Amber: A Rill Woman Goes to Gel
SPLAIN replied to David T. Cole's topic in Teen Mom: The Next Chapter
I have been to several book signings. Barnes & Noble are very thorough and accurate with the book signings and the information they put out there in their advertisements. They would NEVER put someone's name in the advertising, on social media, or anywhere such as the wristband and line ticket if they were not going to appear. From the book signings I have attended at B&N, one has to go early in the morning to purchase the book. You can go later, but the earlier you go, the better your chances are to be in the front of the line. You will then be given a line ticket or a wristband that will save you a spot in the line. At least a few hours before the time of the book signing, B&N has a good idea of how many people will be showing up. It is important for them to have an idea of how many people will be there for the event so they know how many people they will be dealing with for security reasons and such. They have to get the store ready for possibly a large crowd. I bet you someone in Matt's camp went to ask B&N about how many people were expected or how many books had been sold. If not, Matt & Amber drove by and saw there was no line of people. Amber had one of her fake meltdowns and left. Just like she does when the reunion shows don't go as she planned. -
Yes! This x100. It doesn't even make sense to give it Carly's name since she wasn't the one who was pregnant with no support in need of a place to live. And besides, Catelynn did have a place to go - Tyler's house. I understand she wants a place for young pregnant girls who really have no place to go if they find themselves pregnant and alone, but those kind of places just don't happen overnight. If she wants the money from the clothing line to help young pregnant girls, how about putting that money towards the construction of an extra room at an existing shelter or pay for extra beds to be put in the shelter? How about giving the proceeds to an existing foundation for use towards helping those young girls? Homeless shelters, DV shelters, and homes for pregnant teens are always in need of bedding, clothing, toiletries, toys, food, etc. Hey, I have an even better idea. How about putting the proceeds towards a scholarship to help pay for books or expenses at a local college for a young girl who really wants to do something with her life? You know, instead of sitting around eating ten pound quesadillas like Cate does?

You are too funny. There are varying rules for school districts in each county and each state. Not every school district is the same. We used to be able to use a relative's address and get away with going to a school outside our district. Now, parents must prove they live at the address they give the school. I live here in Southern California. I won't get into the exceptions. Besides, no one said on the episode that Leah was going to a different school.

Fully agree particularly with the bolding. I keep thinking back to those scenes where Maci mentioned how upset her grandma would be with her if they aired the beer consumption scenes. She said her grandmother took issue with her drinking. Well, if grandma knew, then that means others had to have known as well including the Edwards. Maci sure didn't hide the fact she was drinking while underage. I think the Edwards, mainly Jen, didn't mind if Maci took off for the weekend to party and drink only because it allowed her to spend time with her grandchild. So, yes I agree that if Maci had gone to the courts for a court order and visitation schedule and opened her mouth about Ryan's drug problem, she may have faced the wrath of the Edwards. They each had something on the other.

It was infuriating to me because it clearly shows Amber, for all her talk about being a good mom, she ignores the other parent's advice about their child's sleep schedule. Leah won't take Amber seriously because to her she thinks it is funny. Amber doesn't abide by rules in the real world and she is teaching that to her own daughter. -
Funny and yet, not funny at all. They are playing with someone's else's child and that is not cool at all. I know Catelynn and Tyler don't give a rat's ass about Nova, but if they cared at all about Carly, they would back off. Leave Carly alone to live her life. If your life is spent waiting for a visit with a child you gave away while you ignore and neglect the one in front of you, to the point you don't even know if she shit or not, then you need serious help. Their issues are alcohol-related. It is time someone point that out to them or at least to Maci. Much in the same way Maci pointed out Ryan's drug issues. Matt not reacting to Amber talking about being a victim of Gary again, led me to think he knows she is just as a big manipulator as he is. He can see right through Amber. She plays the victim card and he doesn't have a care in the world for her supposed woes. He said he wasn't going to tolerate her "psychotic ass" anymore. That chair Amber was sitting on looked like an unupholstered chair.

And a tea room.

Matt for sure doesn't have a passport. He owes child support. LOL love this.

