I have that same router and it is a pain to use. It really needs to be mounted in a good router table. LOL at the V8 engine comment but yeah....I get it. I think you could dispose of a body with this thing pretty quickly.

I'm not a lawyer but in Illinois they give you the standard roadside tests. If you fail those they will either give you a breathalyzer test on the spot or take you back to the station and give you the test. If you fail they will charge you. If you pass they will release you. They will not "forget" to give you the breathalyzer test. It isn't Mayberry where they put you up in a cell overnight to sleep it off. Given the fact he stayed in jail overnight he must have failed the breathalyzer test and was charged though usually they keep your license as bail and release you after processing unless you are too drunk to be released on your own, are a repeat offender or have other warrants. Also if you refuse the breathalyzer test in Illinois you automatically lose your license for a year. And $500 isn't going to automatically get a DUI dropped or expunged. Plan on spending a lot more than that with no guarantee of beating it.

During the scene where Ben was under the cabinet working on the garbage disposal all I could think of is why is the garbage disposal not working in a brand new house. I was expecting Mike Holmes to burst in and 'Make it Right'.

Could be I guess but I assume these guys are given paychecks while working during the summer and the gold at the end is the bonus. Surely people would not go up there and work for months and not get paid anything.

Season finale: Fred's crew didn't make it to their first goal of 500 ounces nor did they meet the reduced goal of 200 ounces. Ended up with 157 ounces for the season and after the weigh Fred said at least it is enough for everyone to get their gold to take home but it is going to make it very tight for him. So buzz says "keep my gold, I believe in us" meaning for next year. Then one by one, some of them reluctantly looking, agree to give Fred their gold too. But in Fred's final appearance on Camera he clearly states he isn't sure he will come back next year. Just seemed odd considering everyone had just given him their share of the gold just so they could come back next year. I get it...it is expensive for all of that equipment. If he doesn't come back I hope he gives the gold back to his crew.

The TV thing always bugs me on these shows. On many of them there is a TV in the before picture but in the after picture there is no TV anywhere. I'd be the one during the reveal to say "where the hell is my TV"? And just an FYI...a TV above the fireplace is too high and you will have a stiff neck after watching it for awhile.

After this episode Jeff needs to win an emmy. He played the nice guy contractor perfectly and I'm sure he was dying on the inside. If the CIA needs a sure fire method of getting foreign enemies to talk they should put Heather's laugh on loop. They won't have a chance. Heather did mention she deals in high end real estate and mentioned a house that is priced at $25 million. Makes it seem like dealing with houses like these are a few steps down for her if she deals with those kinds of real estate deals. Also they have removed the part of Flip or Flop where they go see a house, make a low ball offer, and then pay above that low ball offer. Now both houses they went to look at were already purchased by his company and already had a reno budget set before they went and looked at it. And the whole "this is Heather's flip" to do on her own was complete BS. Tarek doesn't have it in his DNA to let that happen and the whole Jeff won't let him in the house was bizarre. The house wasn't horrible but there wasn't anything special about it either. The whole "I already have a buyer" for it seemed a little unbelievable especially since it was her hairdressers mother although I imagine Heather has to go to a hairdresser to the stars and not just a normal hairdresser so okay...$1.85 million for the house.
