  1. I was checking out his teeth. Can't help it when he's a dentist. They looked clean and straight, but they are a natural color, not bleached to Hollywood White Xtreme. That's not so surprising, since whitening your teeth is bad mmmkay? Most dentist know that. I took that to mean Austin is the tall, strong burly "horse", while Jason was the spritely jockey and they probably could work well together. It reminded me of the the Mad Maxx movie Beyond Thunderdome, with the characters Master and Blaster who were a duo consisting of a huge musclebound guy who carried a smart. quick little guy on his shoulders and they worked as one entity. Brain and Brawn. I kept seeing those two talking alone together. The poker dealer, Devonne (?) (how can you remember names so early?) Her intuition has failed her so far. Once last night with Audrey's story of her families reaction to her sexual identity and tonight she didn't believe that one guy was really a dentist. Wrong! Just deal the cards 'kay? You're not skilled at reading people. Jace hopefully will be one of the first to be voted out. He's a full on phony and I think people will pick up on that. He will spread himself too thin and will bite him in the ass, but then again Andy was a more toned down yes man, ass kisser, friendly all-around guy, so maybe.... Yep, usually BB is filled with muscle bound, pretty boy actor wannabe males and this year, none. Clay, who just your average, decent looking guy will be one of the last 5 people left in the house. The women won't want to get rid of eye candy guy, unless he turns out to be a full fledged ass. I would try to gain an alliance with Master & Blaster (Austin & Jason (?)), Vanessa, Liz and maybe Country Joe or math nerd guy and knock out Amazing race couple, who didn't impress me. I gave up on that show years ago, so I'm unfamiliar with them.
  2. Battle of the Block and the new Takeover(?) Twist basically mean that there is absolutely no strategy to this game because there are no rules. Surprises happen. So, how do you play Big Brother? Schmooze with production during diary room moments. Be the housemate that's fun on camera. BB staff, camera operators, production and especially Grodner now like you and all the twists will miraculously bend your way. LOL Just kidding....or am I Anyway, if I had to guess just by what I saw tonight, who I feel has the best chance of winning BB? I'd say Austin/Judas. He'll be good a competitions. You have to be in great shape to be a wrestler. He remained subdued on the first night, which is smart. Case the joint and observe everyone. And I really don't know much about master degrees of Medieval Romance Lit, but I'd assume he's articulate, well-spoken and can use 3 dollar words to manipulate. What's with skateboarder guy Jace desperate to be the center of attention? He could not sit his ass down in the living room and wouldn't shut the F up. His whole persona screams "LOOK AT ME!!!" Shelli might be a contender, unless she falls into a Texas A&M footballer romance. I feel like Asian country boy, James (?) will be everyones aquaintance, but no one's alliance. If I was a brand new female going into the BB house, I'd be analyzing the hell out of all the females, and pick a she-alliance fast, just like they did. How many seasons has it been where the boys hooked up immediately and it paid off for them, at least for awhile and sometimes to the end? I was unaware there was a transgendered person entering the house, so I had no idea about Audrey, but I was turned off initially by her girl power and sparkly high heels. Once she revealed her secret, the super girly thing made more sense. Everyone responded well to her trans-ness in a "golly gee that's just great" Eddie Haskell kind of way, but I foresee some snide remarks will slip out once they get comfortable with the cameras.
  3. I kept noticing Farrah's nods of approval when Debra or Michael recited the script correctly. This liquid facelifts aren't going to buy themselves Debra. And I'm shocked that Michael cheated on Debra. Even though their relationship was "toxic" I can't see him trolling for an outside piece. I feel like 5 or 10 years from now, Farrah will fall and fall hard. She won't be young forever and the plastic surgery is already making her look freakish. I don't think Teen Mom 1 will air anymore seasons after this and she will quickly become a "has been". The offers will dry up as well as the money, Sophia will be an out of control pre-teen and her parents won't be at her beck and call for fear of losing contact with Sophia or for financial backing for crappy sauces. Once you make big money, it's hard to go back to living hand to mouth, so I think she will end up doing hardcore porn as a way to keep the money flowing and won't be able to play the victim card anymore. I just feel she's headed for a horrible future.
