That's how I remember it, too. And Jana's tears were real when she told the story.

Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge - General Discussion
CalicoKitty replied to chediavolo's topic in Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge
All they needed was to get some TV trays. I wondered how much the chef feeding the judges played in their win. -
I experienced the same thing from a group of "good friends" from work. It hurts. And you spend time wondering what you did wrong. There is no accounting the behavior of others. I wish you good thoughts.

I had the pleasure of meeting and singing under Jester Hairston when he was the guest choir director for a group I was in. We performed a couple of his compositions, and he was an absolute delight. He had the most wonderful, "jolly" personality. He was a real treasure.

I saw that on the news. Is serial killing more prevalent, or are they getting more press now? They caught a serial kill in Stockton CA last year (quite near where I used to live). I haven't followed the NY case very closely, but I am interested to get more facts.

I'm so glad you found a "fix". You are right, it shouldn't be this hard. What's the deal, anyway. I had a long conversation with an Apple tech last night. I couldn't get on to Safari on my phone--at all--and she found the setting that had mysteriously changed. She surprised me by saying that she never uses Safari on her phone. She uses the Chrome app and loves it. I'm not a Safari user on my Mac because I don't like the cluttered screen with Safari. Now I may put another browser on my phone so I can ignore Safari. The things you learn from the Apple techs.

Public school will also have some counseling services and other trained adults that can pick up on his behaviors. It would certainly be the best chance for him to get any help he might need. But I bet this won't happen. -
I have an HP tank printer. I have had no connection issues or printing problems. I love this printer. It is the best I have ever had, and I have always had HPs.

I don't have to have the VPN on in Opera to have ad blocking. I use Google as my browser currently. I never thought about the printer not working with a VPN. Mine doesn't seem to mind, but I will keep an eye on it turn off the VPN if necessary. Thanks for the tip.

I hope you like your watch as much as I like mine. It is so easy to pay at the grocery store without getting anything out of my purse. In fact, I pay with my watch in about 90% of the places I shop--even the Dollar Store!

Therapy and counseling are foreign concepts to this bunch. I am afraid he will not get the attention he needs until after something bad happens. -
Since I moved from California almost 3 years ago I have experienced, plague (Covid), severe forest fires, the threat of flood, record snowfall, pestilence (we are experiencing hoards of grasshoppers), bears roaming around in town, and now we are under an extreme heat warning. My power went out for a few minutes, so I brought my battery-operated fans in from the garage and put new batteries in case the power goes out again. I am planning to stay inside for the weekend, and I'm keeping my curtains closed to help keep the house cool. Happily, I have lots of "real" books to read if the power and cable go down. The weather should be "cooler" next week (less than 102). I can hardly wait for the next adventure! Everyone experiencing heat or flooding, please stay safe.

They were never very exciting. I think the season should remain "lost".

Maybe they can air the unshown last season of the Bateses. That could bring some entertaining discussions. RE: IBLP.

And had a discussion about how bad that was for poor Fena.

She doesn't have the time to write a book. She needs to use that time to find out why her son chases the cat with scissors and throws knives. It sounds like he needs all of her attention right now.
