This sounds harsh, but Jen Psacki is a snooze fest (for me). Katy Tur and the one who has the 2-hour afternoon show ... Chris Jansing? could blend into one show. That's the thing. I wish there were more shows with 2-hour blocks. Take away two of MJ's four hours (4!) and give it to someone else. Somehow it seems Joe S is golden at the network. Maybe it is just me, but I don't see the new schedule lineup lasting.

I am trying to remember..but I think they started working from home before Covid. Was it when they moved from New York to Florida? Gotta go where taxes are low.

Why on earth do the writers think we want to see more of Sharon and Phyllis.

I am sorry, but I don't want to see Joe (and Meeka) on any MSNBC show. He is an egomaniacal blowhard. If he gets his wish (why can't the network seem to quit him) on having an entertainment show he will still find ways to make it all about him. Back when he had a high school band, back when he played guitar at campus bars, back when he led the Young Republicans in college. (I made all of that up - but you get the gist) He is exhausting. Then there is Meeka's KYV schtik, her poor little too-educated -to know-who celebrities are schtick. They are both past their MSNBC sell-by date. I guess I am just disappointed in hearing news of who is staying and who is going at the network.

I really like Alex Wagner. I am waiting for (hopefully) Joe and Mika to get their walking papers. Or at least have the show get scaled back; and for them to actually be present on their own show. If a four-hour show is too much, maybe the hours need to be scaled back. Instead of adding hosts to take up the slack but keeping the name of the show the same. I understand the network wanting to make changes, wanting to shake things up. It is maybe about time. Are the ones being let go/scaled back experiencing low ratings?

This weekend I saw what I think was a rerun. The couple had teenagers and were looking for a house on The Outer Banks. If I had seen the entire episode I would have put this under Memorable House Hunters. The wife was very entitled; husband about the same. The teens were okay - what you would expect considering the parents. The wife's fashion choices. She did not dress for her size. What appeared to be a Lily Pulitzer dress was maybe two sizes too small. Like The Grinch's heart. Lapping from my saucer of cream. All of the houses were expensive - in the millions. One had a beautiful, newly renovated kitchen; wife declared it would be a "gut job" because of the ... I think I have this correctly ... placement of the appliances? One had a nice pool with a high fence and backed up to the ocean. Dad didn't like the fact that the patio areas around it would not be adequate for hosting. But the worst part? I got a phone call and missed which house they picked! If anyone saw it, please let me know. Has anyone else noticed that so many of the houses shown these days all look kind of the same on the inside? Like no one lives in them; all professionally staged. Very nice but sterile.

This terrible idea of a tax cut (that will mostly benefit the truly stinking rich) is something most Americans - who work everyday for not a whole lot of money (compared to a millionaire or 😱 billionaire) is shocking. How are Republicans able to sell that in their districts? Why aren't we seeing the entire Democratic membership in Congress standing together on the Capital Steps...loudly denouncing and booing this? Where is the collected outrage of the Democratic Party. This could be a winner for them. And please, for the love of God, do not send Hakeem Jeffries or Chuck Schumer out to speak for all. Why aren't people of both parties jamming their Representative's phone lines? It is like they are doing this sneakily and silently. A coup, if you will. I guess the plan to mollify most of us ("the poors" to Repugs) is to give us a rebate check with money stolen from charitable organizations, Treasury Department, National Park employees and services, etc. One last thing (I promise). Musk's demand that federal employees put in writing everything they do/accomplish during a certain time period. Or be fired. But what about DOD employees (who are federal employees) who are in charge of classified information? Especially re weapons systems, terrorism, top secret info. You know - the kind of thing that Musk and his phallic ax/chainsaw loves to grab and do whatever he wants to do with it.

I think the morning lineup is the first place to start. I have no idea why, at this point, Joe would be immune to a cut. By Joe, I include Meeka. I like Michael Steele but not a big fan of his two partners. If he gets moved/promoted I hoped to see different cohosts. Let Simone and Alicia M have their own show. Jen Psaki? Meh. Sorry, I guess I am grumpy today; I guess I am disappointed because I was hoping to hear that Joe and Meeka would be gone or scaled way back. The rest? Wait and see, I guess. But I agree the network needed to make changes.

We (family) are long-time Washington Capitals/hockey fans. We had group texts and FaceTimes planned for the game. Until politics was inserted. The air kind of went out of all of us. I rooted for Team USA but was not sad that they lost. The entire series was wonderful, though. NBA? This is how you do it.

Now THAT wins the day; actually it wins the year....so far. It is unbelievable if Ian W (or another long-dead lunatic...or how about Paul?) kidnapped them. And the writers are extending one of the worst storylines ever.

For as long as I can remember she has been a business reporter. Maybe Joe didn't like her? Because for awhile, he claimed to have the power to assist in personnel decisions. Boasted about it. Well, I guess (hope) maybe he FAFO. (I have no idea if that is the correct acronym) But you get the gist.