  4. So here was Amber's segment in a nut shell. Drew: So if it looks like a ducks, quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. Do you agree, Amber? Amber: BUT WE'RE HAPPY!!! Bubba: I think it's a duck. Drew: Bubba, have you told them that? Bubba: Not yet. (Turns to Matt) You're a duck. Amber: But WE'RE HAPPY!!! Drew: Matt, what would your sober coach say right now. Matt: That I'm a duck. Drew: Yes, that's why it's so concerning. Amber: BUT WE'RE HAPPY!!!!!! (storms off stage)
  5. In looking at the property tax and title information on the house, it was owned by a couple named Sugars. They are local to the area and I googled around to see if indeed they are professional rehabbers and I found nothing. The mister works for the local utility company. Not sure what the Misses does. But I did run across a very sad death notice of one of their kids that when I did the math, appeared to have been Tyler's and Cate's age, so I wonder if they were friends previously. But yes, the house was purchased from the Sugars through a land trust. It is baffling that they didn't or couldn't purchase their home for cash. And $35,000 for a 1500 square foot home is CHEAP. Even in their city. Where is all their MTV money? Buying lawyers for Butch? Cars obviously. Did they buy April her home? I can't see Tyler's mom being ok with spending her sons money. In last night episode, I saw a Bunn coffee make on their counter. Aren't those a bit pricey? As far as the updated bathroom. I live about an hour from Tyler & Cate and just dealt with buying and selling my homes last year. That ugly Italian brown tile was in practically every "updated" house I looked at. It must sell for cheap at Home Depot. Also, in their city which is St. Claire, MI, along their street going east towards the water, 99 percent of the homes are well kept up and landscaped. Some of those homes are from the late 1800's. Seems like Tyler & Cate's is the dumpiest looking one. I think the original Teen Mom's 15 minutes are just about up with this last season and they are due for a rude financial awakening when they become "has beens". Well, except for Farrah. She will continue her cash flow signing on with Vivid Porn or whoever and I predict in ten years she will be a mess inside and out. Poor Sophie. She doesn't stand a chance.
  6. I'm two pages too late, but here's a closer look at Cate & Tyler's house. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1101-Clinton-Ave-Saint-Clair-MI-48079/77910182_zpid/
  7. I'm looking to sell my home and buy another, so I was researching local real estate agents online. Who's is now in the real estate business? Dan Gheesling. No surprise since he's from my town, but I guess a half a mil doesn't go far. I decided against hiring him as my agent. Too distracting
  8. I agree Applecrisp regarding the latest episode of Fear Thy Neighbor. Why wasn't the city more involved in dealing with this crazy guy? Why was he allowed to erect that hideous fence? I doubt it was in compliance with zoning laws. Plus you know he was the one filing countless unsubstantiated complaints against his neighbor. The city should have put a stop to it. I need to send a petition to the producers of the ID channel and I hope you'll all agree and sign it. Please stop airing that God-awful commercial for Houses of Horror. You know the one, showing the man sitting in his recliner, sipping his wine, listening to his classical music: while the woman is locked up in his basement as she squeaks out a pitiful cry for help. Ugh! It just annoys me.
  9. I've always been a Maci defender, but when she said, "You can film MEE!!" I suddenly got what you all are saying. Bentley is the best part of the Maci segments, along with Ryan's parents, so now I guess I'll be fast forwarding through. Because of Maci "taking a stand" regarding filming with Farrah, it's doing the opposite of what she had hoped. People are not exactly defending Farrah, but excusing her behavior which makes her look not so bad. Here's a sarcastic THANK YOU to Maci for making that happen. The part where Cate & Tyler are talking while holding Nova, where Cate says something and starts to cry I cannot understand what she says. I rewound that part over and over and i have no idea what she blurts out. Can you all help me?
  10. You know Miss Mouthy is going to brag until the end of time how she made it through the whole 21 days on Naked & Afraid. "Have you ever seen that show? No? Oh well, lemme tell you all about it. I am such a bad ass! I survived the full 21 days with nothing but my bad ass hunting skills and my sharp mental toughness. Lots of people fail on that show, but not me. You don't want to fuck with me, because I can live with out nothing,,,you hear me? NOTHING!! for 21 whole days, because I did it before...blah blah blah....ad nausea..." But she will conveniently omit how her partner carried her the whole way while she pissed and moaned and was a miserable harpy. She would have quit after day 4 if she didn't have such a mentally strong and capable partner. It just affirms what I've already learned in life, the more someone brags, the more they are full of poop. I knew in the first 2 minutes (disregarding the preview) she would be a mess. The ones you have to watch out for in life are the quiet observant ones. They usually follow through and don't need to brag to show their skills. Great job Steve!!
