It is just so stupid when the show runners always feel like they have to kill people off that choose to leave. It is against their nature to let people have a happy exit. I guess they think it is just so cinematically dramatic. It was just pointless. Why have him survive his injuries at the beginning of the season just to be killed by the mall cop?

He did say he is going to build a castle there. 😁 We have heard that before though. I think this was just fodder for the show. My guess is on the next season we will never hear anymore about him moving the family to Alaska unless he has been promised a spinoff series.

I was expecting them to all sit down together to eat a meal but Zach and Tori didn't even eat anything. I'm surprised they didn't just hand it to Chris and Amy out of a drive through window on their way through.

To be honest I don't know why I still watch this show as there really is not that much that is interesting. But I do know if the show just becomes Zach, Tori, and their 3 kids I won't be watching anymore. I'm almost to the point of fast forwarding through any scenes that they are in.

Caryn is a part of Matt's "we" and he had every right to have her in that meeting since obviously he values her opinion and advice.

Until I get proof, which yeah I likely never will, I choose to believe that Zach and Tori are just throwing a tantrum for not getting their way. That seems a lot more likely to me than Caryn saying something so egregious that she is now dead to them. It seems that eventually Matt will be forced to make a choice. And that is never good.

I can’t imagine Caryn said anything so terrible that would warrant never letting her see those kids again or meet the latest one. I’ll need a word by word account of the meeting before I believe it. Not taking Zach and Tori’s word of it.
