  4. According to promo pics I've seen that CBS has released, she's in the season finale if not before. I think the last time she was on was when she was selling "Aloha Girls" cookies to the team with Kamekona's help a few weeks ago.
  5. Original Airdate: May 5, 2017 SOURCE: https://www.cbspressexpress.com/cbs-entertainment/shows/hawaii-five-0/releases/view?id=47576
  6. In my opinion, if Adam was a "gangster" at all he was a rather reluctant one. His late brother, Michael, had it in him more than Adam did. And when Michael got out of prison in S3, he seemed to take over the running of the Yakuza. He also stole Kono's gun & killed some people/enemies with it, then put it back where he found it & she & Adam were none the wiser until the bodies were found & the bullets in them matched those in Kono's gun (which was probably easier to tell than other guns since Kono was a cop & all her guns would likely already be registered with HPD & Five-0). All because Adam was, literally, in bed with a cop--which would be a severe liability to Michael's running the Yakuza.
  7. As @ally said, Julie will be in the season finale; she filmed her part a few weeks ago. She also was in the season premiere (& might've been in another ep I'm forgetting). In the premiere, they said her character had transferred from Five-0 to HPD (which would help explain why she wasn't around a lot since it had already been announced she also had a part in Training Day, which would obviously cause issues with her availability to film H50). Given the untimely death of Bill Paxton & the less than stellar ratings for that show, I have the feeling it'll be cancelled (it wasn't among the shows renewed with H50 & it still hasn't been renewed). If it is, hopefully we'll see more of Julie & her character Abby in S8.
  8. I have the feeling Jerry's still in the basement. Not because there's no room upstairs, but because it suits his "conspiracy theorist" type character as originally conceived. I don't think Adam was ever exonerated, really--at least not for saying it was self defense; nor did he say he shot those men in self defense. Self defense was, as I remember, mentioned by Kono when she was updating Five-0 on the sentencing negotiations with the DA (or "Prosecuting Attorney", as they seem to call them in Hawaii instead of "DA"). But it wasn't mentioned by Adam. Kono mentioned it in terms of something like, "Because of who he is (the son of a Yakuza boss), they're making him serve some time even though everybody knows it was self defense." And then she went into how long a sentence they were offering, which was something like 18 months or 2 years (these eps were just on TNT's reruns--Adam just entered the prison in the last ep they showed last Friday night/Saturday morning); I think they started at 2 years & knocked it down to 18 months before he actually set foot in the prison). Like I said, Adam wasn't exonerated for saying it was self defense. But after he got dragged along on that jailbreak set up by some of the show's real "big bads", which aired in an ep about this time last season, Adam got his sentence commuted for his actions while he was stuck with the real escapees (he behaved himself, if you will, they knew he didn't escape willingly since he wasn't like the guys he was with to start with, & he subtly dropped a trail of beads from a prayer necklace, or some other kind of necklace, he just happened to be wearing at the time so that whoever was searching for them would notice them & be led to the group of escapees & recapture them). That's how he got out really early in the beginning of this current season.
  9. Larry Fortensky, Elizabeth Taylor's 7th (& last) husband, died last July of melanoma at age 64. Apparently it's just being announced now. http://extratv.com/2017/04/13/liz-taylors-ex-husband-larry-fortensky-dead-at-64/
  10. Here's a more extensive obit for Dave's mom than I posted earlier. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/advance-obit-dorothy-mengering-dead-795160?utm_source=twitter

  14. Actor Peter Hansen, who played Lee Baldwin on General Hospital from 1965-2004, died Sunday in Santa Clarita, California according to his family. He was 95 years old. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/peter-hansen-dead-general-hospital-actor-was-95-992814
  15. Another article from People about the new book about Dave. This time, talking about his feud (alleged feud?) with Jay Leno. http://people.com/tv/david-letterman-feud-jay-leno-a-new-biography-host-unhappiness/?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag
  16. And here's an article from People magazine about the new Dave biography referenced above. It hasn't been published yet, like I originally thought; the publication date is in the article. http://people.com/tv/how-david-letterman-dealt-sex-scandal-blackmail-new-book/?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag
  17. There's a new, I'm assuming unauthorized, book/biography about Dave which has apparently just been published. Here's a link to a review in USA Today, I think it's today's issue, April 10th, in the Life section (at least in the online version). https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/books/2017/04/10/letterman-the-last-giant-of-late-night-jason-zinoman/100139932/
  18. Well they suddenly (pretty suddenly, anyway) decided, out of the blue in (I think) S4 or maybe S5, that Danny was claustrophobic in an ep--which he hadn't shown any signs of being, like, since the beginning of the show/the character's introduction in S1 (though you'd think he would've shown it from the beginning if he were) & they just used that character trait again a week or 2 ago, when he had to slide down the hotel laundry chute after 1 of the kidnappers of the rich guy's wife & mistress & he didn't want to but did because he had to. So they're keeping to continuity with that (I actually think they're pretty good with that). But it wouldn't surprise me if they did something like make the Grover family Jewish (hey, the late Sammy Davis, Jr. was both African-American & Jewish, so it's possible), introduce the fact now & do more with it later. But I'm probably overplaying that again & Grover was just using the Bar Mitzvah reference to indicate Will's age, as I think someone else said.
  19. Starting next Monday (April 17th), reruns (presumably) of the show will start airing on GSN (Game Show Network) at 9PM Eastern/8PM Central Time. This is according to an ad I saw every time I watched other game show reruns on GSN today.
  20. I think at least 1 thing that was different was that Claire's hairstyle has changed--& gotten progressively shorter--pretty much every time she's been on lately. In S1, & maybe S2, her hair was longish with bangs in front; since then it's been shorter whenever she's been on. I think that was a Claire choice as opposed to a character thing for Rachel. I doubt she's been Botoxing...yet. She's not even 35. I'm not sure her face has gotten rounder either; maybe it's the shorter hair giving that illusion.
  21. Nobody, including Scott, has said Scott Caan's leaving H50 after this season (S7). In fact, Daniel Dae Kim recently posted to his Instagram account--which I posted about in the Media thread over this past weekend--that both Scott & Alex will be back for S8 (next season). Awhile back, Alex O'Loughlin did an interview with an Australian newspaper where he said that he would leave the show after S8, because he had sustained a number of lingering injuries from doing his own stunts for the show & he still wanted to be able to do things, physically, with his young kids (his stepson from his wife Malia's previous marriage & his & Malia's son together) &, when the time came, his grandchildren.