MTV is lying about Heather's firing. Isn't she an independent contractor? How could they fire her? Wouldn't the production company be the ones to fire her and the rest of the production crew? You are right about the producer being a god-parent. If that doesn't cross a boundary, how is it Heather spending the night at Farrah's make it worthy of her losing her job? I will believe Simon. He has been on point pretty much with what he has revealed. His revelation about Heather knowing too much about Matt and Amber's private life rings true with what happened during that time period when Amber threatened to quit the show. Thinking back to that time period, it seems it was Matt egging on Amber to tell MTV she would quit if Heather is not replaced. Matt knows he can leave the show, but it will continue without him. Amber is a different story. Speaking of producers, is Larry still on the show? -

It is beyond several people. There are at least 7 baby mama's, the rape victim, god knows how many other Matt rape victims are out there. The previous girlfriends who he didn't knock up, the constant side-pieces and one night stands throughout the years way before Amber ever came into the picture. Since Amber, who knows how many other girls he has been in physical contact with that haven't come forward. He may also go to some cheap prostitutes or find willing partners at the strip clubs who see him with so much cash in his hand. The possibilities are endless. Matt must have some sex addiction going on as well, but frankly, I don't care. Amber should indeed be tested for STDs at the very least, but with Matt's track record she'd be out of her fucking mind if she didn't get HIV and AIDS tested as well. If she ever goes through with the porn video and they bring in another partner other than Matt, the law would make them get tested. If Amber ever came out with a positive test, Matt would never admit he gave it to her. He'd tell her "I forgive you for infecting me." Amber and her clan of clowns really laid into Farrah for her porn video. I am beyond hoping Amber goes through with the tape only because I want to hear what those heifers have to say. They had no problem bashing Farrah for her plastic surgery and yet, Amber and Maci have both gone under the knife. Their hypocrisy is outrageous. -

I know in the real world one would have to file a complaint. I had to do just that many moons ago against a co-worker. The fact this happened on camera, would she still have to file a complaint? And why for fuck's face is there no backlash against MTV for Matt's comments? In this world where people get into a shitload of trouble for saying something that isn't PC, why is it Matt's comments have fallen on deaf ears? Where is the outrage? -
@leighroda I feel as if we are the only ones who put to use common sense along with growth and maturity when we make comments about how the kids of this show will be affected. I get that these so-called mothers are young and they are not going to learn everything after having one child. But it seems as if they don't try or don't care. The adults can barely handle the criticisms they receive from the show and sometimes they go into full-blown attack mode. Why then do they put their children in a position where they will get criticized by their peers later on in life?

I think Farrah moved to Austin because Michael had moved there. Farrah followed her dad because she needs that babysitter.

Oh not this summer. It might be next year or the year after. So, both coasts have warm water? Thank you. Are there any beaches you can recommend?

[some content removed after complaint about inaccurate info from Reddit.] For two people who have been constantly slamming the negative people, the "haterz", and have touted on more than one occasion how the only thing that matters is they know the truth and that is all that matters, they sure do go to a lot of trouble to try and prove their stories to those who question anything and everything about them. If Matt has anything on Amber, my money is on Matt already having lots of sex footage of Amber on his phone. He may have footage of her doing a threesome. When Matt said on the episode he will never marry her or love her again, that was just a peek into what happens behind closed doors. Take those statements and multiply them by 100. That is what is happening to Amber at least once a week. Matt has to keep Amber in check. She is having to constantly reassure him when he has his pity temper tantrums. See how quick Amber responds to him when she senses he is angry or upset? How quick he was to put the blame on Amber by telling her he forgave HER humiliating him on camera. Note how she didn't even defend herself or resist his accusation. I also think he is giving her medications without her knowing about it or he is giving her more than she thinks she is supposed to take. That still doesn't mean I have sympathy for her. -
Isn't that great news? We can now watch Roseanne and find new connections to the Teen Moms with our snark. LOL I have a question about Florida for anyone who can help me. We are planning a future trip to the east coast. We have been to Florida in the past and we have visited beaches on the gulf coast. Very beautiful and great warm waters. My question is do the beaches on the Atlantic coast have warm waters as well? What if we go in August? We might be headed out near Cape Canaveral area FYI.

