Well, that ended in the way I could accept. I had to get off of Instagram because Mother Shannon was posting a lot that led me to believe that House Balenciaga didn't win. I didn't want to spoil myself! I guess Honey was still smarting after the dustup with Law; she didn't vogue with the power or charm that I am used to seeing from her. We should have had Leiomy vogue down with Deshaun instead of Bebe Rexha. I did like that Deshaun debuted his House. Diego has himself a fan club! (I'm in it, too!) Mother Shannon will have to cut all of us. Heh. Congratulations to the House of Miyake-Mugler! I'll be ready for Season 3 in a few months. Adding to the Leiomy Stan Brigade. I forgot that she was in Willow's "Whip My Hair" video!

Something struck me as odd, so I rewatched the shows. What is it with Balenciaga and the inability to keep shoes on their feet? Kalik lost his shoes in one performance, Honey complained about her shoes, Mother Shannon fell on the Grand March performance and lost her shoe during the 3 Fab Mice runway. I would love to know the BTS tea on that!

Episode 7 & 8: I saw the dust up on Twitter about this week's show and I knew that my faves were going home on some bullshyt. Listen, I loves the Balenciagas, but they are so sloppy; sloppy to the point that my ballroom virgin eyes can see. If the Legendary House is chosen through producer shenanigans than the actual competition, it needs to be edited better so that we don't know it! Now, correct me if I'm wrong; does the Houses get to choose their own footwear when designing their outfits? Unless Honey was acting the fool backstage once she returned to the competition, she should have been able to get the stilettos she is used to performing in. Also, the judges were right to tell her to not reveal their performance issues. Other than being sloppy (as usual), I didn't notice Honey slipping. The Garcons should not have let Tonka walk the 3 Mice runway. He was the one who fell out of sync the last Ball! I loved Mother Stasha's face when she lost the Team Face challenge. Sometimes it's not good to diss the guest judge! Heh. Demi was like, "I couldn't see what y'all were seeing. I vote for the one in front of me." Guess I will be rooting for the Miyake-Muglers. Just because Honey's contract dictated that she make it to the finals doesn't mean that the Balenciagas automatically win it all...

Episode 1: I'm in! I'm rooting for Inti, Dovima Nurmi, and Drag Vulcano. Carmen Farala reminds me of Envy Peru. Drag Race is worldwide; and yet we still have queens who come on this show not knowing how to sew. Come on! You know one of the usual maxi-challenges is a sewing one. I'll bet Saggitaria was so glad she didn't have to lip sync in that outfit. How did that bitch breathe? Poor Macarena. Once the wig flies off, you will sashay away.

What would make this story more awesome is if the Chosen One is Althea instead of Nicky...

Episode 6: And to think I thought that the Balenciagas would rely too much on Honey... I loves Mother Shannon, though. She done told us that she doesn't dance, so the judges might have to dock a point or two for that. Can I be a Tisci? They are my favorite House! Simone's knees are made of titanium like Megan's, clearly. I thought Father Orrici would have given her a run for her money, but Simone wouldn't let up! The Garcons are relying too much on Tonka in their performances. Their look was over, but the performance was slow in parts.

Fun fact: That wasn't the first time Mother Shannon Balenciaga wore that tiny dress! On her IG, she is lounging on the judge's table at a Ball in that dress. I flove her!

Episode 5: Listen, Mother Shannon Balenciaga? Did not come to play with these heauxs. You know what? She was right to chop Tonka Garcon from the Body category because the judges would have ate that up! I loved the fact that Megan was scandalized and that's probably why Shannon popped her kitty in front of her. Mother Stasha Garcon isn't no slouch either. Diego... He was yummy! Dro Tisci can also get it. It was the Icon's time to go. I did have to agree with the judges on how the Muglers seem less family-like compared to the Icons. Yes, Malik tore Father Jamil Icon up, and rightfully won the battle. I'm sure they feel a bit torn up after the judges critiques.

It could just be that Art Simone was not built for Drag Race level competition. Much like Joe Black, she wasn't prepared on how things are in Ru Land. Ultimately Ru decides which queen she will favor or tell to sashay away. One good thing about it is that Art is now a Ru Girl and can use that to propell his drag to higher levels. Leaving the show has not been a death sentence, not even to the queens who left under worse things than a bad lip sync.