  11. First of all, Ryan has aged quite a bit. LOL @ his friend asking if he own Farrah vag & booty hole fleshlight. Also, fake editing and drama first showing Cate scarfing down that chicken at her shower then showing her glucose reading at 107. I had gestational diabetes and 107 is a good number. I don't like how in last weeks episode, Amber (Ambie?) is all sad and lonely, then BAM she's got a live in boyfriend that Gary has already met. When Boston Boyfriend "confronted" Gary, I just knew Gary would be the type to fall like a house of cards. "Oh, I just like to joke around." then when someone gets in his face, he's all wide-eyed and turns into a wimp. Can someone give me a confirmed answer on how much money these chicks actually get paid for doing this show? How much did farrah actually get for her pornos and books? I'm just curious how much money they really have, because I feel like they (especially Farrah) are going to be broke very fast at the level they are spending. I mean, are they multi millionaires? How much are they paid to do talks at colleges? Which in my opinion is so stupid, what kind of college would want any these girls do a talk? Are they positive role models that young women should strive to emulate? Please! Editted to add. I didn't carefor the way Sophia was acting, talking about her boyfriend and "Oh I broke up with him. ...blah blah blah...." She's is totally emulating her mother and the diva boy crazy act is not cute on a 6 year old. She's putting a huge importance on boys and how she plays them like a fiddle.farrah acts like she has men clamboring to fall in love and be with her when they probably just want a one night stand for bragging rights, but farrah doesn't realize this. Sorry for bad typing....cell phones suck.
  12. I don't see what the big deal was with Dorinda and her faux pas at the restaurant. I don't think she thought the gentleman was a coat check attendant, but just part of the staff. He did have on dark pants with a white shirt, which is standard garb for restaurant workers. Is it somehow an extra big deal because the guy was black? Why would that be any different? When she realized her mistake, she profusely apologized, the man graciously accepted and life moved on. No biggie. I'm sure we've all made the mistake of assuming someone was an employee of an establishment. Plus, with her story of the man in the wheel chair. She mentioned it as a comparison because it was so awfully stupid and embarrassing. She completely owned her lapse in judgement. Mighty human of her. I also did like that she pointed out how rude it is to take a phone call while having lunch with others. Too many people need lessons in cell phone etiquette. I don't see any real love and attraction from her towards her boyfriend, plus he knew he was busted at the pick up joint, so I don't see this love affair lasting much longer. Anyway, I was a long time defender of Bethany, but now she needs to shut the fuck up. I think she's losing fans with each and every episode. Please don't make me hate Heather this season Bravo editors. I agree with others, Carol is a passive-aggressive mean girl. At certain angles and if she's not smiling, she looks very old. My cold heart is melting for Ramona a bit. She was extremely loyal to Mario. Poor Avery too. I can't imagine how she's feeling, having her father/daughter bond shattered by his disrespectful actions. Kristen's getting pushed to the background. Too many women this year.
  13. I have to say, I just loved Eileen all season. The clincher that sealed my love for her was when she said she drives a Flex. I am one of three generations of a Ford family and that company puts food on my table, so good on you Eileen. Her comebacks are calm, rational and dead on. I do believe Brandy is absolutely jealous of her life. I hope she does decide to come back next season because I will miss her of she doesn't. Kyle mentioned Brandy having problems with other celebrities like Kenya Moore on The Apprentice and Jay Mohr. What was the problem she had with Jay Mohr? I missed that one. Alexa gets $450 a month allowance? Did I hear that right? It's all play money since all her needs are paid for by mom & dad. What could she possibly spend that much on? She doesn't have to put some away in a bank account to save for a car, since I'm sure she'll get one for a birthday present. And no, I don't believe Kyle's kids have touched a washing machine yet.
