Well, this time last season I was thinking 'no way super fans of the game would reward someone who spent less than 12 days in the actual game and did nothing except get blindsided.' So I guess anything is possible. I guess I'd want Noura just because it'd be hilarious. Dean or Lauren next. Tommy would be my last choice of the 4.
-
Sadly, I agree. I honestly can't think of anything anyone left has done. When Tommy said he's usually deciding who goes home, I was like "really?" Tommy and Lauren just got lucky. If Tommy wins it might be because he's more likable than those left. Or has less blood on his hands. But even when Dean was being a weasel, it benefited his game.
-
I just couldn't get over the grins and smirks at TC when Dean played his nullifier. Even Tommy was hiding a smile there for a minute.
-
Well, thank you for breaking in during a commercial. I just hope by "not missing a minute of Survivor" doesn't mean they are going to drag this out. Janet, Elaine, and Kellee I hope are asked back for future seasons.
-
You know who else loves the nullifier Probst? You.
-
This has to be the worst final 4 ever.
-
And there's Dean smiling. Smack him Janet. Smack them all!
-
I wish Dean would throw Tommy under the bus and tell Janet he told him she had an idol, and knew about the nullifier.
-
Can we just get this over with? Poor Janet. And there's Elaine. Who should have been sitting here. So I wonder if they are going to leave more time for the reunion this year. 45 minutes in and we still have this boot, the next challenge, the fire making TC, and then the final 3 TC.
-
So my guess-Dean might play his idol on Lauren, Tommy, or Noura for jury management. He uses his nullifier on Janet and she goes home. I really don't think the jury is going to be that impressed with this move.
-
And now Tommy says Dean is a smart person. And Lauren says her fate is in Dean's hands. I don't know what scenario is scarier.
-
Oh Janet. I'm already crying that your idol is no good. ETA: Oh boy, and Janet is saying to put all the votes on her so she can play her idol, and she'll vote Noura. This is not good.
-
I don't think Dean had a date in mind when he picked Noura. This...is weird.
-
Maybe he's Wardog's long lost son?
-
So does this mean Dean will use his idol on someone? Any chance he offers immunity to someone at TC so he can play his HII for resume points, misunderstands the nullifier directions, and votes himself out? And Dean, you will always be a goat. Ooh, good point. Maybe they did the same IC for a re-take and then edited in the footage without Dan?
-
Tommy and Dean are the two I like the least, so it says something when I was screaming for Tommy to win immunity. Unfortunately, the Survivor Gods didn't hear me. So Dean has immunity, a nullifier, and an idol. Why did he suddenly have to get so lucky?
-
Dean's fake advantage was only good until the final 6-which again, is another reason to hate Dan because he robbed us of Dean making perhaps the biggest blunder in Survivor history. And now he's in the final 5 with a nullifier, he knows Janet has an idol, and now he has one.
-
And thinks he's a villain and can teach Tommy the teacher college algebra. Also, where did the nickname DKchillin suddenly come from?
-
So this is really the opening of the episode? 10+ minutes of Dean and Tommy walking aimlessly and talking about clues and trust and betraying each other. Okay, I take that back. Dopey Dean did find it. We don't get to see him humiliate himself with a fake advantage, but he's got two powerful advantages now.
-
So Rob built the shelter, and color blind Tommy found what he couldn't before? Well, at least Noura's having fun with the chickens. I have a love/hate relationship with advantages and idols, but they should not be introduced in the game at the final 5. And Dean has been no help? What a surprise!
-
So, we're still pretending that Rob actually built that shelter? And one sign that the finale is already going down the tubes, Janet apparently just walked over an advantage and Tommy got it. Oh well, at least it wasn't Dean.
-
Lol, no your not. There's enough networks that people can watch for the vote, and we already know what's going to happen. I was already annoyed thinking that I was going to be up until 1 am watching this shit show of a season end. And honestly, I only care about the reunion for once. Show that first and then I could care less.
-
How is it that Tommy doesn't look any different, and Rob somehow looks worse? Tommy's also the only one who didn't look happy. And I just realized, Tommy is the only one who hasn't been to IOTI yet.

I wish they’d fill the audience with alumni of Probst hecklers, like Jonny FairPlay, Shane Powers, Max Dawson. As others have said, I hope the reunion goes one way and that Probst keeps his big mouth out of most of it. But I know he’s going to want to be the hero. I just hope it’s not awkward where they talk about Dan, and then “so, first boot, in 30 seconds how you feeling about your time on the island.” It’s interesting, too, that there’s still no word about Survivor lasting beyond S40.

I don’t know, I consider it the same thing, but also not really. Brandon was trying to get ejected or at least voted off. He still got voted off, even if they were going to make him leave. I also think he might have quit. So it’s a vote off/quit/eject in my opinion. I think Dan’s ejection is in a different league. What is the same is that both were uninvited to the reunion. And let’s not forget how they made the pre jurors sit in the audience (because they claimed they were testing out a new stage), but it was really so Brandon’s absence wouldn’t be noticed and they could ignore the incident in question.
