  1. TBH Jeremy might have enjoyed the TM2 *celebrity* while he was on the show but it didn't seem to be on "work time". IIRC he was mostly filmed on weekends or at home or whatever. So apart from the fact that the reunions basically glorify the moms and trash the dads, he might not have wanted to explain that he had to take a few days off to attend a reality TV show reunion about his batsh*t crazy ex wife.
  2. So it sounds like the Duggars have become more liberal, selfless and intelligent. Or not.
  3. I don't even remember that one but stealing clothes seems to be a thing on this show! Jeremy and his shorts, Jenelle and her hoodie...
  4. There are circumstances where I think that it can be unfair, the way that a step-parent and child relationship often isn't recognized in court (here at least anyway). But in this case my cynical self thinks that if this is true, it is more about Javi than Isaac. Isaac could certainly meet up with Javi and Lincoln but the idea that Javi would have any legal rights to him is laughable. Besides, even if it does happen, how would it be in Isaac's best interests to have custody/visitation split three ways? IMO Javi knows that this will keep him in the tabloids for a bit longer and guarantee a storyline on TM2.
  5. Maybe unpopular but I believe that to a certain degree, these girls owe it to the audience to present something that resembles the truth. Like @Tatum said, it was spun as this poor, overworked single mom who was constantly attacked by her exes while she was struggling with mental illness. She may certainly have been struggling with mental illness but she had her mother, Chastity, Victoria, Corey, Corey's parents, Jeremy (sometimes), Jeremy's mother and countless others who were taking care of the girls. She wasn't a single mother trying to get buy on the minimum wage without much support, she was a very well paid *reality* star who had three different families (hers, Corey's, Jeremy's) who were all involved in looking after the kids. Plus the twinses were in school! If Corey was unable to get the girlses to school on time, was seen on camera nodding off while holding a baby, babbling about dye in babies heads and generally foisting the kids off with someone else, the "anxiety and stress" excuse wouldn't have cut it. Leah talks about how she needs to learn to focus on herself but in the whole of TM2 that is all we have seen her do. She certainly wasn't putting the girlses or Corey first when she cheated with Robbie. She wasn't putting the girlses first when she fought Corey tooth and nail for every hour of custody. She wasn't putting the girlses first when she moved two guys in after only a few months (Jeremy and Dues). She certainly puts herself first when she shuts herself in her room to FaceTime while the girls entertain themselves and when she allegedly dragged them out for late night drug runs. Leah may very well have anxiety and depression but she is also inherently selfish and loves the victim card.
  6. I haven't been on the 19K&C forums for a while because to be honest the Duggars were going through a boring phase when I didn't really care. I'm back now so can someone give me a summary of the last few months?
  7. @Toooldforthis Australia represent! And I agree, for all their talk about putting the Roll first, Nathan and Jenelle don't really seem to care about him. Nathan was completely happy with 2 weekends a month and we all know that Jenelle can't be bothered to actually look after him properly. And given their track records with Jace and Nathan's daughter and Uncle Creepy this isn't going to end well for Kaiser.
  8. I think it is a sad indication that by the age of 22 Leah has - 3 kids - 1 case of losing primary custody - 2 ex-husbands - 6 or 7 sexual partners (probably closer to 8 by the time you count the new penis) - 0 qualifications - 0 post-school education A woman has the right to control her body but even in the holler that has to be abnormal. Girl has issues that she thinks only someone with a dick can fix. Her long term plan seems to be living off Corey and Jeremy's child support because goodness knows that the MTV money won't last long. I really dislike the way that Leah makes herself out to always be the victim and complains about everything while she neglects to feed her children or get them to school on time but it's a sad state of affairs when she achieves all that by 22/23.
  9. I would pity the film crews if they had to film every week. Can you imagine 30 hours of Jenelle complaining, Leah mumbling high off her face, Kail's tattoos and Chelsea's baby voice? I would probably gorge my eyes out or amputate my ears.
  10. I haven't seen this episode but to me the scariest thing about Uncle BadTouch is that he is making out that his manipulation is "love". He is dealing with Nathan so that Jenelle doesn't have to "stress". He called the cops on Babs because she was disturbing "his" kids in "his" house. He likes to dictate what happens and when. This isn't love, it is control. He acts like he is doing all of this because he is looking out for Jenelle but in reality she is on her way to being a victim of domestic violence. Domestic violence doesn't have to involve slapping (although Dave's history suggests that), it can be isolation and dependency, making the victim feel like she can't leave. Dave has claimed Jenelle's house and kids as his own and makes it seem like he cares when in actual fact he has shown himself to be cruel, vindictive and in the past, violent. I don't like Jenelle, I think she is a terrible person and an even worse mother but no one deserves to feel unsafe in their own home or controlled or isolated or assaulted. That's not a feminist position, it's a basic human right not to be abused.
  11. I liked her before the uber skinny, pouty lips look. I thought that she looked refreshingly normal for someone on TV, she was relatively in proportion and had lovely hair. Now she looks completely different and is so obsessive about her arms/waist/legs/butt that it is unhealthy.
  12. I think conversations about the grey area of teenage sex/rape might be a bit much for a TM2 forum where the phrase "you're looking luscious like an avocado from Mexico" has been mentioned multiple times, lol.
  13. Agreed! I think I would rather bang my head on a brick wall then listen to Jenelle have a woe is me counselling session. A truly terrifying thought.
