  1. Three episodes in and I’m still waiting for someone from Makayla’s family to explain what *exactly* Caelan is doing that they don’t like. Because if he wasn’t working to pay bills and provide a house for his kids they’d complain about that too.
  2. Is there a list or photo collage of the returning veterans? I have the rookies/TCC’s. Thanks!
  3. Refresh my memory: why didn’t Karine come to the US?
  4. You KNOW Kody was in bed sporting something like this: https://www.mother.ly/news/device-allows-dads-to-breastfeed
  5. I was VERY impressed with Gabe in his talking head. Articulate, logical and thoughtful. He’s a smart kid and I feel bad for him.
  6. Hold up. Kody wants to live in a conservative state with conservative values because those are their beliefs. But they want a liberal city to live in because they’re a liberal family. So.......tolerate me and my shit-show family. But we reserve the right to pass judgement on others. Got it.
  7. I get such a creepy vibe from the Snowden’s. Feel like wife #2 is going to be rescued from their basement in 10 years.
  8. I don’t remember who said it here first, but with hindsight being 20/20 I suspect K&J regret some of the cuts they made last year because in the end it bit them in the ass. Coupled with two DCC legacies with close, personal ties to the organization I can easily see why they’re struggling to make cuts that we (the armchair observers) see as obvious. There are to many hands in the pot because K&J are putting their faith in others rather than trusting their gut. They are human and this is a subjective process.
  9. Thanks! I live in N. Phoenix.....not nearly as familiar with the E. Valley as I could/should be.
  10. This is where they did the dolphin experience. It’s not cheap, and given the size of their group I wonder if the producers (or the attraction) comped/discounted the tickets. I believe Chloe lives in the East Valley (Gilbert/Tempe/Mesa). This is in Scottsdale on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian reservation. (I work nearby). https://www.dolphinaris-arizona.com/ I don’t fault the family for doing this, regardless of who foot the bill. They clearly love their kids and the excitement from the parents and Brooklyn was genuine. To each their own.
  11. I don’t disagree. However, the only thing worse than being 40 weeks pregnant in Phoenix in the summer is being 40 weeks pregnant in Phoenix in the summer with twins. I speak from experience.
  12. Horrified by Anna’s parents and their inability maturely to discuss sex, contraception and biology with their daughters. Boo-hoo.....you’re “horrified” and “nauseated” that you have to have this discussion in the first place. Here’s a revelation: maybe if you put your big-kid panties and HAD the conversation you wouldn’t have a pregnant, 17 year old and a 15 year old who I am *guessing* is sleeping with her boyfriends too.
  13. The clip of Dayton was hard to watch. What a talented and gracious young woman she is. Wishing her nothing but success and happiness.
  14. This! Furthermore, the grandparents wouldn’t let McKayla and Timmy move in with Shannon because McKayla was still a minor (and the house was a disaster)....but NO ONE was willing to sit her down and say “you need to do something to prevent another pregnancy.” I understand that at a certain point you can’t force kids to do anything. But come on.
  15. Putting this out in the universe.....Keli and Judy clearly didn’t have a problem with Malena missing the alumni practice session (which was being filmed) and may have excused her from other activities too. But Daphne was unable to take time off from training camp for her college graduation? it just seems odd. There are GOOD reasons to make exceptions and that’s one of them. Makes me wonder if there was something else going on.
  16. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I HATE the Jay/power-squad/Cowboys Fit segments. Even now, when I rewatch past seasons on CMT those are the only scenes I fast-forward. I get it. The women need to be toned and fit for the uniform. But these segments are awful. Not to mention the fact that it’s hard to take the fitness suggestions seriously when everyone is in full hair and make-up.
  17. There’s something “off” about Laura’s parents. The dad seems terrified? And the mom has the flattest affect I’ve ever seen. Like she’s dead inside. And who tells their kid, “You don’t require a lot of attention?”
  18. It’s probably just a bad angle, but is Jenna pregnant?
  19. In other words, there were other factors taken into consideration beyond what we saw on TV.
  20. I love this show and I have been faithfully watching since the initial 2-hour special. Like every other reality show I know this: what we’re seeing is a tiny FRACTION of what goes on behind the scenes and what little we do see is open to interpretation by the editors. It’s highly doubtful that the only reason Keyra was cut was for tradiness. Or that the only reason VK advanced was because she as is a legacy. It’s still a reality TV show. Take what you see with a grain of salt.
  21. Checking into the hospital after midnight for an induction is actually fairly common. I had an induction scheduled with my first child since he was overdue; we were instructed to call the hospital at midnight and they would let us know if they had a bed, and went to come in. In the end we didn’t need the induction because I went into labor on my own. But like the woman on the show I was 10 days overdue. This wasn’t an elective induction either.
  22. Because Kelli and Judy are actually in training camp and watching these girls. They see/know far more than we do as fans.
  23. I cringe every time someone from the Cowboys talks about “emptying their bucket.” When my kids were in kindergarten they read the book “How Full is Your Bucket” and used it as a guide for how they should treat one another. In a nutshell, you fill someone’s bucket by treating them with kindess and respect; you empty someone’s bucket when you are unkind with your words and actions. Emptying your bucket (or someone else’s) is a negative thing. I understand how Kelly, Charlotte et. al., use the phrase on the show, but they’re missing the point. How Full Is Your Bucket? For Kids https://www.amazon.com/dp/1595620273/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_GVm7zb6122AKB
