these people lack morals, or that it’s evil. And Eric, Gavin, and Ron just reek obnoxiousness and overconfidence. Also not sure where Victoria's 'tude came from. Joe's been called a threat since pre-season interviews in S30. I assumed you were talking about him, too (and she probably was). The best part of tonight’s episode is that we barely heard from Wardog. Otherwise, a very meh start to the merge. You think wanting to get on this show for 18 years she would have learned the whole point of the show.
  20. Well, there was a spoiler about Rick making the final 4/6. Maybe that's back on?
  21. That alliance is my worst nightmare. But, this season has been pretty crappy so far, so it would be fitting. Considering Eric and Gavin were all about getting returning players out and having their turn in the sandbox, I'm surprised they'd want to work with Kelley. That could go along with the "alliances are tested" that was in the description this week. I'm still sticking with it being a boring boot, like Joe or David, or someone whose been just an extra at this point, like Julia or Aurora. I know it's too much to wish for to see Wardog get that smug grin wiped off his face. Most times at this point I'm very nervous for my favorites, and how the merge is gonna go. But I really don't have many favorites this season that I'm that invested in.
  22. I also think at the merge point, there's going to be bigger threats and people wanting to make moves and create blindsides, so someone like Wendy could slide by until very late in the game for that reason alone.
  23. Aubry could very well have some big come back edit if she returns from EOE. Was an awkward fish out of water trying to fit in, fulfilled one of her Survivor goals by finding an idol, got blindsided and played, but then comes back and hopefully plays smarter. Given the anti returning player mentality this season, I'd be very surprised to see a returning player win. David seems like he's had growth since his last season, but is still the kid with no seat at the cool kids table. Joe will probably be the focus for being a threat until he's voted off, and then we get EOE Joe. Since there's been focus on Gavin/Eric working as a pair, I expect to see more of that dynamic at the merge, even in a bigger alliance. Unless Julia, Julie, and Aurora get some big edit at the merge with strategic face time, I'd count them out in the next couple of episodes if they don't get much focus.
  24. Julia? I’m dying to see if she gets any confessionals tonight. Now she’s got everyone to be up against in the same tribe.
  25. I agree about the editing being off this season. Ghost Island was way too predictable, and this season there isn't much to go on. With the merge I think a lot can happen and edits can pick up. Right now I feel safe in saying that Wardog will not win. In terms of the returning players still in the game, I'd say Kelley has the stronger edit. It's a very polarizing one, as some think she's coming across mean girl, others don't see it. But compared to the others, I'd say it's better. I don't see Joe winning, based on his edit. David is a wild card for me. Victoria is also a wild card. I can't tell if she's calling the shots and masterminding or just a pawn in an alliance who is getting credit for being a master mind (and while that can scream winner, it can also scream someone who gets overconfident and blindsided). I feel like she's one of the few whose gotten an edit so far, especially where Kama's concerned. Everyone else is up in the air for me, because a lot of it will depend on edits at the merge.
