  1. At this point, the bolded may be a moot point since they've moved to Florida (even though that hasn't been on the show yet) & I think we're still seeing activities shot in Houston. If they('ve) re-enroll(ed) Will in karate/martial arts in the Tampa/St. Pete area, then all concerned might have something to talk about.
  2. I thought it mentioned TV; especially since someone else brought up Grace and Frankie before me. I was just trying to clarify that it's a streaming show & not on a traditional commercial or cable network.
  3. And that show streams on Netflix; it doesn't air on commercial or cable TV.

  5. And here's an article about it from Variety.
  6. Jen posted a pic of Will & Zoey in their Halloween costumes to her Instagram. Will is Darth Vader; Zoey's a Disney Princess, I think (I think I remember the costume & hair style), but I can't remember the Princess's name. She may be from Frozen, because I know Zoey likes that, but I don't think the wig with her costume is a hair color from Frozen.

  8. Thanks for the info on the elbow/brace. There is a thing called Tennis Elbow, so it's probable golfers get something similar. Mind you, nothing has been set in stone yet about a S9. But yeah, Alex said--close to the end of last season, in a magazine published by CBS, that he'd been taking stem cell treatments (for what I assume is the worst of the injuries), he felt a lot better than he had been feeling as a result, & he felt like he could a 9th season if that's what everyone involved wanted. There's also this: I was looking at 1 of those "cancellation predictor" sites, recently. They were writing about CBS' program ratings in the 4th week of the season & they said that H50 was "likely to be renewed by May 2018". I don't think they've said that about the show this early in the season since S1 going into S2. From the end of S2 until this season started, they've started by predicting "cancellation is imminent" & then changed to "likely to be renewed" closer to the end of the season.
  9. The Halloween ep airs this Friday, November 3rd. As for Scott's MIA, as far as I know he still gets to do 5 eps less per season than Alex (as he told the Pittsburgh TV writer at the CBS party in LA before S6 started) but I don't think it's scheduled like "he shoots 4 eps then misses the next ep" (for 1 thing, that wouldn't really work out too well unless the number of eps per season is divisible by 5). I don't know how they choose which 5 he misses, & when, but I assume/hope they're flexible when it comes to emergencies/unexpected stuff. And I've heard they're apparently only doing 23 eps this season (which may be a concession to the physical state Alex's body has gotten into from doing too many of his own stunts over the years--though in the most recent interview he did with CBS' Watch! magazine, before last season ended, he said he'd been getting stem cell treatments on something he apparently injured & he was feeling a lot better, well enough to do a 9th season now, he thought; he had told an Australian newspaper around the beginning of last season that he thought this season would be it... at least so he could remain physically capable of playing with his & Malia's sons &, eventually, his grandchildren after having done the show). Anyway... If they're only doing 23 eps this season, I'm not sure what that does to Scott's time off... I guess if Alex is doing all 23, then Scott will be doing 18. Plus there's another thing to consider: Maybe Scott was planning to be in the ep, but that was when whatever it was that had him recently wearing a brace on his arm, on & offscreen, happened &, presumably, Scott had to have some kind of surgery on it... probably missing at least an ep because of it, & bringing Scott (& Danny) back onscreen with that brace we've seen on his arm in pics from filming. Though they'd have to write in an excuse for the injured arm; Danny was said to have been at his niece's confirmation (presumably in New Jersey) & the confirmation itself shouldn't have been enough for Danny to hurt his arm. For that matter, I don't think we've heard how Scott hurt his arm--was it a jiu jitsu thing, like when he messed up his knee, had to have surgery, & they had to write it in during S1, or what? At least I think he's out of the brace now; so that's good.
  10. And in that scene, we belatedly find out that Steve actually did get at least some HPD academy training under his belt as well (I think some people have always wondered about that). As they're watching Junior work on his marksmanship, the instructor's going through all the attributes (I guess you could say) Junior's shown during training & then he says Junior reminds him of Steve.
  11. It's on this Friday, November 3rd. No need to be sad; we get to extend Halloween this year.

  15. I don't know if he's still in my hometown or not, but Will Lee posted a series of photos, taken while Dave & Company were in DC for the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor presentation, on his Instagram account. There are 5 pics, with arrows in about the middle of either side of the page for navigational purposes. Even if you don't have Instagram, you should still be able to see the pics; I could. They just might take a few seconds or so to change from 1 to the next. And the next to last pic appears to be Dave rehearsing his acceptance speech/presentation, with the pic taken from behind him.

His father was actor Jim Bannon, who played Red Ryder in 4 movies. Actor/singer & Oscar nominee John Travolta was 1 of his brothers-in-law by marriage; Bannon married John's older sister, actress Ellen Travolta, in 1983. She's best known for playing Scott Baio's mother in the sitcoms Joanie Loves Chachi & Charles in Charge.

  20. Another thing to consider with Will is when he had the tubes put in his ears, besides the usual reason(s) for that they were also trying to fix a hearing deficit they discovered he had (which did seem to be cleared up by that--at least I remember Jen saying the ear tubes helped with his hearing deficit). Apparently (at least I thought they said in the new eps) Zoey had ear tubes placed too, which we didn't see in the show--maybe partly because they were placed while the show was stuck in that long legal limbo it was in & maybe partly because the producers might've thought showing Zoey's procedure would be redundant since we already saw when Will went to the Delaware hospital for that sort of soon after he arrived in Houston/the US (he went for an MRI, to have his ear tubes placed, & to have his tonsils & adenoids removed... all in 1 hospital admission). Anyway, as far as I know, Zoey didn't need the ear tubes in an attempt to fix a hearing deficit; she just needed them for the "usual" reason(s) a kid needs ear tubes.
  21. In the opening of the show, Bill says he's 4 feet tall; Jen says she's 3 feet, 2 inches tall. And I think they even have the measurements onscreen in the opening of the newest episodes. Anyway, their being 4 feet (48 inches) & 3 feet, 2 inches tall (38 inches), respectively, is a bit different than their being 40 inches & 32 inches.
