I am afraid that it will never be over; it will morph into a new storyline featuring Sharon and Phyllis. Throw in Tracy. The "twins" were actually triplets. They have an avenging cousin. Better yet...an avenging sister. Jordan was their aunt. The more ridiculous...the more it will linger.

I can't remember where I saw this story - possibly Mediate. Apparently MJ is doing okay in the ratings - it is beating CNN. This is why they will probably never be fired or asked to take a pay cut. The media did the country a huge disservice by the lack of coverage for the Hands Off Protests. My Facebook feed is full of pictures and videos. Lastly, re Meeka's purse cleanings. Those were the days of the Slap and Tickle - when the show was in its prime. Meeka had the short skirts and stilettos. Viewers wondered if there was something going on. Joe was not quite so full of himself.

It seems like Hallmark's "Trilogy" movies are not that great. Remember those "Veil" movies. With Lacey Chabert; the actress who plays Hanna Swenson and... Autumn Reeser? They were sort of "okay" - probably would have been worse without the cast. But this "Around the Table" series, to me, has been a sort of goose egg. I liked the male lead in this week's movie. I am not familiar with the female lead but she was attractive and a decent actress. A little bit of Ashley Newbraugh goes a long way.

Did they cover The Marches this weekend? I imagine Meeka would have found a way to spin them into KYV.

Mr. Kemper retired from a large federal tax collecting agency (😍). I am waiting for him rise up and go beat the daylights out of the people who fired the IGs. They were the watchdogs and guardians at the gates of federal agencies. If an IG arrived at your agency's door and took the elevator to your floor...people were in trouble and heads would roll. Jail time could ensue. Without them? People like Elon Musk getting access to federal payrolls, SSNs, the data from IRS and Treasury, etc. ... could result in the destruction of any citizen's life they choose to. Or company. It is terrifying. The worst part? No one is stopping them.

ProudMary... thanks for your kind remarks. I thought I was the only one who cannot figure out why many of the movers and shakers, protestors and "power to the people" boomers ended up being conservatives as they aged. A lot of them seem to be living in condos and retirement communities in Florida. (no shame on Florida - your tax system draws many in. I can certainly relate) An added draw is the apparent abundance of sex. There have been articles about the instances of STDs in those places. I guess the 60's/70's adage of Sex, Drugs and Rock'n Roll has never gone away. Rock on.

Yes, in a real world. But it is one of the main things - other than Victor always winning - that you can count on happening. The writers have not had a new playbook in decades. Actually, I am at the point where I cheer when Nicki (and Michael) get screwed over. And. From the playbook. They will continue to serve their master.

Why?

My group attended a rally yesterday. In our mostly red county. We had our signs, water, ID, hats to keep the sun off, snacks, and most importantly..chairs. We are ages mid-70s to early 80s. It was wonderful, moving, and.... a bit sad. It was likely the last rally/protest that some of us will be able to manage. We made the most of the opportunity. We were even interviewed and photographed by the local newspaper. Hopefully this will encourage others, no matter what age, to come out! Be seen! Make a noise. I needed a cold beer and takeout Chinese when I got home. Another had the beer and a barbeque sandwich. Etc. And a shower! It had been a really hot day.

Joe lives in his bubble that celebrates his imagined glory days in Congress. He simply cannot face the reality of what he and his cohorts wrought. Always keeping the core value of Trickle Down Economics that features tax cuts for the wealthy. That has never worked - except for the millionaire class. At his base? He is the same as he ever was.

Will any of the networks cover the Hands Off March today? Maybe CNN or MSNBC. They covered Trump's ridiculous rallies (when he wasn't even President) ... so I would think these marches, all around the country, would be newsworthy.

I have no idea...it popped up on my Facebook feed. Shocking, I know.

To start today on a fun note. The creators of "Cats on a Couch" have a new video that features penguins. It is in response to the tariffs Trump imposed on their island (no actual humans live on it). They are dancing (the routine is fabulous). A poster suggested that it is about time the deadbeat penguins paid their fair share. 😍 One of the best parts? They are using the same song! Yessss.

I wish there had been a way for Clinton, Obama, Biden and Bush to have attended the transfer. Also...what caused the deaths of these soldiers? I have not seen much, of any, coverage on this tragedy.

Remember Meeka hysterically leading the charge (in her "cry voice") every morning, on how mentally sound Biden was. Joe was defending his woman. So if Joe gets bashed, Meeka should take her share. And yes, ebk57, you are So Right. Gutfield is a disgrace of a human being and should be sued by the entire country for just putting his face in front of a camera.

Someone, somewhere, posted that it could be Cane. I also think that the actor loves to promote himself. Epic fail.

Thanks to those who commented on "Cats on a Couch".... mainly because now I know all the lyrics. I love it when the song is playing in the background and the video shows cats (real ones) posing and flexing (thanks to their owners) while images of couches float up and around. I have "reels" on my Facebook page - that is where I first saw it. Just a bit of it - but I was hooked. I try to watch it when the news all around me gives me a case of the sads.

The thought that Cane could return....with the same actor...would, for me, put the final nail in the coffin of my viewership.

On a lighter note. The references to JD Vance and a couch. Has anyone seen the "Cats on a Couch" videos on Instagram? They are laugh-out-loud funny. The whole thing was apparently started by two guys (who John Oliver featured on his show) who wanted to see if the cats got more followers than JD Vance. And they have! One of the best things? There is someone singing during the videos - in a kind of semi-nasal voice that goes .."We're in the middle of a hostile government takeover, I want to talk about it but I'll be late for work" and continues. I don't know the rest of the song because I don't have Instagram, so I get cut off after the first verse.

Was Joe on yesterday? How about today? I only ask because I know he goes in and out during the show. And he seems to be out when I tune in; but I only tune in briefly. Millennium...thanks for the link. *****Nevermind, I just saw him. Sorry. ******

At this point, I don't really give a tinker's damn about any of this. Not even a tiny bit. Stupid names for the new people. More Victor machinations. Same old scenery, same dialogue. Are we ever going to see the new Abbott "mansion" ... and if things run true to form... it will be a letdown. Or terrible. I guess watching true-life unfold makes me long for an hours escape. And this show used to be just that.

The show was so much ... dare I say "fun"...back then. I call it the "slap and tickle" days.

The Royal Matchmaker is one of my favorite Hallmark movies. Right up there with the Danica McKeller one...A Crown for Christmas.

The donut incident, along with the Paris Hilton fake walkoff.....is what turned me on Meeka. Or at least was the beginning.

Is Chelsea's mother still alive? If so, she should develop a critical disease resulting in Chelsea, Connor and Adam having to go and care for her. All three of them stay. When show gets better writers ... maybe Adam can come back (sadly, perhaps as a recast; because his character has been ruined). He and Chelsea have divorced - she is keeping Connor. Hopefully we will never see the two of them again. LIke Christian. Wish there was a way we could make the entire Alexander Dumas storyline disappear. Along with Daman and Amy.
