It seemed to me that this is a new nanny. The nanny from last season was named Dawn and this one was Deirdre, I think. I feel so bad for those two little ones. And Kensie's saying "Mama" as she's sitting in her high chair. :(

Fashion comment: I loved Cameran's swimsuit. Also very amusing: The girl in the bar "named after Carly Simon" who wouldn't give Shep her number. She leaves and Austen reveals that he already got her number. It was so, "How do you like them apples!" Ha!

For a writer who's just been introduced to the show, she sure got this part hilariously correct.

Season 4 Preview from the Charleston Post and Courier: Bravo's 'Southern Charm' is back for fourth season brimming with booze and banter

Harry Potter geek here. The character you're describing from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them isn't ZK but Carmen Ejogo who plays in essence, the American Minister of Magic. Zoe Kravitz did not actually act in the film. She only appears in an old photograph carried by the main character, Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne. We know her character's name, Leta Lestrange, but we know nothing of the type of character she will be. Hippie-dippie may still be on the table!

I just checked HBO. Currently they only have Allegiant (2016) available, which is the third film in the series. I checked both Netflix and Hulu for Divergent (2014) and Insurgent (2015) but neither platform has them available. Wish I had better news for you!

I was laughing as I was reading this because "back in the day" when it was released, I was annoyed by the fact that Rod Stewart's version was being treated (on radio) as if it were a brand new song. I recall having conversations about the song with others and saying, "It's not original. It's a Cat Stevens' song!" Full disclosure: I've never really been a Rod Stewart fan and I loved Cat Stevens' music. I did like Sheryl Crow's cover though. My "What I learned last night" moment: I had NO idea that "Shameless" was written by Billy Joel! I detest Garth Brooks and while I had listened to a good deal of country throughout the 70s and early 80s, Brooks and his ilk are what pushed me away from country music. (JMO) I don't think I was at all aware of "Shameless." Had I known it was Billy's song, I might have thought differently.

And plays a mean guitar! :D

It's been a good many seasons since Blake has not had a male country artist on his team. That is quite a surprise. And, with Taylor Alexander eliminated tonight, I'm pretty sure there are no male country artists standing. That will bring a different dynamic to the lives when America starts voting.

This is exactly what I meant in my post earlier today. They DID show both Otis Redding and The Black Crowes for the "Hard to Handle" battle. Why no mention of Roberta Flack? It seemed strange as both versions of "Killing Me Softly" were almost equally as big in their respective years.

Not only that but they showed Gwen talking to Brandon and Davina backstage just before the battle and Gwen said, "Someone's got to get stolen." So B & D must have known that they were the final battle pairing and that there was a coach with a steal left. I'd say that takes a lot of the pressure off! It would have been interesting to see what the show would have done if Adam hadn't pushed his button for Davina. Personally I thought he should have stolen Lauryn. I actually thought she was better than Davina.

That annoyed me last night. When Johnny/Julian were singing "Hard to Handle" it was shown on screen as an Otis Redding song but the Black Crowes' version. The same should have been done for "Killing Me Softly," Roberta Flack's, but the Fugees' version. I know Roberta didn't write it, but her version should have been credited. It was a big hit.

I don't know how many people are actively following The West Wing Weekly podcast but I have to say that the last three episodes have been terrific and are worth listening to even if you're not a podcast regular. The episodes in question are: 2.21: 18TH AND POTOMAC (WITH OLIVER PLATT) 2.22: TWO CATHEDRALS (PART I, WITH LAWRENCE O'DONNELL AND MARY GRAHAM) 2.22: TWO CATHEDRALS (PART II, WITH AARON SORKIN AND KIRSTEN NELSON) All three episodes are excellent, but if you only have time for one, you'll definitely want to hear Sorkin's comments on what has to be in the discussion for "Best Hour of Episodic Television of All Time." (Of course, I'm biased!)

I liked Ed. Not only did he create food that I wanted to taste, he was one of the more enjoyable personalities during that sour Texas season. Another Top Chef contestant to make the list is Justin Devillier for his (and his wife Mia's) La Petite Grocery in New Orleans. I liked Justin a lot in his season although many did not. This is a nice feather in his cap, and his wife's. http://www.eater.com/maps/best-restaurants-georgia-carolina-tennessee-louisiana/la-petite-grocery Several guest judges have restaurants on the list too: Hugh Acheson's Five & Ten in Athens, GA , Sean Brock's Husk Nashville, Mike Lata's Fig in Charleston, and Leah Chase's Dooky Chase which featured prominently in one of the TC New Orleans' episodes. I may even have missed a couple. I was somewhat surprised not to see one of John Besh's restaurants on the list, but New Orleans was so well represented on this list that it was obviously a tough market to crack.

I know I've looked at Marian Keyes' books at B&N and the library but I don't think I've read any of them. I'll definitely give her a try. A quick Amazon search indicates that she has a LOT of books to choose from! I like Jennifer Weiner's books too; I've read several of them. I was going to put her on my list but I didn't want to hog all the good authors. Give someone else a chance! I'm glad you listed her.

I enjoyed What Alice Forgot very much. It was the first LM book I'd read and it's still my favorite (along with BLL.) I also liked The Hypnotist's Love Story. I was somewhat disappointed with The Husband's Secret. Several of my friends were reading it at the same time and were raving about it though. I just didn't happen to agree. It's not awful by any means, I just don't think it was as strong as her other books. I also went back and read her first two books, Three Wishes and The Last Anniversary. While I wouldn't run out to get them, they're fun reads if you're stuck looking for something to read. I think TLA was better than TW. Then there's her latest: Truly Madly Guilty. I started reading the book, got a couple of chapters in and stopped. I felt as if she was going back to the well (of her past novels) too often. I may give it another try at some point down the line but right now there are other books I'd prefer to read. She's a good author overall though. Speaking of which, for those here who enjoy Liane Moriarty's books, what other authors do you enjoy? Song choices tonight were poor across the board.

What was the reason for the teacher to insist that Jane take Ziggy to the child psychologist if no one is going to bring up the fact that the psychologist confirmed Jane's belief that Ziggy could not be the bully? Jane doesn't bring that up in the meeting with the principal and teacher? The school hasn't been notified of the psychologist's diagnosis? If it were my kid, I'd be screaming from the rafters that he was "cleared" of wrong doing. Even though we've seen that she wonders if Ziggy could have inherited violent tendencies from his father, she should at least be bringing up the psychologist's assessment. Why show that scene last week, if they're not going to do something with it?

We did see at least one instance where she was singing and playing the piano in the nursery when the Big Three were infants. (And she took all sorts of flak here for that because playing the piano was going to wake the babies.)
