  1. Oh, you missed a good quote from Dan. He called Dean, Noura, Karishma, and Elaine a bunch of rag tag losers and weirdos. In front of his 13 year old son, as well as the loved ones of Lauren, Tommy, and Janet. I was thrilled Janet won, but sad that Tommy was part of her pair. Equally sad that they picked Dan and Lauren to join them, but it wasn't surprising.
  2. So basically Dan said the longer Karishma is around, the more people will want to sit next to her in the end because she can't win. I guess he's hoping he can take her spot now. Well, at least I had last week's delicious idol play by Karishma that got Elizabeth out. Janet, please run far, far, far away from them. You are too good to be associated with that crap fest.
  3. Dean says they couldn't trust Noura-I think they were doing just fine until he ratted her out to Tommy. Who seriously gets serial killer eyes anytime someone says his name came up. Anyone not named Lauren, Tommy, Dan, Noura, and Dean needs to win this season. It's the only redeeming factor. I can not stand the arrogance of Tommy, Dan, and Lauren. I can't even stand looking at them. I can't even fathom making it through the next couple of weeks. And as if Dan wasn't already Mr. #MeToo, he's also Father of the Year. Any chance Rick Devens and Chris Underwood can crash the show this season?
  4. I knew this was too good to be true. Damn you Dean, I was actually on your side tonight. I hereby crown you King Goat.
  5. I haven't seen any. With the holiday I assumed it would be pushed back, if she chose to do one. Like Missy and Aaron, she might have refused to do any that wouldn't allow e-mail. If she has things in the works, she might have figured it was better to say nothing, and stick with her apology she issued.
  6. Funny thing is, she wasn't at the DvsG reunion, but did give Davie the money after the fact. I'm not sure I trust this show to cover what happened to the extent it should be, and with the respect it should be. I remember during the S30 reunion, while they were discussing Will vs Shirin, Will's wife (who was miraculously wearing a mic), yelled from the audience that Will wasn't being a bully. I can't remember if those were her exact words, but that was the idea. Now, it could be that the parties involved, and frankly the only opinions I care about (Kellee and Janet), don't want to get into a deep discussion about what happened, and I don't know if Missy or Elizabeth would want to get terribly in depth, either. Or maybe they would, if they thought Jeff would go easy on them. It's hard to know what approach Jeff will take, especially with the backlash he and the show haven't gotten. His pride and ego are probably hurt more than him actually feeling bad about how things were handled. What I see the reunion consisting of (when it starts at 10:30)-a quick interview with the winner, profiling the next season, and talking about Dan gate. I do wonder if Dan will even show up. Hopefully Jeff saves talking to Rob/Sandra and anyone else during the commercial breaks like he's done in the past few seasons.
  7. I still think Janet or Kellee will get the Sia money (outside chance Elaine). Last year she was throwing money at everyone. Joe got some for cutting his hair, and he donated it to a cancer charity. I know there were a couple more.
