  1. One thing else.....no automatic 10's for everyone's Free Style. No way Bobby's should have scored 30.
  2. I understand Bobby was extremely successful in his field and beloved. That is not the point. It sounds like he has had a great career and congrats on that. The point is that for those of us who appreciate the dancing on the show and like to see the deserved best dancer win, he was not that. It's just disappointing to a lot of us that this came down to a popularity contest.
  3. I had the same reaction to this win as the "non DWTS" one in 2016. Just stunned. Knew it "could" happen but had enough faith that it wouldn't. I had never heard of Bobby before. I just don't get it. He doesn't even seem that likeable. At least Joe admitted he wasn't a good dancer and acted astonished that he kept moving on. This guy actually acts like he deserves it over the ones who were legitimate dancers.
  4. Plus, wasn't Delucca just last season going through reconnecting and breaking up with the love of his life? He sure got over that relationship in a hurry. I know they need a love interest for Meredith but why not bring in a new "doctor" that is a little older with some life experience. I know they did that with the guy that she lost to his "dead" wife coming back and DeLucca is more cost effective but can we get real here? Plus Meredith does have 3 kids. Hell yeah that is a factor that no one seems to bring up.
  5. Avery, if you still had feelings for your ex-wife, why finalize the divorce? If you aren't ready for a new relationship, why take a risk with your "step-sister" when you know if it doesn't work, all hell will come down on you and you can only be the bad guy with everyone in your family. At least have a few non-serious relationships until you do know where your head is.
  6. With the new format and everything so rushed I never felt like I got to know the contestants this year. Like Adam said, it was too soon to cut down. So, not surprised I didn't care as much as usual about the ones being voted off. This season just seems "off".
  7. If Leida really wants to go to medical school in the US she will definitely have to "let" her rich family pay for it. Really, there is nothing wrong with that if they are willing. To expect her future husband to pay for that is laughable as she must have realized the moment she walked into that apartment. To not make sure the place was at least clean and welcoming (no matter how small it is) is just wrong. Is he that clueless? Why do these Americans pretend they are rich or let their "fiancees" assume they are. Reality is always going to be a bitch or do they think they will already be in love with them by the time they make it to the USA and see their new reality?
  8. I think if it continues it will definitely be creepy weird. How many teenage girls are that affectionate with their stepfather? Most dream about their real Dads coming back in their life. Olive's semi-rejection of her Dad doesn't ring true. Let the real father take his rightful place. Olive is almost an adult...it will be close to almost dating if they continue this relationship in the future.
  9. VERY rushed format. It is hard to remember the performances this way. It is all a blur. The one that stood out to me was the last performance. Can't remember her name but it was a cut above the others.
  10. It's totally ridiculous...why would she worry LESS by NOT knowing he was OK every night by separating. You would think she would have the double worry of IF he is OK and what he is doing with his free time. Plus, why can't he follow his dream of being a firefighter. She has had her career that he supported where (even if not dangerous) she is rarely at home.
  11. What is sad (for Joe) is all of these killings for Beck were ultimately unnecessary. Benji didn't see Beck as anything else but a bootie call, Beck didn't always listen to Peach's advise, the affair with the Dr was already over and most of all, she was finally in love with him. Not a smooth love story, but it could have worked for awhile at least. Of course his dark side would have eventually came out.
  12. I'm not sure how they can get a full series out of this. I can see the initial update and get-together, but then it should fast forward to after the baby is born for another update. It sure does seem like the "experts" are going out of their way to create drama for the show. Stop with the ratings. Normal couples don't do that. There can never be a good outcome.
  13. A great comparison, although at least Joe is there for his own "fame" (he's definitely not the first reality star here with no other talent) while Bristol was only there because she was related to someone polarizing/famous.
  14. The show has to have drama to get people to watch. Having to give a rating to your spouse is not a good thing....it is an exercise to provide conflict for the show.