  14. I totally agree but because it was Jenelle I was a bit skeptical given her excuses like "I take drugs because you're mean/you took Jace away/my soulmate just left" rather than, "I'm a drug addict who takes no responsibility for my actions". It felt like a similar case in the conversation with Barb, in her mind it wasn't that she had a mental illness but rather than the world was being horribly unfair to her well-paid-but-unemployed backside. In her mind, it isn't her behaviour that causes problems, it is everyone else. And while that may very well be a mental health issue (can't say that I'm qualified about that!) her selfishness has been an ongoing issue over the seasons so... *shrug*.
  15. IIRC there was a big thing about if she was or wasn't bipolar and it happened around the "rehab" time. Barbs thought that she was but Jenelle got into a screaming fit that she wasn't, she was just stressed or some other excuse. Can't remember how it all panned out though.
  16. I'll donate a pot for Addy to sit on, a hairbrush for Ali to use, a smoke alarm for when Gracie makes breakfast and some anti-anxiety medication for the cat.
  17. Seriously, Jenelle has gone to new highs of delusion this season. "She raised him and whatever but I'm his mother" is the perfect example. Yeah to Barbra might have fed him, taken him to the doctor, enrolled him in school, taught him to walk and talk, stayed up with him when he was sick, sacrificed her well earned peace and quiet but Jenelle is his mother, y'all. And Jenelle might have left him unsupervised, given him sugary drinks, ignored him, let him play violent video games, used him as a pawn by pressuring him into answering a certain way (and that is just this season!) but she is his mother. And bullshit on the whole "I've been trying to get Jace back for years" thing. She has made a token effort once a season to see a lawyer and that is as far as it goes. She talks the talk but she isn't even prepared to pay attention to him when he is at her place.
  18. I should have known that it don't make no sense for Leah to speak in proper English...
  19. Before the grand finale rolls on up (I assume this is when THE TRUTH will be coming out!), here is my quotes of the season for Leah. Any others for the list? 1. Is it wrong that I'm letting Addy eat icing? If you need to ask that question, possibly you need to reconsider being a parent 2. I'm not stupid The last few seasons of TM2 would beg to differ 3. Just because the judge said so, doesn't mean I agree with it! That isn't how laws work, sweetheart. 4. Well I'm not Daddy and Miranda! No shit, Sherlock. (And why does not being Corey or Miranda prevent you from making breakfast?) 5. I'm a good mom! No comment needed...
  20. I think that more to the point, I really doubt that there was ever a discussion about what everyday stuff Ali should and shouldn't do. E.g. Ali should be in her wheelchair and responsible for her own bag. Ali should be responsible for keeping her room clean and putting her clothes away (although her mother hasn't exactly been a great role model). Ali shouldn't be expected to walk long distances or up and down stairs (LEAH!). Ali shouldn't do extra curricular activities involving sport but she should be enrolled in art/choir/drama. Leah can't bitch about Miranda not carrying Ali's bag one time considering that she has done far, far worse and there was never an agreement about it. The best thing for Ali would be for Leah, Corey and Miranda (since she is caring for them mostly during the week) to sit down and work out guidelines so that everyone is on the same page. But with two parents in denial, I doubt it will ever happen.
  21. The perfect example of why you shouldn't get a big tattoo of someone's name or picture after just a few years. Especially when their relationship was rocky from the get-go. Does Kail have any of Javi?
  22. @Lemons, ignoring what Chelsea told Aubree for the second. Adam was told about the dance. Adam wasn't even bothered to tell his daughter if he was going to be there or not. That is world class crappy behaviour. He said himself that he knew it was on, so it wasn't a case that he had no idea and was super regretful about it. Chelsea told Aubree that she wasn't sure if Adam would be there or not. Maybe it wasn't the greatest way but I'm not sure how else she could have gone about it. Aubree would have asked if Adam was going and if she said yes (even when she didn't know), Aubree would have been devastated when he didn't show. If she said no, she would be accused of trying to replace Adam with Cole by writing him off. Either way, we are looking at this with the benefit of hindsight. I don't think there is a "How to talk to your child about their deadbeat dad" book that Chelsea could consult here.
  23. As I understand, this is how it went down- Chelsea texts Adam about the dance. Adam doesn't reply. Adam doesn't show. I'm confused as to how it has become Chelsea's fault? She did what she had to do, tell him about it. Beyond that it is his responsibility to take the 25 seconds to find out the time/date and work out if he could go. It would take another 15 seconds to text Chelsea with either "Yes" or "No". If he can't take the minute out of his life to do those two tiny steps, he can't really say that he is involved in Aubree's life (by any stretch of the imagination!). Chelsea's job is to parent Aubree not Adam. He was given the opportunity to do something nice for his daughter and be involved. He choose not to.
  24. Tyga has media attention now because the split is still relatively recent. In two weeks he won't be making the cut on US magazine or People, he will probably end up at the bottom of the Daily Fail. I would bet that he either threatens the family (in which case we won't hear about it) or goes all out and does a big interview but then he risks the wrath of the Kardashian media machine.
  25. I don't know what she has done to her face but she has so gone too far. Not attractive with the lips or the super pulled back face. It sounds horrible but both Farrah and Jenelle remind me of the scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 where the mom and the aunt hold each other's necks to get rid of their wrinkles, lol.