  14. Where can I watch this Aftershow? When did they air it? Will they have an Aftershow for every episode? Also want to add, this show now has their own built in Panda Face with that annoying producer holding that clap board thingie and looking at Amber like, "oh poor you!" She's got the sympathetic Panda face look down pat. I won't give Ryan any excuses. I'm tired of his pissy, pinched up face. If you hate the cameras so much, then walk away from the show. Simple as that. MTV can figure a way to film around you. If Bentley did in fact whisper to Grandpa Larry that his real home is at his moms, it may be his 5 year old way of saying, he wishes he felt as close to dad as he does to Mom. Pinched up Ryan takes it completely wrong and acts like hugging his little sons is the biggest pain in the ass. Plus, it seemed like Bentley was kind of scared and uncomfortable around Ryan. Is Ryan an only child? I think his parents may have coddled him and never punished him as a kid when he got lippy. That's why I make sure to discipline my cute little boy when he gets mouthy and disrespectful, because it's not so cute when they grow up to be that way and by then it's too late to fix it. At least Ryan's parents seem like good grandparents. There will come a day, 10-20 years from now, when Ryan sees those clips of him constantly looking like he's constipated and he will be throughly embarrassed. These Teen Mom videos will never go away and will haunt him later in life. He will see why his now grown son doesn't ever want to see him. If I was Kristina's ex-husband, I wouldn't want my kid on TV either. Good on him.
  15. I watched a portion of The Mind of a Murderer last night. For the most part it was boring, but one thing stuck out to me. Michelle ward said that decades of research has now proven that a very accurate predictor of aggressive and/ or criminal behavior is a low resting heart rate. I thought WTF? Really? So I did a bit of research on the net and there are countless articles about how in the past decade, research has discovered many physical traits of potential psychopaths. Much of what determines a persons personality is purely physical. As a mom, this was very interesting to me. Imagine in the future, as soon as someone is born, we may be able to test someone at birth for positive characteristics of psychopathic tendencies. If these things are identified early, there are many things that can be done to divert this behavior. One thing, I was glad to hear, was a positive relationship with one's mother and well as other nurturing exposures. So is a killer born or made? Nature vs. nurture? Science is proving that yes, killers may be born that way, but can be "cured" if caught early enough. Not sure if I'm allowed to post any links, but this article I read, says it better than I can, and I found it truly fascinating. Someday in the future, we may be able to control killer tendencies and greatly reduce criminal activity. Here's the link. Moderators, delete if it's not allowed and slap me on the knuckles with a ruler. http://www.amren.com/features/2013/07/born-to-kill/
  16. I'm old too. I had to look up oovoo.
  17. Maybe that was her attempt to try to show how much she "cared" for her friend so that they wouldn't consider her as a suspect. Plus, maybe some guilt set in after the fact. This is the kind of stuff that scares me as a parent. My kid could get seriously hurt or even killed if some friend decides they don't like him. Or he might become attracted to the "dangerous" type of friend who can easily talk him into doing bad things.
  18. The girls killed Skylar Neese because...well..."We didn't like her." Did these psychopaths ever consider other options, like...oh I don't know, NOT HANGING OUT WITH HER?! As a teen, I outgrew some friends and even though it was awkward because people got their feelings hurt, my ex- friends are still alive today. I'm sad for her parents, especially since she was their only child. What a terrible reason to die, because some nitwits girls decided they didn't like you anymore.
  19. I just watched that episode last night. Yes, that mom pissed me off too. But she had no problem going on the show to tell her story, so I doubt she feels like she's at fault. When the mom stopped over her daughters place and saw that a guy was there, especially how the daughter and guy were disrespecting the mom, I'd have immediately stopped paying rent on the place and got their asses kicked out. I assume the mom was paying for it, right? No one who lived there had a job. I think the mom didn't want to be bothered with her daughter anymore. She knew her daughter was off her meds and being manipulated by this strange guy, yet did nothing, even when the daughter gave big hints that she wanted to come home. Just hearing that part last night made me vow to myself never to be too busy when my son ever asks for my help, no matter how old he is. Also, the other people that were staying at the house actually peeped in the room a couple times while the girl was being stabbed and strangled, yet did nothing. WTF! The one guy said on camera, "I was afraid, if I interfered, what he'd do to me." Dude! There were like 4 people down stairs against the one guy. You could have all taken him on. What a bunch of useless lumps, including the mom. Oh, also the step daughter the interviewed too. She states at the end that the victim was her best friend. Really? Didn't you ever go visit with her or offer her a place of refuge for awhile like normal best friends do? No, you did not. Another useless lump.
