I would assume she is pretty sick to not have been able to attend and to require a wheel chair. Cancer treatment has improved so much that the effects are nothing like they used to be. Certainly wouldn't make you so sick that you couldn't stand. Many people never miss a day of work while undergoing treatment. I fear her condition is pretty serious.
