  1. Loved Jay saying 'Ew is that a real baby' with that screwed up face! Nothing against babies, I’m growing one at the moment but I always appreciate people who don’t go all gaga over them. I wonder why Chet has no access to the baby? Even with his drug use history the courts would at the very least give him supervised visits, it's very rare for a court to cut a child completely off from their parents and Chet certainly has the money to fight any judgements. I laughed when Romeo said to Rachel ‘now you have to live with that, you should talk to God about that Rachel’ about busting up Romeo and Darius. She would give zero fucks about that, that’s way down the bottom of the list of all the stunts she’s pulled. It was really odd that everyone was laughing when Darius got flattened, it’s pretty clear that’s incredibly dangerous with no protective gear on and to be tackled without warning i.e., just standing around chatting to people, not in the midst of a game. I can understand the vomit-on-shoe chick doing it because she was hammered but all the crew laughing and even Tiffany treating it like a joke didn't sit right - having spent a lifetime in football circles she would know that could have resulted in a broken back, head trauma or even a fatality. Do they really make girls wear degrading outfits like the football ones and the survival course from last week on The Bachelor?! I’ve only ever watched one season of the show - the Australian one - and they didn’t do that sort of thing. It was however standard fare for Rock of Love and I watched all of that because of the top quality programming and Bret Michael's wig.
  2. On scripted shows they use boom mics (Unreal) but on 'reality' shows (Everlasting) they use body mics, there was definitely a pack on the back of her dress. They would just be fake/dead body mics on the contestants to mimic the 'show within the show' part, the voices are actually being picked up by the booms for Unreal.
  3. I watched the Ruby/Darius scene again and she does have a big rectangle box bulge under the back of her dress so hopefully she set him up. I'm so evil ?
  4. Apparently he turned up on set like that - with the extra weight on and gross bushman's beard and the showrunner was ok with it because of his turn in character! I don't agree at all, he can't pull off being such an asshole AND look like crap. I wrote in the media section that I have a hard time knowing it's him when he's on screen because he looks so different. He looks very smelly as well but he took a shot at Rachel for not showering. I hate being so superficial but it really does take me out of the show... and I'm an Aussie so I feel disloyal ?. A female actor would never get away with changing her look so significantly without permission. If Shiri rocked up carrying an extra 20kg she'd be ordered into the gym and put on a lettuce diet. And she didn't even know that Rachel was his ex until they were talking on the truck. Yes I agree, I'm actually liking the show less each week. UO, I really liked the first episode but I'm disliking it more and more each episode. His name is Darius but I keep thinking that's Romeo's name! He suits Darius better IMO.
  5. I'd hate it if Jon and Sansa were married, it didn't even occur to me until some people brought it up on the board last week. It doesn't matter if Ned is Jon's father or not, he and Sansa were brought up together as brother and sister, it would be just as incestuous as Jaime and Cersei. Ned raised Jon as a son (as much as he could while maintaining the facade that Jon was his bastard son) and Sansa and Jon looked on each other as siblings, it would be very odd for them to get romantically involved and completely out of character for them both. And even if they did, I don't think that people are cool with cousins marrying - look at what happened to Cersei because she was sexing Lancel.
  6. I'm sorry to break it to you but most GOT viewers guessed that Jon Snow's parents were Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
  7. I've been very disappointed by some of the PTV recaps this season. Ep3 only addressed P and Soso's relationship; Ep5 was only about Tastee; Ep7 was about the inmate's hairdos (!); and this 'recap' was just poo. It's a real shame.
  8. Yes Joffrey won for most baby kills... congratulations Joffrey? :|
  9. There's a massive difference between the usual reality show manipulating to filming someone's cigarette burns and then claiming that it's self-inflicted, who would ever even think to torture someone like that. That was not a horrific edit, that was sending someone to a psych ward or worse. I work for a reality producer so have a bit of an idea about the BTS with his shows and they certainly do push the contestants with lack of sleep, stressful situations, pushing buttons, etc but calling an abuse victim a liar on national television? No way. Not that I expect UNreal to actually be based in reality but just in response to your comment about contestants in the real unreal world. People are crazy to go on reality shows with the expectation they'll make money on it, the weekly pay barely covers your rent/bills/etc and the odds are low that you'll win or that you'll be remembered a week after you're off the show; if people sign up they are best to look at it as an 'experience' rather than a path to fame and fortune. I would never do it, it would be awful!
