No. I was stunned not only at her saying such a thing, but even more shocking that no one had anything to say in response as if it is the most normal thing in the world. I don't buy it either simply because he isn't sexist. I think that term gets thrown around a lot to describe certain actions. Certainly him being Latino seems to play into that assumption, as if all Latino men are these sexist ogres who are macho and expect their wives to be home pregnant.

I don't know. Has Kail ever been on her own without some guy in her life? She wasn't even legally separated before moving on to a new guy. When she and Jo broke up, there she was with Jordan. She may not be stuck on one guy like Catelynn, but she is hardly one I would think is on her own or can be without someone. When she didn't have a guy to steal from or take something from, she took from her mother. What she has now is not due to any hard work. A big part of it is due to marrying someone who had the benefits and the credit. It is due to marrying a guy. Kail has hardly spent any quality time without someone's dick near her as a support of some kind. I used to think so until I saw how cruel and mean she can really be, especially on the reunion shows. Catelynn commenting on the after-show last night how she and Tyler spent five hours on social media as they laughed and mocked their followers who believed their pregnancy story, came off very malicious.

It was mentioned by Lupe that the forced sex occurred a month prior to the ambulance being called. She used the word "force" to describe the act committed upon her. That's what babies do. Amber complaining about having to feed Leah every two and four hours. What a bitch. She still doesn't know after 7 years what it entails to be a parent. She can't bother but throw junk food and material things at Leah. I also never got the impression Gary was a misogynist. I have not witnessed anything that leads me to believe that of him. As for Kristina caring for the kids, she is a SAHM. That is the job and the role she is happy to fulfill. She is doing the very thing Amber can't bother to do. I did witness Amber commit acts of DV upon Gary in the presence of their child. Gary didn't report her. He could have and had her put away just to get back at her. Amber was an addict and is likely still drinking and popping pills. She has never stepped up as a parent. Gary had to assume the role of mother and father for the longest time while Amber "got her GED in prison". Gary had to lay out the groundwork in order to give his child stability. In order to do that he had to set boundaries, rules, and be consistent with those boundaries and rules or else Leah would suffer the repercussions. To hell with how Amber feels or perceives what Gary does since it is for Leah's benefit, not Gary's. Amber can't see that because she is too stupid and listens to that asshole Matt who manipulates and twists everything in order to benefit him.

I see their relationship as co-dependent. They are both in an unhealthy place in so many ways. Two dysfunctional beings for sure. It is also a DV relationship. I saw Gilbert as being an abuser the first time he was shown on this show. DV isn't always obvious. It was subtle. Here is a guy who doesn't work and was content with Lupe being overweight and taking care of her needs. It was how he could control her and make her feel dependent upon him. The manipulation and guilt trips he laid upon her was part of his abuse. Once she started to lose the weight, he knew he was not able to control her. He may have had suspicions and paranoia of losing her as she began to lose her weight. As he sees her developing some self-worth, he turns to alcohol to deal with the feelings he is experiencing. I have no doubt Gilbert was a drinker before appearing on this show. I believe it has intensified due to his insecurities and his feelings that he is losing his control over Lupe. As we watched Lupe rising as she began losing weight, walking a lot more, feeling great about herself, we watched Gilbert taking a nose dive. He sought comfort in his alcohol. I don't think it was at all unusual that any drinking problem Gilbert has was not mentioned previously. Lupe didn't mention DV prior to last night's episode either. I see a co-dependent and DV relationship where some things were just not discussed or brought up. The cheating seemed to be something that truly bothered Lupe and it makes sense why that was mentioned on the air. It was quite sad, but not unusual, that it took him to cheat on her again for her to leave the home instead of leaving him due to the drinking and the domestic violence. As for Gilbert wanting a baby, IMO it was part of Gilbert's plan to control Lupe. He can no longer control her because of the weight loss, but to ensure she doesn't go anywhere, impregnating her will not only cause her to gain weight, but having a baby will surely keep her tied to him forever unlike that piece of paper called a marriage certificate which can be discarded once she files for divorce. ETA: I forgot to add, the whole sex after surgery scene was just...I can't find the words. There aren't enough words to describe how I felt as I heard Lupe mention it and I then saw her ripped belly. My god, what a sick fuck Gilbert is. He is a low-life POS abuser. He has something going on mentally and just out of curiosity, I'd love to know what his background life was about. I agree with you. I once had to tell my husband to stop using the G-damn word because our youngest had said it a handful of times when he had hurt himself. This was many years ago. My husband asked me why was I certain he picked it up from him. I informed him the only time our son used the word was when he had hurt himself such as stubbing his toe or hitting his elbow on something and he would then in a somewhat quiet manner say the word exactly how my husband would mutter the word after hurting himself. It is also a word I never use in our home so. My son also copped to it by saying, "Daddy uses the word." Parents don't always realize how much children pick up on behaviors, words, and other specific mannerisms from the people around them while plenty of parents do. I am one of those parents who does see the things my kids picked up from me. Mostly good, but a few not so good. LOL

What is going on in her life that blowing off steam is deemed necessary? The custody case? Having to call Dominoes for the 7th time in a week to deliver pizza? Running out of weed? Looking at her bank account and seeing that her six figure check has dwindled to four figures? Man, I must find me some time to blow off steam. This^^. The idea that referencing dick-hopping is the same as what Kail is being accused of with her black comments, I have to respectfully disagree. First, discussions about the girls dick-hopping is just that, a discussion about the behavior of the majority of these girls and how they view their male counterparts. It is not referencing the guys as being dicks unless it is their behavior being described. Discussing the dick-hopping ways of these girls is not being commented on in order to seek attention much like what Kail did in that chair, taking advantage of the camera which was a blatant "Look at me! I want the world to know I prefer my man to reflect my favorite color in clothes and vehicles". Lastly, the dick-hopping discussions are not being televised to millions of people on camera. Context makes a big difference. The majority of the guys are defended and seen as decent men for the most part. Adumb will always be a dick in my eyes. Kail would never give a compliment to a guy unless it was to get something in return. She pats Jo on the back for being a good dad now, but he has always been a decent guy once they parted ways. She just has to manipulate him by saying positive things so he can continue to be a free, full-time babysitter while she goes out dick-hopping.

You are correct, they were officially divorced at that period of time when they filmed, however, Kail was still dragging Javi back to her life, giving him false hope. The last incident was at Christmas 2016. Regardless, there is a big, big difference between a man looking at his former wife's body like he once did when they were a married, especially during a time when sex was still going on. Javi is not some stranger leering at a female's ass and making rude comments. Since when did it become so cool to clamor about liking a color for one's wardrobe, their vehicles and adding men to that mix?