This sums it up. Well put. I myself posted how it bothers me deeply that abuse victims would love to have the resources Amber has so they can escape their dire and toxic relationships with their children in tow. What does Amber do? She defends her mutherfucker. She picks him over Leah. Fuck off, Amber. She says she loves Matt because he is a badass. Again, that 12 year old stunted mind comes through. Wanna know who I find badass? People in the military. Veterans. Volunteer workers at our local homeless and abuse shelters. The old lady down the street who walks two miles a day to the local pet shelter so she can volunteer there all day long. I have a long list of badass people. None of them come close to what slimy Baier is in life. If Amber means bad ass, and she is really trying to convey a message that Matt has a smelly ass, I believe it. Why in god's name do we not have a nickname for that mutherfucker? -
Is this Taylor? It reads Chattanooga: I then came across this which lists new business licenses issued this past February. Scroll down to Dillon Custom Cabinets: http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/business/diary/story/2017/feb/15/business-licenses/412899/ Not to mention the camera zoomed right into Maci's flat ass. Gross.

I'd marry the bottom creature in a heartbeat.
-
Indeed. That pre-planned, staged proposal. LOL Allow me to sit next to you. I don't feel bad for her either. OH yes, the cartoon tongue that came out of Matt's mouth as he kissed Amber! OMG That was spot on. By the way, I thought it was a snake tongue. I thought MTV was making it known he is a snake in the grass. Or evil, like the snake in the Garden of Eden.

I didn't remember Shawn was married thus my reason for asking. His absence on the show makes it hard to remember much about him. Matt pretty much called him out as a pervert by blatantly stating Amber and Shawn want to get married. Incest is where Matt was going with that marriage comment. There was a second comment made about how close Amber and Shawn are, I believe. The f*ggot slur is also used to belittle and demean gay men as perverts and of course, perverts who have committed crimes are referred to as f*ggots. Matt knew exactly where he was going with his comments. No Matt. It does not mean mutherfucker. That would be YOU. Even IF f*ggot did mean mutherfucker, why is Shawn a mutherfucker, Matt? Sorry, asshole. Try telling that story to a bunch of inbreds because the rest of us know exactly what that slur means. I have a gay sibling. I harbor much resentment towards anyone who uses such a word. I wish someone would just tie this bastard up and hang him up by his balls. -
I'm telling you, Jesus ain't got time for that. His hands are full with Jenelle and her boatload of children. Ali is walking because people keep her out of her motorized wheelchair. Is Ali walking a surprise? I mean, that has never been disputed since she has been walking for quite some time now. In fact, it is the walking that will eventually be her downfall.

Yes. You are quick! Amber may indeed have mental issues. To call her a fucking psycho ass, who is now making someone look like shit in front of 12 million people? I know Amber has a major hand in how she looks on television and she does a lovely job of making it easy for people to mock her, judge her, and snark on her. I know I do. But I am not saying snarky things to hurt her nor am I saying it on camera while pretending to love her and pushing her down the aisle when all I want is her money. I keep my snarky shit here for the board. Matt is so quick to turn on her in a heartbeat. When he turns on someone, he uses his truth. He uses Amber's apparent mental illness and with Bubby, he uses a homophobic slur. By the way, is Bubby gay? Or does Matt simply want to demean him by using a slur that implies that Bubby is not as manly as Matt seems to think he is. Calling Bubby out as a faggot, makes me want to shove a ten foot pole up Matt's ass as I watch it come out of his big, nasty, foamy mouth. @Brooklynista spot on. Amber believes she is nothing like the other women Matt has been with because he has lied to her and led her to think she is. By building her up in her mind that she is different, she is the one who has made him the man he is, and no doubt he has turned it the other direction by telling her to not be dumb like those other females. I see how Matt works. -

Wetpaint forgot that one moment when Matt told the producer (what is her name?) how he was just going to act like he loved her [Amber] the rest of day. From that point on, he was just going to put up a front. I don't recall his exact words, but it was pretty funny since isn't that what he has been doing all along with Amber for the past three years? Someone please find that scene. It happened right before he sat down next to her with that glum look on his face. He then asked her for a kiss. -
Is this girl making the clothes? I have a feeling it is similar to Maci and Taylor. You know those two are the ones who likely gave Cate and Tyler the info on how to start a business. My eyes want to fall out from rolling so hard after typing that sentence. This person likely gave free reign (no pun intended) to Tyler after he forked over a bunch of money to launch this business. Do we know C&T have full ownership? Maybe not yet, but that could definitely be the plan. Really? Wow. This is the problem I always have with C&T, their version of the truth. If I were to believe them, then I would have to believe Cate suffers from depression, and I ain't about to go there.
