Another new clip from "The Iron Ceiling." http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/KingPatel/news/?a=114685

An actual clip (1:35) from Tuesday's upcoming episode "The Iron Ceiling", not a promo trailer. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/markcassidycbm/news/?a=114602

Believe me, I'm far from the biggest fan of Tom Colicchio, but I think this is an unfair assessment. We're presently in S12 of Top Chef and 2 of the final 3 chefs still standing are non-white and one of those is female. In the 11 prior TC seasons we have seen four victories by persons of color (Hung, Kevin, Paul, Kristen) and an additional win by a white female (Stephanie) meaning that 45% of the TC winners to date have not been white guys.

I've actually been enjoying the bulk of the Auditions' episodes this season but last night's was just about unwatchable. The one thing I really loved was when they went out to get the family of the young man with the ukulele. The family saw his Golden Ticket and didn't even look at the judges. They were just genuinely thrilled for him. Heartwarming.

RE: Worst Dressed. Yes, Lorelei Linklater was a mess but she's young and new to the red carpet experience so I'll give her a pass. She needs to step it up for the Oscars though. My pick for Worst Dressed is Amanda Peet, another celeb who was actually interviewed during the E! red carpet show and yet not at all mentioned on FP. They've got E! footage that they're not even using. I just don't get that. Anyway, her "girls" were drooping, the dress was 1980's prom night and her hair was a mess. KG's pick of Eddie Redmayne as Worst Dressed was also completely out of left field as they had not discussed his attire at all prior to KG naming him WD. Melissa and Co. need to tighten things up.

I don't think that Sousa is necessarily on to her (Peggy) yet. I think he's just testing out the theory that perhaps the blonde in the photo isn't really blonde after all.

I totally agree. Does Joan Collins look great for 80 something? You bet. Was she the best dressed on the SAG red carpet? Absolutely not! I'd go as far as to say that her gown was awful.
-
I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way but it seems to me that on the awards' show episodes of FP now, they seem to show fewer red carpet gowns than they used to when Joan Rivers was the host. Perhaps just my perception. Anyway, a couple of my favorite gowns from the SAG Awards carpet were not mentioned on tonight's FP. My favorite gown of the night was that lovely pink gown worn by Felicity Jones which Kelly gushed over, but two of my favorites were not even mentioned--for bad or for good--and that was Viola Davis, who actually won her SAG category. You'd think that would get her a mention! My other favorite was Emelia Clarke's (GoT) gown. The FP panel used to do Best Dressed/Worst Dressed Nominees prior to actually naming Best and Worst Dressed. I miss that.

American Idol Past Contestants: What Are They Up To Now?
ProudMary replied to tribeca's topic in American Idol
Phillip Phillips is suing to get out of his American Idol contract. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/american-idol-winner-files-bold-767088 -
I've never particularly been a Kathy Griffin fan but IMO she really hit her stride on tonight's episode of FP. I laughed out loud 4 or 5 times. Her comment about Jennifer Aniston's necklace looking like the scar from a triple bypass had me rolling! That was Joan worthy! She seemed much more relaxed tonight.

BizBuzz, that exchange gets me teary each time I watch it. I loved our introduction to Ainsley Hayes :D Josh: Toby, come quick. Sam's getting his ass kicked by a girl. Toby: Ginger, get the popcorn.

Apropos of nothing, I've become a regular watcher of the ABC series, Forever. During the most recent episode (1/13) who should pop up but Lord (later Ambassador) John Marbury! It's always good to see Roger Rees. He was definitely a favorite recurring TWW character of mine.
-
When I saw (and heard) him, I said, "Lord John Marbury"! (The West Wing) Always good to see Roger Rees pop up.

I won't have any problem at all with Doug winning if he manages to get back into the competition. I'll have a big problem if George wins it all.

I disliked both Jennifer Lopez's gown and Kate Hudson's. I'm not a fan of that horrid wide plunge that shows so much of the breasts. A deep V to show off great cleavage? Sure, but this current trend is not at all flattering. JMO. My favorites were Naomi Watts (That snake necklace!!!) and Amy Adams. I thought they both looked perfect. My choice for worst dressed was not even featured at all on Fashion Police and it surprised me because she was a nominee: Rosamund Pike. That Vera Wang gown she was wearing was ill-fitting. It looked as if it needed to be yanked upwards to sit at the proper level. Very unflattering.

I love this one from "The Indians in the Lobby". Martin Sheen's delivery on the final line gets me laughing every time. President Bartlet: You know that line you're not supposed to cross with the President? C.J.: I'm coming up on it? President Bartlet: No, no. Look behind you Another favorite, although I'm not going to quote the entire speech, is from "Game On" where Bartlet tells Ritchie during the debate that "Unfunded Mandate" is two words and ends with "Can we have it back please?" Then, C.J. turns to Toby and says, "This ain't gonna be Uncle Fluffy." Awesome moment. TWW is my favorite show of all time.

George's win in the QF really bothered me. They were told to make, not just a sausage, but a BIG sausage. Melissa was one of the least favorites because the sausages she presented were too small, as she had some difficulty with the casing. But George doesn't even make an official sausage and gets the win? George didn't set out to make sausage patties; he was completely inept at actually making sausage and only made patties as he had to get something on the plate. That is what gets rewarded with immunity? Not right at all. Doug, who was the other favorite in the QF, made perfect BIG sausages, which was what the challenge called for. At some point, don't the producers step in to say that George couldn't win as he didn't comply with what was requested? Doug should have won. As for the EC, we can't taste the food but Gregory served overcooked beef to one of the judges. Based on what we saw, I think he should have gone home over Katsuji. Of course, without immunity, George would have been eliminated.

I may be wrong about this but I don't think that is CWB's wife. I'm pretty sure that he's been referred to as a single dad a few times this season.

This is not Sorkin's first use of the Ave Maria. In S1 of The West Wing, Josh was obsessed with the piece in "The Crackpots and These Women". He asks CJ if she's familiar with it and CJ responds that of course she knows it as she's Catholic.
