  1. The router is being accused again? How many times can the poor router be charged in this case?
  2. I expect anything that will draw attention to them. The first granddaughter must have a very, very special name. I wonder if "Jill" will be part of it. (Heaven Jill, Praise Jill, Heistheway Jill, Alleluia Jill---you get the idea.) Saddly, this would not surprise me too much.
  3. Naomi. I think Nancy would not get enough attention. They are only out to prove how devout they are. The name will have to have some Biblical connection. Maybe they can make up something that will fit their attention-getting needs.
  4. This morning I received a weather warning from our power company. Expected winds up to 70 miles per hour and possibly 9 inches of snow starting tomorrow morning. There is a blizzard warning for Tahoe. I have my Halo Bolts and my Eco Flow River (all from QVC) all charging right now to be prepared. I don't have a whole house generator, but at least I will be able to have some lamps and the radio on. And maybe my heated blanket. I'm picking up groceries from Walmart today, so I should be good. It sounds like there is bad weather in several places. Every one stay safe and warm.
  5. I hope everyone stays safe. Maybe the Duggar emergency squad will show up to "help". We have had several weather warnings already for this weekend. Very high winds with maybe 8 inches of snow.
  6. Maybe she shops on QVC. They have had some atrocities that look even worse than this lately.
  7. You are smart. I have seen the clerks actually staple the receipt to the gift card packaging. Always keep the receipt for a gift card and give it to the recepient. It is too bad that we have to be so careful now, and that some people think theft is an ok thing to do.
  8. I don't give gift cards anymore because there is a good chance they are no good. I don't know the details, but people can remove the redemption code off the card and use it. The card gets sold and it is already used. I have seen clerks check the cards before people leave with them. Emailed Amazon gift cards are the ones I use if I need a gift card. I wonder how Jill would react if her gift (grift) card was refused. I heard this was a TicTok challange, but I don't know if that is true. I do know people that have received useless gift cards, however.
  9. I see the rag was back for this performance. At least the chicken looked clean.
  10. I think that was Giddy. Joy had wrapped the kittens in a gift box. And yes, Josie was grabbing at them roughly. They were never seen again.
  11. Didn't Joy name her dog Brielle? I wonder where Brielle the dog is now?
  12. I just rest my computer, and now I have this annoying arrow in a circle that keeps moving around my screen. Does anyone know that this arrow is for, and how to get rid of it?
  13. Thanks. That makes more sense (if "sense" can be used regarding a Jill situation.)
  14. Why is one girl holding a stuffed chicken? (I guess it looks better than a dirty rag.) Why do they just stand there while playing other people's music? Surely no one thinks that music is coming from them. This is most strange. Does Jill expect "love gifts" from people who just look at them standing in front of the church? Does she somehow think just being in her family's presence is enough to make folks want to give them money and gifts? I don't get it. But then, I don't "get" Jill's mind, either.
  15. If they opt for Damaris I won't be watching. She rubs me the wrong way anytime I see her. I get real tired of her act real fast.
  16. I have a very old family Bible. In the front pages that are usually used to write down family names, my aunt wrote, in pencil, all about a trip her family took by train from Iowa to New York to visit their aunt and cousins. I have no idea why she wrote it there, but I'm guessing it was an important trip for her. The trip was in 1916, and my aunt was 10. She was not some full-grown woman who wrote all about herself in the the scriptures themselves. A woman who has access to paper or a diary, neither of which my aunt had access to. I have never seen anyone actually glorify themself on the pages of a Bible before. It is rather disturbing.
  17. I was going to ask the same thing. Where are the other people. I think they really are loners on this trip.
  18. How can she possibly bowl in that skirt? And, as a poster stated above, why would you pay all that money for a special trip, only to go to a bowling alley? You could do that at home, and your kids may actually have fun. I'm guessing that no one wants to spend time with her on this trip. Where are the other members of her "choir"? No one to sing hymns with? It appears to me that she and Dave are loners on this trip. And how can she even go bowling? I thought she had a severely injured knee AND shoulder. Neither joint will be helped when she falls down trying to bowl in that skirt.
  19. The B&B kitchen supplied with Temptations dishes, and possibly bakeware, is not a selling point for me. I threw out all the Temptations I had. It chips badly, and I had a baker crack in the oven. I had a huge chicken juice mess in the oven and on the floor. The brand is sold on QVC, and the quality is very poor, in my opinion. I thought it was strange that she would mention this by brand name. It is not anything special, and is sub par. Just go back and look at some of Janelle's "food" pictures. The plates and dishes are usually chipped. Those dishes are Temptations.
  20. Me, too. I use my Breville every day. My oven looks brand new inside because I never have a reason to use it.
  21. Even with the free food, I'm not sure she can eat very much while wearing that skirt. It looks so uncomfortable. I'm glad I am going to be wearing fleece-lined pants and a heavy parka on my upcoming trip. I would hate to have to wear a costume like her's.
  22. Or sits. Maybe Dave just leans her against a pillar and checks on her occasionally.
  23. I have known people that do things at church--choir members, Sunday school teachers, for example--who feel they donate through their "church work" and do not give money. It would not surprise me at all if Jill feels she gives to the church through her "music" and Ladies Retreats, and does not donate to the offering at all.