Maybe I was not clear (nothing unusual) .... but a Canadian TEAM did not move to DC. PLAYERS from Different Canadian Teams were contracted/dealt to the NHL for a new EXPANSION team in the US. We had never been to a hockey game in our lives. Only took a couple of games (bad as the team was at the time) to make us fans. I don't mean to sound grumpy and type in caps. (pun!)😍 I am just tired and worn down. And don't want to have to think about what I did or did not mean. Sorry - I said I was grumpy but don't mean to take it out on you. So now I will fixate on the small things...is my pension going to be taken away. It is in the mix. Will I and many of us - start to resemble the Russian people (especially women) you see on tv and in the news - wrapped up in many scarves and coats - sadly walking around cities with their shopping bags, trying to find and afford food (you especilly see them buying a loaf of bread).

I edited my post about the hockey. It was even longer....if you can imagine. PR gal...the Caps were formed when some players from Canadian teams were moved moved to DC to form a new team... The Washington Capitals. I think in 1973/74. Took awhile for a hockey team to "catch on" in the area; even longer for the team to become a Force. My husband's office bought two seasons tickets and we all shared. Most of us seeing about 10 games a season. Good times.

I....and my family - were so so looking forward to the game last night. (Former long time Northern Va residents and Washington Capitals Fans). The whole series has been riveting and the perfect tonic to the times we live in. Ratings were huge. But. Our (and a whole lot of people) were disappointed when politics intervened. Mostly thanks to the GM of the USA team (not the coach ) enthusiastically inviting Trump to the final game. So you know he just had to insert himself into the proceedings. Before the game he stated what a "big hockey fan" he was, made a couple of other ridiculous remarks. Result? For me, it was like the air being let out of my enthusiasm. My brother texted me "leave it to Trump to ruin everything" ... so true. I watched the game. Group FaceTimed with family during and after. All felt the same way. And they are rabid fans. And now...... On to the breaking news of Trump apparently dismantling the Postal Service. Who wants to start taking bets that Amazon (Fuck you Jeff Bezos) will likely win the contract when the Postal Service is gone. Let the "sports betting" begin. Another billionaire gets even obscenely richer on the backs of regular citizens.(I am also sick of Musk throwing his phallic ax around) I am exhausted and sad most everyday about what is happening in our country. This hockey series was so fun at the beginning; but was not sad that Canada won. Yes, I also know that fans from Canada had been booing our national anthem. Fights ensued. (part of hockey culture) Did not last long; and pumped up enthusiasm on both teams.

We just sat through what seemed like years of the Sharon saga. Now the focus is on The Winters Family. Other than Lily, perhaps the dullest family in soaps. With mostly underwhelming new players added. Phyllis returning as a "player" and having an irritating gnat as a daughter. But worst of all? Victor. The writers are insulting viewers and the character. I would say also to the actor; but I don't think it is. I don't know about anyone else, but I truly need some escapism via a soap. Escapism should make us look forward to watching everyday; and fun. Then there are the cheap, tacky sets, hairstyles and fashion for the women. We should not be having to poke fun at Melody Thomas Scott; but here we are. Sally most of the time looking hooker-ish. Phyllis is beyond redemption. If she was a better actress, she might be able to carry it off. Maybe someone could glue her arms/hands to her sides. I agree on Stephanie Ruhle; I would like to see her have a daytime show again. I am not sure about a show starting at 6am is the time (for me) to focus on entertainment. Meaning celebrities. I still like the idea of a news-centered show; but one that would include sports news (besides Red Sox), entertainment news, weather, etc. I still enjoy the political discussions; I just want to hear them from a new set of hosts. Maybe Michael Steele; and anyone he would want to bring onboard.

I am probably not in the right frame of mind to watch a West Wing reboot.

I caught some of Chris Matthews' appearance this morning. He was at a table with Meeka and a couple of others. Meeka finally spoke not long before the interview ended. Was Joe involved? I didn't see him but then again, I didn't see the first part of the interview. Is Matthews maybe on the train to come back? 🤑

I really hate to say this, and I certainly don't mean to be sexist, but. Sharon Case and Michelle Stafford are both terrible actresses. SC was okay when she played innocent heroine and didn't have to emote all that much. MS seems to be deliberately making the choice to be an arm/windmill-waving lunatic. I honestly (sadly) cannot think of any of the men on the show who are quite as bad. Nick notwithstanding. He at least can play the nice guy when warranted.

Honestly, nothing ever written on this show - or any show in the history of soap operas, movies, documentaries, etc. would ever be as wonderfully descriptive of an actor's choice of interpretation as this right here, above. 😱 I missed it but thanks to surfgirl - I was right there. I could just see the "actress" writhing. The plus side? I got a really really good laugh. Her scenery-chewing takes any focus off other actor/actress in the scene. Instead of "Abby" - MS should have been the one put on recurring. And now she is being shoehorned into the BillySally story and the "big" business story that is brewing with whatever it is he is plotting. We will be subjected to her tics and scene-stealing constantly. She is like the plague - mowing down other actors/actresses, terrible emoting, etc. And it would take a cleansing by a priest to put her on the back burner. Again.

I didn't notice any mention of MJ's ratings going up; unlike many of the other shows. And the comments? Almost all have returned to MSNBC and love it; most hosts were mentioned. But not Joe and Meeka. Hmmmmm

Is there any hope of bringing Tucker (the actor) back?