  8. I was just going to say, on Big Brother an alliance of 9 somehow means your all making the final 2. I don't think Elaine wanted to go along with the plan, she just didn't have the opportunity. And she did want to get rid of Karishma, so I guess it worked out for her, vote wise (until Karishma played her idol). The problem with Elaine is, while I think she's actually one of the smarter people left in the game, I don't know that she's really going to be able to make her own moves. Lauren/Tommy aren't breaking up, and all you have to do is say 'your name...' to them and they automatically assume it means they are being targeted. Dean thinks he's in with them, and Dan/Janet sadly seem to have re-connected. I think those 5 are the 5. Then there's Noura, who like Dean might actually think she's more important in the game than she is. But she's definitely on the outside, whether she knows it or not. So it's essentially majority rules, or in this case, Tommy/Lauren. I went into this season loving pretty much everyone. With each passing week, I found myself finding more and more people to root against. Now I'm down to rooting for people I never expected. I don't even like Noura but would prefer her winning over anyone named Tommy, Dan, Dean, or Lauren. At this point, I want the final 4 to be Janet, Elaine, Noura, and Karishma. But Survivor being what it is, no way we'll have an all female final 4. That's happened what, once? Dean is just stupid. He considers himself a physical threat, considers two other people that haven't won anything or proven otherwise as physical threats, and therefore thinks they need to band together to save each other. I don't know what's more amusing, that Dean thinks they are coming after him and his muscles, or that Tommy is some kind of meat shield for him. Tommy just seems pissy when this game doesn't go his way. He and Lauren just bounce the arrogance off of each other beautifully. I loved seeing them go into TC this week acting like they were ruling the world, and Karishma foiled whatever stupid plan they had with Lauren's idol. Lauren seemed quite proud of telling Dan that Karishma was talking about him, and telling him to go over and confront him as she watched from her hammock. I don't think she has much to brag about in getting the people to play for immunity and sit out like she probably thinks she does. I'd still like to know how Jamal got the shittiest 'lesson' of all. Also, Tommy getting mad when people write his name down. I don't even think it's a case of 'these people are after me' as much as he's annoyed they are writing his name down. Same with Dan, but there are enough reasons to hate Dan.
  9. Dan and Dean I can't see in any scenario voting to keep her. Noura is her own free spirit, so who knows. I think Janet will go with the group. Tommy, Lauren, and Elaine are wild cards. Elaine did openly say this past ep that she wanted to vote her off over Elizabeth, but was going with the majority, but if Elaine thought keeping her would end up benefiting her game, I could see her keeping her around. Tommy/Lauren would probably be the deciding factor whether she stayed or went. Again, why they want to get rid of someone that they perceive is a goat and they don't think can win, I don't know. I think Karishma might be surprised how lopsided the vote was for her. And she did vote Janet, which was interesting that she still went along with what Dan told her.
  10. I feel sorry for Karishma, to a point. I think she has had a hard time fitting in, and whether that's because she didn't try or people didn't try to get to know her, I don't know. Given who she was on a tribe with in the beginning, I can believe it was probably both. She mentioned not being comfortable with the girls swimming and exposing skin due to her culture, and compared them to a sorority (which I totally believe). But I can also see where her woa-is-me attitude was off putting. Was that a result of not feeling like she was a part of the group? Maybe. Maybe this was a lot harder than she expected from every stand point, and she didn't want to openly admit defeat. I will give her credit for hanging in there. And I do think she's been semi impressive in the individual challenges.
  11. I like Karishma, although it's more to the fact that I find pretty much everyone else hard to root for. I like Elaine and Janet (although since the Dan incident, I feel like Janet is a former shell of herself where game play is concerned). Dean and Noura are comedy gold, although I agree with others that Dean seems kind of skeevy, and I lost respect for Noura last night for taking Karishma's belongings and searching them. I don't care if it's not against the rules, I still don't like it, or the people who do it. So I'm not really rooting for them or liking them, just love to see what crazy thing they'll do or say next!
  12. Guess we should have seen this coming. Someone took past Survivor TC and edited in Rob/Sandra reactions from this season.
  13. Since Dan told Karishma the vote was between Elizabeth and Janet, I wonder if she figured that more people would vote for Janet than just her (as is usually the case with split votes), so it wouldn’t matter.
  14. All I can say is, there better be some "fool me once..." soundbite from Dean before playing his fake legacy advantage again. Jamal is probably going to look super confused, and for once I can't wait to see how Rob and Sandra react to that.
  15. Family visit next week. Guessing there won't be time for IOTI. Bigger question is, can Karishma survive? Tommy/Lauren are a solid duo, and everyone else is anti-Karishma. I think Dean and Dan will definitely want her gone.
