This show is fabulous. I'm sad but not shocked for the ratings. I knew the viewers would be mostly AOS viewers and that not all of them would watch or stay. It's a period piece with a female lead. Oh well I'm going to enjoy this run. Hope we get more on Netflix.

It's very physical and demanding. Unfortunately there is a lot of rumors about drugs and dancers :(

I love 10 but he's also my least favorite doctor.

tWitch isn't just famous for SYTYCD. He's on Ellen a lot and has been in movies. Though Allison did appear on DWTS a lot before she was added as a pro this season she kind of at least has a pseudo ballroom history. Her and tWitch did have a MSOD dance but tWitch just isn't the kind of dancer who they will have do ballroom dances. There is just no way they are thinking of adding him as a pro. I refuse to even let the fear of that enter into my head......

I don't watch her show but wasn't her character "killed off"? I know it's a show with surprises (and I think there was no body going by commercials) but she probably didn't know exactly what was planned and when she would be brought back but that she would be since there are always some kind of flash back of something hinting at the past.

Misha Gabriel is awesome. I wonder if Mark is going to use his own music? Misha helped choreograph Mark's "get my name" video. And the season 14 MSOD I hope Sadie is in pants. I think the dance could turn out well if she is in them.

They have had this look for years when they hunted and since around 2006 they have been a public entity. They would create hunting videos and then shave after hunting season was over. They have this Brand now and live in the Brand but that doesn't mean it's fake fake. Just emphasized.

Dan Quayle mentioned something like teeing off so I figure they are Golfing buddies. In that package they had all the big guns except Will because he's still close to everybody. And I have a feeling that Beth's fans are either really going to love this weeks dances or hate them. These dances this week are much more cutsey fun or pretty and artsy cool that way Beth and her videos are on her channel.

There are so many picture frame dances out there. Even Britney Spears did the picture frame though not to Contemporary. Peta and Tommy's styling is what had me thinking of sytycd. It was almost the same as a number that Tanisha&Rudy danced too.

He has watched the show. I read from a few former contestants that when it's you it just feels different when you are watching. You don't get the story angle and all you see is the dancing. And Everybody has some sour grapes about Beth and Derek this season.

I get Shirley to a degree. All the other Contestants have dance experience. Even Beth. Though 6th and 7th grade cheer jazz hip hop isn't really going to give her any advantage or anything. And Tommy forgets most of everything but Peta can get him to move well when she's communicating with him. I think Sadie is doing great. I like her dances better than Janel and of course Tommy's though Peta has used his swag to her advantage. I think Mark is doing a good Job with Sadie and Derek with Beth. I personally think Janel could be better but I like Val (loved him with Zendaya and his Argentine Tango with Meryl was my fav dance last season) so I'm not sure what the problem I'm having with her. I see her potential but I'm not really enjoying her. And I am everybody else. Even Lea. Though I do agree that she has sexed it up since the switch up and I don't think she was 100% confident with it. She tried to make it a character but being herself at the same time life her tryhard or needy. I actually think she would have done better with Tony. I love Artem though... What I don't get is Shirley's passion here? I get that she thinks Mark is being undeserved. I think she believes that Mark always delivers but isn't treated like he does. He has interesting choreography and gets his partner to go all out but is treated like a second class choreographer? I do kind of agree that Mark is treated like that but perhaps it's because everybody knows music is his real passion so they don't take him as passionate. I don't know but Shirley was overboard and I've never seen her like this ever.

I think Missy's plan was she wants to travel time and space deciding the fates of all. Having fun with her little playthings. She more or less wants to be GOD even as far as creating the afterlife imprint. She doesn't want to do it alone. But she doesn't want strong, dominating I like People Doctor but a dream version of him where he's used to following direction from a loud demanding control freak-ie someone like herself ;) So Basically she wanted the doctor to be with someone like her so that he would reach the point that he would understand that the Master and the Doctor were not that opposite. IE actual Murder and not just I didn't save him or nothing I could do like some of the other deaths this season. Or at least that is what I was getting out of the episode before they save the Boy. That Boy had to have come from an actual place. An actual afterlife that Missy had knowledge of where the dead can return from with the help of a magical bracelet. Though perhaps from an alternate reality. I mean that is how Buffy explained afterlife via childlike Ancient Anya. And Alternate realities are cannon on DW and would perhaps fit with Gallifrey being saved and so The Master. But that doesn't truly jive with the conversation that went along with the return of the boy. Though Maybe the Boy is just another way the master is trying to get the Doctor to understand the power a time travel has over time and space. You really can rule and shape it to fit your needs. Well if there isn't a goody two shoe Doctor foiling evil plots... I wish I could just move on to the next episode. There was no time to wonder because more episodes to watch....