  15. The whole show has become an advertisement for the HWs and other Bravo shows. The last thing I want to see is clips from those shows. I really enjoy the show when there are non-Bravo guests who spill info not normally talked about. That is the strength. But those shows are becoming rare.
  16. I really liked Fernanda too! I think her fiancé's friends are seeing her as a novelty act or entertainment and that their welcome is not exactly genuine. Especially with the "wall" and other remarks. Jeez, you have to show your political leanings the first time you meet her. She seems the type who will stick up for herself at least. I am rooting for her, even though it is very possible they crash and burn and she returns home. Larissa is complaining about Vegas not being like New York or Beverly Hills? LV is not exactly small town America. There are a LOT of opportunities for her there. I think once she meets "Mom" she will have a lot more to complain about than that. Not having AC in Vegas in insane....I do agree with her there.
  17. I see lots of red flags that Danny cannot let the family reunite and have their time together without him texting her and coming over. Grace made her choice and he should bow out for now. If things don't work out then maybe in the future they can reunite. Playing the Daddy card is pretty low and ridiculous for a teenager especially since they are kinda touchy feely anyway. Yes I know Olive called him but he should have said "call your Dad".
  18. I'm also wondering what the ex-wife's situation is and why the 19 year old doesn't just move back with her Mom at least for now. The problem is, foreign women and men think of America as the American dream and do not comprehend that they will be living in small towns in Wisconsin and other places that are not NYC. Not to mention, they assume their American has unlimited $$$. I am also assuming when the Americans on this show are wooing their spouse-to-be they probably exaggerate their situation at home to make it more enticing. Then reality hits in. Recipe for disaster and the reason this show exists!
  19. There is a HUGE difference between Master P and Joe. Granted both are probably the worst dancers ever on this show, but at least Joe TRIES. Master P barely moved and gave attitude at the same time, even refusing to wear proper shoes. Joe is doing his job the best he can but just sucks at dancing (like a lot of us). He is surprised as any of us that he is still there. I really think they put Jordan on that team to get even lower scores to get rid of him. Unlike most contestants he has no performance background of ANY kind. Even former Bachelors that have been on this show before were the leads of their show.
  20. How old IS the oldest girl and how often does she even have her now? Since she's pretty much made up her mind that she has chosen Jon by marrying him (knowing the chances are not good he will be allowed in USA), why not move to England with Lucy and visit her daughter in the USA for a week or two every few months (basically the reverse of what she is doing now). That is, IF she can get a spousal Visa to live and work in England. The oldest daughter will eventually be old enough to visit England with or without Dad's approval. Of course if the relationship does not work out, it may work itself out anyway! They both need to get really decent jobs to make it work.
  21. Why is decision day such a big deal? They are married and whether they decide to divorce now or give it a chance and end up divorcing a year from now if it doesn't work out. What is the difference.....paid for lawyers fees perhaps?
  22. Not sure it is even all Bachelor Nation. There have always been voters on this show that always vote for the one who gets the lowest score, especially when it comes with harsh comments from the judges. You know, the underdog. Some of the worst contestants have made it pretty far.
  23. OK Trace can't have the bands he wants at his own bar and he can't make a living "following his dream" because he won't be there for Abby, even though she has a career and kids and probably doesn't have a lot of time for him anyway. This is his prime time if he is going to make it in music. It's not like he has already made it and he can choose to retire to spend more time with her. I imagine they will break up and we will start all over again next season with them getting back together. For one thing, he should try to make enough money to buy out Abby's Dad. Never a good idea to go into business with family or friends.
  24. Why does this show have to be so incestuous. Its bad enough that Maggie is dating her stepbrother (yes I know not biological) but now Meredith is most likely going to hook up with Maggie's ex boy toy? Their relationship wasn't much more than that and most likely wont be more than that for Meredith/Andrew either. Expand your dating pool people! Surely you must meet people who are not Doctors in your own hospital from time to time. Really Owen and Amelia again? What I'd really like is for Cristina to come back and shake things up.
  25. Thanks for the explanation! I had Wife #1 and Wife #2 mixed up.