  16. I liked the look on Tommy's face. He seemed in shock, but I guess he forgot it was HER idol, not his/theirs. I do love that Lauren was on a such high, thinking she brilliantly manipulated her tribe into doing her bidding at the challenge, the look she gave Karishma as she nibbled on her hash browns when she fell out of the challenge, her and Tommy gloating about how they wouldn't need to use the idol tonight...and then it all came crashing down. Guess she isn't as observant as she thinks. I'll give her credit she actually brought it to TC, and while she did play it for nothing, thankfully it's now gone. I hope Karishma manages to find another idol or advantage, or the tide turns in her favor. I agree about Noura. That was a low, especially taking the bag from the camp and dumping it out. I'm so glad she got played. And with Elizabeth out, the big question is-will she do interviews, and if so, will they be e-mail like Missy and Aaron? I think only Parade allowed e-mailed interviews, everyone else wanted to talk to them in person.
  17. God I hope something happens next week to shake up the game. Seeing those 7 boobs just vote out Karishma and continue running the game is kind of nauseating. I especially want to see Dan, Tommy, and Lauren taken out.
  18. I think the plan was to split the vote between Karishma and Elizabeth, and Karishma was told Janet. People must not have been as scared of Elizabeth as they claim to be, because Karishma got all but 2 votes against her. They were concerned about an idol being in play, which is why the split vote. As much as I disliked Elizabeth, I was kind of sorry to see her go. So many people upped the ick and arrogant factor tonight.
  19. The way they describe Karishma is the perfect reason to keep her around until the end. She won't win, even though at this point she's one of my picks. I don't like how people treat her. Dan just said they were splitting the vote and Karishma didn't know she was one of the targets, yet got upset with her because she went to talk to Elizabeth? And believed Lauren's expertise at lip reading? I mean, she wasn't wrong that she saw his name, but still. He just acted like an ass, but considering who I'm talking about, no surprise. Dean is too comical for words. He's another one that, physically, hasn't proven himself. And he's been blindsided twice, and almost voted out because he had no allies. Yet somehow, he's a threat.
  20. Karishma. That's who Dan told her they were splitting the vote with (though I don't know why Karishma didn't go rogue and vote for someone else-but maybe she thought it would be more of a vote split).
  21. Is there anyone left to root for this season? I never thought I would be at the point where Karishma’s one of the few left I’m rooting for, but this group made it possible. And going through people’s belongings need to stop. I don't know what made me more happy that Karishma survived and blindsided everyone: Noura actually taking her bag down the beach and dumping it (and thus thinking that was evidence enough she didn't have an idol), the look on Dan's face after he basically yelled at her for talking to Elizabeth (like Elizabeth didn't know she was on the chopping block), or Lauren getting knocked off her pedestal. I mean, some of those people looked genuinely pissed that Karishma played her idol. And since when did Lauren suddenly become so observant? For the IC, I was disappointed Noura didn’t Noura the situation and end up eating over playing, since I don’t like Tommy or Lauren and didn’t want them to succeed. But she still came through when she didn’t drop, even after she won, so everyone could eat. And I don’t know why everyone is so cared of Elizabeth. She hasn’t even won anything on her own yet. Noura has more immunity wins than her at this point. These “lessons” on IOTI are getting stupider and stupider. I don’t even think Lauren had to try that hard to convince people. The people who sat out probably would have sat out regardless. And it’s adorable that they are still pretending Sandra and Rob are roughing it on the island. Also, I don’t think Dean understands what being a goat in this game is. His fake legacy advantage looks worse than Jamal’s.
  22. I've mentioned before, I always look to see how early TC starts to see if something might be going down. It started a little earlier than normal, so I hoped that meant a Karishma idol play was coming into full swing. Lt. Goat Dean, playing a fake legacy advantage, reporting to Probst to get humiliated. So happy that Karishma screwed up the cool kids plan to oust her. How dare she talk game and not get voted out! But whhhhhhhy not Dan?! He's turning into a Friday the 13th sequel with each week he survives.
  23. So how many Survivor couples does this make? Rob/Amber (perhaps the most well known one), Sebastian/Jenna, Whitney/Keith, Alex (from Amazon)/Kim Powers (Africa), Alec/Kara? I know there's more than that.