  10. That was a new supply - Cersei ordered it to be produced and then Tyrion used the entire amount at the Blackwater so they think it's all gone. It was just a rumour that the Mad King had planted secret caches underground throughout KL, from the pleb sections right through to the Red Keep, so that he could burn the entire city to the ground. Qyburn confirming the rumours suggests that Cersei will follow through with the King's plan.
  11. Re Wildfire and the rumour that Cersei and Qyburn were whispering about, I'm assuming it's the hidden wildfire that the Mad King had hidden all over the city so that he could send it up in flames, I think it had become an urban legend because Jaime was the only one left living who knew what Aerys had planned.
  12. I'm glad we now know why Jeremy is still there. UO but I really liked him last year, I found him so hot, I liked how much he loved Rachel and I was annoyed at how she dicked him around. When he called her mum in the last ep though... that was just shitty, I didn't want to see him again after that. His character was certainly a one and done so I was very surprised to see him back ALTHOUGH, I didn't even know it was him because Josh Kelly looks so bad now! I had to look up on IMDb to see if it was JK because he looks so different. I generally hate negatively commenting on someone's appearance but his looks take me out of the story because I keep thinking it's a different character and really, he was there as the eye-candy last year so without his hotness and now he's also being totally nasty and chauvinistic his role seems totally pointless. I'm not a supermodel and my weight certainly yo-yos so I can understand how that happens but it's so disconcerting with him. I'm not sizest either and I'm fine with scruffiness, I actually find Chris Pratt much more attractive when he is bigger and scruffy ala Parks and Rec season 1 than all buff in Jurassic World but you can still tell it's CP. With JK it's very hard to reconcile the two different appearances. (I feel so mean!)
  13. That would be awesome! I would love him if he did that. What they did tonight to Brandi was hideous, it's like they want another suicide and then for Coleman to admire/like Rachel for that?! Yes it's clever for the show and got them a reaction but it's also completely sociopathic, just as disgusting as when Shia switched out Mary's medication. I don't understand how someone could want to further abuse an abuse victim. It's a shame because for me that removed Rachel's shades of grey, she's done a lot of dodgy things before but she also tried to do the right thing when she could or at least felt bad about the horrible things she did, this time though she seemed so proud of herself when it's easily the worst thing we've seen her do. Just gross. I can handle Quinn being like that but to have Rachel just be the same carries it too far. When they said The Hole I thought straightaway of Scientology! It was certainly an exciting episode packed with a lot of story but it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.
  14. I don't think it would have been in the Lannisters given how disgusted Tywin was at the situation. He probably has been in the brothels, they seem to be a hugely popular 'hang-out'! I think Bronn assumes Jaime has been with lots of women because of how attractive he is. I can't quite remember but didn't Jaime at some point in the series say something like 'the heart wants what it wants', that love isn't rational, he doesn't know why he loves her? He doesn't seem to be under any illusions about who she really is so I don't think he's idealised her in some way, he just seems fixated on her, in a way she isn't with him. I know she says she loves him and all that matters is them, etc but she was pretty quick to dismiss him when he lost his hand.
  15. Yes, perhaps if Cersei's big plan is to raze KL by wildfire and she is willing to sacrifice Tommen to do so (since she already seems to have given up on him due to the prophecy), Jaime might overrule her. And then he can join Brienne and the Starks! ?
  16. Does anyone else think Jaime will ultimately betray Cersei? After his words tonight to Edmure about his enduring love for her I do wonder if it will reach a point where he realises he has to turn on or even sacrifice her for the greater good. The show keeps reminding us that he does have light and shade rather than just making him an outright villain which leaves room for him to make a U-turn. NB - This is nothing but a guess! I haven't read the books so it may just be hopeful thinking.
