  1. Is Kaylee paid by the number of commas she uses, or by the number used incorrectly?
  2. Before Janessa was born Jill made a post stating that the baby had had a stroke in utero, and was missing part of her corpus callosum. There are many children who survive missing part of the corpus callosum with differing degrees of problems. The only baby I cared for with this condition was born blind, deaf, and unable to eat or regulate her body temperature. She died in two weeks. That was a worse case scenario. Janessa can talk and walk and eat, but that does not mean she does not have some delays. I have no idea how the stoke figures in. But Jill has claimed that prayer cured Janessa. I still feel that there is a good possibility that there are some issues that are not being addressed. Jill has not mentioned any on-going appointments with the "pediatrician doctor". It is useless to point out that if Janessa was in public school she would get extra help in areas she might need. Does Jill treat her like a baby? Yes. But there could be reasons beside just spoiling her. Just my opinion.
  3. I still believe that Janessa has more severe delays than Jill lets on. She may always need additional help. Yes, Jill may want her to always be her baby, but I think there is more to the story that Jill denies.
  4. Does Jill not understand that all her criticism of other people's beliefs is exactly what she is doing? She certainly thinks she is very special. I have posted this before, but I wish Jill would read it.
  5. I thought I was lazy in the kitchen. Actually, I don't cook very much at all. But how hard is it to boil a dozen eggs and have them on hand? Actually, I do 2 dozen at a time in my Instant Pot, and it takes all of 10 minutes. (well, 15 including putting them in ice water) I like doing eggs this way because it is so easy, and the eggs peel so easily. I always have boiled eggs on hand. It probably cost a lot more to buy them precooked than doing them at home. Egg tip: can't tell a raw egg from a boiled egg? Give it a spin. A raw egg will wobble and spin slowly. A boiled egg with spin quickly. That's because the yolk is now solid and it gives the egg an axis to spin on.
  6. Wow. Getting away from the barndo has really made a difference. He looks totally different--and happier. He looks totally different. He is not a bad looking guy. I hope he is able to stay away from home.
  7. That's what I say, too. I don't know how he is doing it. He had actually been quite ill a few months ago. He may be taking some supplement. I sure hope it's not Plexus, but I'm sure there are MLM sellers at their church, so it is very possible that he is using some product. I do know he has lost a ton of weight very quickly, which is also not healthy. I purposely have not asked because I don't want to seem like I am interested.
  8. Jill will probably find someone's party to "be invited to" (crash) that just happens to be the same day--like poor Nurie's wedding reception. I sure hope Heidi's sisters make sure her hair is nice and her veil isn't sideways. I also hope her family knows enough to keep Jill far, far away from anything pertaining to the bride or the wedding.
  9. Fasting diets must be popular. I have LDS neighbors who are on a "diet" that includes 24 hour fasts. He husband has had stints put in this past year and is diabetic. The wife says he fasts for 24 hours at a time and is off all his meds. I don't see how this can be healthy. Not sure if his doctor knows what he is doing.
  10. 40 hours?? How healthy is it to fast that long? I hope she is not encouraging people with health issues like diabetes to do this. Although she does encourage pregnant and nursing moms to drink Plexus. And she only ate 2 boiled eggs? No wonder she acts kind of goofy. Her blood sugar is all over the place.
  11. Did she get the parent's permission before she posted this? She truly has no boundaries.
  12. I once lived in an apartment that was on the second floor. There was an indoor/outdoor type carpet in the kitchen which was supposed to keep the sound from going into the apartment below. I did not like it. It was a pain when something was spilled. On the other hand, my mother loved carpet, and the only room that did not have carpet was the kitchen. Even the bathrooms had plush carpet. (shudder) Under all that carpet there were 60 year old untouched hardwood floors. When we sold the house, the new buyers were thrilled. The floors were gorgeous.
  13. Thanks. I guessed as much. I'm just so happy that I can access the site quickly now without long, long waits. I'm speedy now, and I hope it lasts.
  14. OK. The site is up and I can access the forums without any delay. Except the past 2 days of posts are gone. This is becoming quite an adventure.
  15. I predict a grift coming on. He will have a severe back injury and be unable to work. I'm confused. A stove that burns wood has to be vented. It can't be moved from room to room. What are they putting this fire wood in?
  16. A lot of churches have rules in place. I was in charge of music at an American Anglican church, and even though my finger prints were already on file for my nursing license and my teaching credential, I had to be finger printed again because there were children on the church premises. I had no occasion to interact with the kids, but I still had to be printed. The church had no history or complaints of anything sexual or unethical, but every adult had prints on file. The Little Rock church apparently had a history of mishandling several sexual situations, and wisely changed lawyers. A lawyer who defends sexual misbehavior is probably not exactly a good choice.
  17. I wonder if a shared driveway is becoming a "thing". There is a builder here in town that has built a subdivision, and all the houses have shared driveways. I have wondered if driveway is cheaper to install than landscaping. There must be a big cost factor involved. The houses look strange, and there is a lot more driveway to shovel in the winter. These homes are not for me.
  18. I think Plexus is going to help Tim and Heidi. Jill won't dare to cross Mrs. Coverett. Jill can't afford to lose any in her downline.
  19. This is exactly why I put hard floor in my entire house when I moved. In my old house, the carpet layers finished laying new carpet, and they had not even left my driveway before both cats had thrown up on the new carpet. I love having hard floors, and would never have carpet again.
  20. People will lose weight on Jill's recipes because they are inedible. Kaylee, and everyone else in that family (with the exception of Jill and Dave) do not need to try to lose any weight. Weight loss comes with living in the barndo.
  21. I'm sure they cannot read and understand the KJ Bible. They learn by listening to some preacher's interpretation. Since many of their preachers don't have much education, I think the message gets muddled. Then they "spread the word" that they thought they heard.
  22. So Kaylee "writes" the post, Jill reads the post, and then goes ahead and posts it, and Jill-the-wonderful-teacher doesn't pick up on the errors? Jill's grandkids are absolutely doomed. The boys will never have the opportunity for anything but very low paying jobs because they will be totally illiterate. The girls will get married, so they don't matter.
  23. The timing seems like it. That was my first thought. Does Kaylee decide to "write" these posts, or does Jill tell her to make a post, and tell her what to write?
  24. Same comma error not once, but every time. At least she is consistent. Oh, I just noticed. She got one right. She forgot the comma in "Respect". I expect we will be subject to many more of these posts as a pointed reference to Heidi's family. Jill and her children are so much more perfect and godly, after all. Tim had better stay far away from the barndo unless he receives a direct command. He deserves food and happiness. (She really is so judgmental). I really want to see the pictures from this wedding. I would hope Jill and Dave would attend. Of course, they didn't attend the engagement party, so----