Amy and Rory have been dead for a while so who knows how much of their organic matter would still be around to be used. They also died in New York so you can imagine them being awake protecting each other as Cybermen. But my fan wonk is since Cybermen don't kill each other per say, there wouldn't have any one around for a promise of love to conflict with the need to feel no emotion. And for me the only issue I had was the boy's return. There should be no body. If that didn't happen the episode would have been great imo. It went against the whole timelord tech memory database and made it an actual Afterlife with a bracelet that can reconstitute bodies from memories. Not just in a computer world but real life. I guess it's time to reconstitute River from her computer. Though maybe he's an Auton duplicate. Or perhaps the version of himself from an alternate reality. Or perhaps an almost people version of himself. Since we are talking about Robots made from particles and organic material who knows anything goes. I need to know what happens with the boy to be able to figure out what actually happened. I enjoyed the episode though. I know if you don't like the relationships the emotions and and power a promise of love can have loses it's value. This story would have been served better with more established characters or new characters who have a established history together. Though quite a few fans of Buffy hated that Xander saved the world with love in their s6 finale. In a lot of ways this Who season felt like their take on what was happening in that Buffy season.

And as I was told often on the other board, the contestants have different expectations for what a perfect dance for them would be...

Lindsay and Jenna are the troupe dancers. Kim was hired in probably cause she has worked with Pitbull. Allison has danced on the show a number of times. That's different from the troupe. Being a Troupe member means you are among the pros and stars at the teaching time. It would have benefited Allison. But she and everybody kept saying, ballroom has been in and out of her life since the beginning. It wasn't going to be an issue with her. But a las She can dance the dances with pros and make herself look believable in the dance. It's not the same as teaching and Choreographing a dance that is pretty much in another language. And do so for a newbie dancer. In a competition setting. On top of the Out/over dancing that she has been accused of even on SYTYCD. I still love Allison, Just not for DWTS pro. Without some seriously learning.

Witney is one of Mark's students so maybe she's used to letting him be in charge?

I haven't seen the episode yet but Clara doesn't travel with the Doctor because she likes it. She does so because first she had always wanted to travel but could never get herself to do it. Things happen and she could never let go of her current life to do what she thought she wanted to do in her head. But the Doctor gave her a way that she could do her real life responsibility and travel as she had dreamed. (Or maybe even as a thing that her and her mom craved together. And Clara's Mom probably did die from the results of the Auton invasion since her grave stone said she died on March 5th 2005. I've always linked the events for some reason). The Doctor is an adrenaline rush. Even though the Adventures aren't really fun for her, they are exhilarating. I can see where he would be addicting. Clara needs to find a life she wants to live and live it. Her whole adult life is craving something else. Then again she blew in on a leaf of destiny. To a degree she lives the life she thinks is the life destined for her instead of living the life she is living and enjoying the ride.

The episode looks like it will still be good. Even though the doctor is the bet part of the season so less him will always be bad. But I'm hoping that it's not as bad as it could be...

In the Impossible Astronaut? The first doctor is the Doctor we see later in the season. He list his age as being somewhere around 200 years older than the other doctor in the episode. It does seem to me that he could/might have ran from the time "he dies" to put off death. It seems no real time passes from the Doctor's "Death" to when they find him in the diner since they go looking for who is Number 1 from the Tardis Blue envelopes.

Allison did do Bollywood on the S7 sytycd tour but I do hope she gets someone in to help her...

I do say they should hire an outside Choreographer to "help" her create a ballroom dance. Though they may be out this week since they had one of the lowest America score but that isn't necessarily how things will go in the voting. As for as Contemporary, Here's Allison and Fik Shun from the All star does the Choreography from Sytycd s10 (Summer 2013).