  17. I'm so disappointed that Ayra really was that stupid last week and that it wasn't all just a trap that she was laying. That was such bullshit that she survived those wounds and all that blood loss so easily - what, it was a day and she was good to race around and leap off bridges?! I had such faith in the show that they were going to give Ayra's time in Braavos a great payoff and IMO, this has been a massive fail. We didn't even get to see how she defeated The Waif. It was such a bad sequence, both girls seemed to have been blessed with superpowers with the long and high jumps and bouncing back up with no injuries, I kept excepting The Six Million Dollar Man music to play! And as others have said, The Waif was apparently The Terminator. Anyway, I'm glad Ayra is finally out of there, hopefully she'll get a decent storyline now.
  18. When they are appropriately treated in our world they aren't always lethal but in this case, multiple deep stab wounds with no blood transfusion, medicine, sterile operating theatres, skilled surgeons? She'd be a goner. The theory that she set the Waif up and was wearing blood packs obtained from the Cersei actress is gaining traction in the fandom so maybe that is how she is going to escape death. I thought she looked way too surprised and scared for this to be true but it would explain why she was being so careless.
  19. Oh ta, I just had a rewatch, the first time I thought she'd overheard the shipman say that he was going to the Iron Islands but he was just talking about them.
  20. The sheer amount of blood loss would kill her - they were 3 deep stabs into her abdomen with the knife being twisted at the end and blood was pouring out of her. It also looked like the knife was going into or near her right kidney in one of the thrusts so she'd suffer kidney failure at some stage. It would be likely that even if she survived the stabbings she'd develop peritonitis or some other infection. So we'll just have to handwave however she manages to survive, hopefully it will be some type of magic to make it a little more 'believable'.
  21. Why does Arya want to go to the Iron Islands? If it's to take revenge, I didn't think she knew about Theon 'killing' Bran and Rickon and even if she does how can she be sure he would have gone back there?
  22. Yara said last week when she was making her bid for Queen that they can conquer the North so I think taking back the Iron Islands is just first step. Which is a shame because it does get a bit much with everybody wanting to take everyone else's 'stuff'!
  23. I think they'd be better off not mentioning that for motivating the Houses, the best argument is to save the North from the sadistic Ramsey. When they told Lyanna about Rickon I half expected her to say 'I'm not risking lives for one boy' which I think is very reasonable! I would do anything to save my sister but I'm not convinced that thousands of total strangers would risk their lives for the cause. I believe he genuinely wants to fight by her side and marry her because she is his best shot at becoming Warden of the North - she's certainly a much less frightening prospect for the Northern Houses than Ramsey and the more Houses that unite with the Starks the more that will fall into line (although the Wildlings alliance might continue to make things difficult). Beyond that I'm not sure what plans he has for her as we never know with him but I really doubt that he wants to harm her unless it is necessary for him to do so, I've always felt he's motivated by power not revenge but I know that point has been oft debated by the fandom.
  24. This was a frustrating episode, time is being squandered by devoting large chunks to sub-sub-plots like the commune. I was really excited to see The Hound back, through the scene I was saying 'is it Gendry or The Hound?' because it was obviously set up as a return of an absent character. I let out a big cheer when the reveal was shown (I would have been equally happy with Gendry) but they spent too much time focusing on the commune just to kill them all off, we didn't need to see all that to explain The Hound's return/redemption arc. Was glad to see Bronn as well and Jaime is getting his mojo back now he's away from KL again. I would still dearly love for him to betray House Lannister and side with the Starks but I know there's a snowballs' chance! I honestly thought Arya was dead when the Waif stabbed her and was in shock... but then she tumbled over the bridge so I realised she'd survive. How can these people live in such a shithouse world that no one offers help to a young girl with blood pouring out of her side? I wonder if Jaqen H'ghar will help her, he's such a weirdo that I wouldn't be surprised if he gave her death the go ahead and then saved her. I feel so sorry for Theon and then I remember all the awful things he did, it's hard to know if he can ever come back from that. I love Yara and I'm looking forward to her meeting Dany. Hopefully she'll tell her to shut the hell up when she starts speechifying! Superficial: I want Jon to wear his hair out, Jaime to grow his long again and thank goodness Arya isn't wearing those stupid buns anymore!