*read the article* Wait. Art Simone thought that RuPaul didn't know who Bindi Irwin was? No mama, Ru knew who she was and that you were certainly going to bomb as her. The lip sync song was "too black for the whites, too gay for the blacks"? Really? I wonder if Art knew he was lip syncing to one of Ru's songs? ETA: I listened to "I'm that Bitch" on YouTube and realized that line was one of the lyrics in the song. The last question still applies, though. That's not even the most offensive of Ru lyrics!

Episode 2: Snatch Game was entertaining, even with the cringe factor of the queens who didn't follow the main instruction: Make Ru (us) Laugh. I wonder if Art would have done better if he had done Steve Irwin as opposed to Bindi. That lip sync was lackluster on Art's part. Guess that leaves Coco to root for!

I watched all 3 episodes so my notes may be heavier on Episode 3. I am rooting for House Balenciaga and House Miyake-Mugler. I was rooting for House Prodigy as well. The thing about House Balenciaga is that having been introduced to Honey last season, I tend to focus more on her than the rest of the House. I am in love with Mother Shannon Balenciaga, though. "I don't dance! C'mere. I. Don't. Dance!" In the Tinseltown Ball, nearly all the Houses made the correct member selection for "Face". House Luxe was already down a member due to injury; why oh why didn't they make Becky the Face? We ended up focusing on him the most during the performance. Akasha had that deer in headlights look the entire time, poor baby. I didn't like Tati's dress during the Miyake-Mugler performance. Mother Stasha Garcon, is flawless. I applaud the Houses who pressed through personal tragedies. I don't want to cry through these episodes, Legendary! Loved seeing Jamari Balmain and Carlos Lanvin! Law is bringing his best Simon Cowell and I'm not mad. So will he be the All-Around Mother of House Luxe? It fits. Heh.

Sons are valued a bit more in Asian families, so I would peg Ryan as the youngest. Having 2 daughters then trying one last time for a son. I would say that Nicky is holding back and pulling her punches with Henry, which allows him to occasionally get the best of her.

But how would Alice know Ryan's mother's name? She showed up after her goons killed her. But yes, I am glad that Ryan would not let Alice off that particular hook. It will take Sophie a while to get out of the Crow gang. At least she is now beginning to see the bigger picture and show that she is smarter than the average Crow.

I think there is more to Henry than what we were shown; why else would we get a deeply dramatic flourish when he touched the scabbard? I wonder if he isn't part of this Guardians of the Weapons club... Can we stop with the near constant B&E? Kinda hard to root for the supposed heroine of the story if she has to turn into the Wushu version of Catwoman. So... Nicky's hand is burned when she touches the sword. We would think that she isn't the rightful wielder of that sword, right? She hasn't even bothered to study the marks burned into her hand. That same hand starts burning as she gets closer to another relic... then stops burning as soon as she has the scabbard in hand? Methinks the map to the other weapons is on her hand, perhaps? C'mon show! Are they watching the same "Kung Fu" that we are? If we have to sacrifice one of the supporting characters, let it be Althea's fiancee. Or maybe Evan. I'm not feeling him. I don't think that Razor should have beaten Nicky in the fight. He seemed like the Martial Arts training he may received wouldn't be nearly as extensive as Nicky's, seeing that she had the training of an actual Martial Arts teacher to learn from. Plus, the hooded figure that attacked Nicky in the mansion looked about her size, not the size of Razor. (I am trying not to pick this show apart, but I keep seeing the frayed threads!!) Zhilan was a bit short sighted in killing the professor so quickly. That said, I don't know why Razor sent the key along with the box! Zhilan knew what she was looking for and now she may think that Razor has the scabbard, so she will come to SF (*cough*) and kill him for it. If that doesn't happen next episode...

Episode 1: I'm rooting for Art Simone and Coco Jumbo! I'm amazed that so many of these queens did not understand the assignments given for the maxi challenge. How amazing (and shady) to have business partners and their employee competing together. Elektra needs to get it together. Jojo Zaho was a catty bitch and I was hoping she would win the lip sync, but that was so low energy. After the second queen spoke, I just gave up and put on the closed captions.