  20. Sorry for the posting frenzy, but I found the latest catch up special on MTV.com They're called Getting To Know You Farrah/ Amber/ Maci/ Catelynn. I've watched the first 10 minutes of Farrah's in HD and OMG she is scary looking! Those horribly fake teeth and the swollen lips that are as hard as cement and don't move right. Her skin/ makeup is like the work of an undertaker. Way too matte and not the color of normal skin. She is sincerely creepy. Debra does look better, but remove the feather and a little pressed powder does wonders for facial shine. Michael needs some teeth whitening. They might look normal with regular looking people, but compared to Farrah's bright headlight teeth, his look dingy. And sorry to say, because it's not her fault, but Sophia has grown out of her cuteness. The MTV people that were setting up with Farrah and family all must've taken a course in Ass Kissing 101 because they were treating Farrah like Queen B and she was eating it up.
  21. I watched several of the old episodes from the marathon airing last night. Just reflecting on certain parts, looking at them from a different point of view now that I'm a mom and knowing how things turned out several years after the fact: Amber is just a completely difficult person all around. Even though Gary is annoying in his own way, I give him a lot of credit in dealing with Amber when Leah Leah LeAnn was first born. I watched the meatloaf Cracker Barrel episode and I thought it was a sweet gesture. Then he offers to move back in with his mom so Amber and Leah can have the apartment that he's paying all the bills on. Then or course seeing her pounding on Gary while he silently takes it, Amber's dad sticking his nose in and berating Gary because he didn't answer the phone. I was feeling sorry for him. Then watching the Maci and Ryan dynamic. I share custody of my son with an ex-boyfriend and our situations are similar. I find that Maci says a lot of things that I've said myself in regard to dealing with the dad of my child. "He gets to be the fun dad while i have to do everything else. He can slack off parenting responsibilities, because he knows it will somehow get done by me...etc" I have a soft spot for Catelynn and Tyler since I live a couple counties over from them. I don't know much about updates, but I hope they have steered clear of Butch and April. Butch is just a clueless idiot and I want to punch that pissy look off Aprils face. It doesn't surprise me that Catelynn can be so needy. I can't imagine being a mom and treating my child like she does.
  22. I also wonder about the husbands/ wives who are the enablers of these people. It doesn't seem like many of them have a job. I wonder if the obese person somehow gets disability benefits and their partner subconsciously enables them to keep the "free money' coming in. Just a thought.
  23. I'm confused. I know they had the "Being Maci/ Amber/ Katelynn/Farrah specials awhile back and I just watched the Catch Up show with those three. I feel I've missed something. Was there another special that aired? Where is all this other Farrah footage (Debra with a facelift & feather) coming from? I watched those hour long shows of each girls ages ago. Did I just block out all the content? Part of me is tired of the whole quasi-celeb crap while the other part fights to DVR every second...God help me.
  24. I'm sad that this thread isn't more active. I LIVE off of true crime shows. Yes, I'm the creepy one in the family. Anyway, I know some of you don't like it, but I really like The Mind of a Murderer. I'm fascinated at the "play by play" aspect of it, seeing things from a psychological point of view. The denial these convicts have and the body language and how they try to BS their way out of things. It's always someone else's fault that they ended up killing. I know people like that in real life, who blame everyone else. I'm a fan of Michelle Ward. I read up on her and she has some impressive credentials. The guy last night who killed his mom, the guy had zero feelings. he was just a ball of anger. Michelle Ward seemed to think he was just born that way. Things like that scare me since I have a little son and sometimes genetics is all it takes to become a person to be feared in society. I felt sorry for his daughter that was interviewed, but I don't understand the victim (his own mother). Why was she still trying to "mother" him and get him to change his ways? He's well into middle age and still a raging asshole. He's never gonna change. He scared me from behind the jail glass. he just had that evil/ no soul look in his eyes. Yes, you will always love your son, but if he was mine, I'd tread lightly. Funny how after he strangled her he found a way to blame her for it. "She was always trying to get me arrested and she finally succeeded when I killed her, that bitch!"
  25. One thing some of these episodes show me is that there is a lid for every pot and people of all shapes and sizes can find someone to love them. Laura was very fortunate she has a caring boyfriend who really seems to love her. I'm a single woman trying to lose a few pounds and look my best physically before I can get back out into the dating scene. Whenever I feel like i may never find a good guy, this show reminds me I might be a great match for someone out there.
