Wonder why Wendigo thought Claire would have a stash of gems just lying around. Sure he met Roger, but that's only 2 people he's come in contact with that are travelers. And Roger and Claire didn't give him any indication that they were intending to return to their own time.

I do remember Claire discovered Mandy's heart condition not long after she was born. I didn't think the decision to go back was made until she was older and her symptoms got worse. I keep thinking by the time they went back, Mandy knew her grandparents. But I could have made all that up in my mind.

Thanks for posting this. It's been a while since I read the book, but I was sure she was not an infant when they traveled back. I thought she was around 4. And yes, Alan did confess. There was a flash back showing him having sex with Malva. He also admitted it was his idea to blame it on Jamie. I thought this episode was wonderful. So emotional. Must have cried through 80% of it.

OMG, you read my mind. During the past two episodes, I've seen facial expression and mannerisms that are so like Paddy. And he really resembles him at times. Keep wondering if, somehow, he's Paddy's son. Mandy isn't his biological mother, right? Do we know who his mother is? I would love for it to come out that his mom had a fling with Paddy. Considering the scum he had for a father, I bet Vinny would be pleased. Plus, he needs a storyline.

And why did Michael keep going on and on about Chase having a kid? What's that all about? Chase and BLQ have only been back together for a hot second, so I hope they're not setting up another bun in the oven.

Only thing I liked about today's episode was the scene with Anna telling Tony about Dr. Rolf's latest miracle. Quick thinking there, Anna, even if he didn't buy it. The rest of the episode pretty much convinced me that I won't be signing up for Peacock at the end of June. I despise Megan and Kristen and I'm have no desire to pay to watch them as the eat up the show with this DiMera business crap. They're both insufferable. I'm also no longer crazy about Gabi and Stephen. I liked them the 1st time around, but now they grate on my last neve. And add Paulina to that too. Was it back in the Fall when 5 prisoners were released from prison with immunity to wreak havoc on the show? And now the writers are basically repeating themselves.

Same here. I had my doubts when I heard there was going to be a prequel and didn't really care to watch it. Put in on last night because I was bored. Imagine my surprise when I was sucked in after Ep. 1. Absolutely LOVED the actor portraying the King. He was just marvelous. The entire cast was wonderful. And agree with others who have said they have more respect for Lady Danbury. But that ending. Wow! Tears and snot. LOL!!!!

Why do soaps insist on making the police look so stupid? For once, I'd like to see a proper investigation where the police don't look like idiots.

I also wondered if Austin was lying about Nik being dead. Based on his interactions with his cousin, Austin has mob connections. He's said several times that he wants out. Perhaps he handed Nik over to the mob as leverage to get free himself from working with that woman boss Mason keeps bringing up (Selena, maybe?) Then the mob can use Nik as a way to blackmail Ava into doing their bidding (whatever that may be).

I don't know if I could have taken Meg Snyder of that list. Couldn't stand her. Don't know if it was the character or the actress because couldn't stand her was Summer (I think that was her name) on Days either.

Everyone seems to be bashing Josh Swickard for his singing. Something must be wrong with my ears because I think his voice is perfectly fine. There are many, many singers out there with recording contracts that sound worse than him. I don't particularly care for the style of songs they have him singing and the songs themselves have been pretty bad. I agree with what someone posted earlier. Having lip-syncing to a studio production of the song is just dumb. That being said, I cannot wait for the writers to move him out of this storyline. Rather than have that panel "take another look" at his case in the Spring, I wish the writers would have had Chase reinstated at the beginning of year, with a year's probation. No need to delay it to wrap up this business wish Brook Lynn's songs. Wouldn't be the 1st time a storyline was dropped. Actually, they probably could have done it in one scene.

I loved EJ in that scene. Had the feeling that Dan wasn't really playing EJ, but that he was just being his real self.

Same here. I find the British soaps more enjoyable, for the most part. I think many of the current storylines on Corrie right now are not so good. But all soaps go through rough periods now and then. But overall, I find the British soaps more realistic. People aren't dressed to the nines all the time, live in mansions. And they have relatable jobs.

I agree. I don't know if he shot the husband, I saw the shot as a cover. Maybe he hooked the man before stabbing himself. He's desperate to keep Trina away from Spencer hold on to her.

I don't think that's a dye job. I've read in several places that she went back to her natural hair color. (Think she looks better with darker hair, though.)

If there ARE texts from Sonny, telling Dex to do "illegal stuff,," and Michael uses the info to bring down Sonny, wouldn't Dex get arrested for carrying out the orders? So, Michael doesn't give a rat's ass that HIS flunky ends up in jail too? I guess Dex doesn't care either since he's all gung-ho about working for Michael.

It was mentioned again on today's (Friday) episode and I thought the same thing. With the emphasis on it being a woman, I'm now sure it will be a man.

After watching today's episode, my guess is that Kyle did the shooting and Cain is covering for him. He sure looked guilty about something when he was talking to Moira.

You're right about Roger having chemistry with kid. He had a wonderful relationship with Parker on ATWT. And once the writers finally decided to let one of Paul Ryan's kids survive after birth, Roger was always carrying that baby around in scenes.