I use ground turkey and spices instead of beef and that is my youngest son's favorite dish! He even learned how to cook that himself, because I am not a fan of condensed soups and would not have eaten them in anything. He's the only reason they are in my pantry! LOL! I would love to know what went into that sauce in Gabe's dish to make a judge lick the plate.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. I was confused. It would have made more sense to say Faye collapsed at the clinic looking for Ryan. Should this show make it to a second season, the editing and writing must be tighter than this,

Nicky does need to slow down on the "flying by the seat of her pants" style of crime solving. Her naivete is quite stunning for being away for such a little amount of time. She should be at least aware of security cameras that are everywhere. Any CEO of any company wouldn't know about the workers unless they make themselves known to them. I'm glad that Althea's issue was not criminal in nature. I have a feeling that her fiancee's milk isn't that clean either. Poor Althea! I'm not liking Evan trying to "protect" Nicky in her shenanigans. Henry may have something he's trying to hide that won't look good in the light. I like Henry more as Nicky's sidekick, and yes you can learn how to pick locks on Youtube. You just have to pick locks on a regular basis to get good at it! Ryan doesn't have a partnership with a medical lab to run blood tests? Mama and Baba Shen have a lot of issues just bubbling to the surface with Nicky's return. Now that the family is in debt, I want to see how far down the rabbit hole goes in how they separately have been trying to deal with that reality. Zhilan did kill the professor too quickly. That will bite her later as she seems to be gathering the weapons at a good clip. I wonder when Nicky will realize the clues to the other weapons is probably burned into her hand? At least start looking into Shifu Zhang's family to try to keep up with Zhilan!

Exactly. Marcus Samuelsson would get way more fangirling from me than Martha.

Hopefully Bryan Voltaggio will come back. Michael will probably come back since Brooke was knocked out. He was so intense, so he'll need to relax and have fun. Jet Tila is a joy to watch. Maybe a few more of the current Iron Chefs, even though they didn't fare so well in the TOC kitchen.

We know that the Randomizer is set to whatever they feel like throwing at the chefs. I just don't need Guy breaking the fourth wall with his hamming. We don't need Hunter creeping backstage either for Season 3. I knew Brooke was toast as soon as her hollandaise sauce broke. She is an awesome chef nonetheless. Yay for Maneet! I also love her chef jackets. They are so beautiful!

Probably not. The loan shark is out of the picture for the moment. If this was written realistically, the second in command of the Triad would have attempted to collect the debt... Remember, Althea's fiancee is footing the bill for most of the wedding, and being a hacker versed in cybersecurity probably got Althea in a situation that Nicky would have to clean up later. Yeah, you don't usually get full size cakes to try. Who's going to eat all of that? Now I want cake. Heh. I knew the opening sequence was a dream and I'm also glad that Nicky isn't completely off the hook for her 3 year China detour. Mama was hot because her daughter was supposed to go to China, get a husband, and come right back to finish Harvard law school and get married. What made her angrier was that Baba was so hurt over his favorite child leaving and not having any way of preparing for his loss. Ryan, already breaking the favored son covenant by being gay, lost having Nicky as a buffer against their parent's disappointment. Althea seems to be the only one who wasn't shaken by Nicky's loss in the family dynamic and now will need help fixing whatever she got into. Nicky appears to be the middle child who Mama pinned all her hopes and dreams on, which is odd considering she had Althea as the first daughter who would normally get that pressure. I just wouldn't call it "ghosting" because apparently the Shens knew where Nicky was the whole time. Yeah, the COW was cleared a bit too cleanly for my taste. I was also wondering how she got around the city with no car. The job issue could be resolved if she decided to work at the family restaurant or the Community Center. Staying at home will only go so far. If they mix COW with the ongoing 8 Guardian Weapons saga every week, it can get old real fast. I would prefer that they focus more on the Shen family, with Althea's wedding, settling debts, and fishing out the other secrets the Shens are holding onto. Shallow moment: Yvonne Chapman as Zhilan is smoking hot.
