Okay, I'll just come clear. This was the episode where Philip slept with Kimmy, a line he thought he'd never cross, a girl who "could be his daughter". And I felt what I can only describe as a sadistic sexual undertone to the fight scene between him and Paige. The way it was shot seemed to mirror Elizabeth "sparring" with her trainer in the pilot. Not that Philip raped his own daughter, of course, but. And thanks to @duVerre for the reply, very good one.

I'm a bit reluctant to bring this up (for obvious reasons) but did anyone else catch a quite disturbing undertone to the way that fight scene was shot? An undertone only strengthened by the show going out of its way to model Paige into a younger and a zillion times more naïve version of her mother, to the point of ever-increasing physical resemblance?

Absolutely hopeless. I've been ill with the flu, couldn't muster getting out the last review. And this one, Jesus unholy Christ... I don't even know how to make sense of this confusing mess anymore. I don't know what to say. Barbara's storyline has to be the most obnoxious, insipid trash Gotham has grazed us with, and this episode they actually allowed them to infect EVERYTHING with its nonsense.

Then I fear you will be disappointed. I think it's pretty clear from the run of events that Liz will indeed ultimately fail but Phil will pay the price.

Do they do that with a tranquilizer gun?

You know what, I love Paige and I love the actress. I never understood the Paige hate. I guess it's same as I loved Julie in Friday Night Lights. Doesn't mean I want to see a bloody spinoff with her. As for predictions Liz will live and Phil will die. This much is obvious. If the characters had been the same and the genders were reversed, the outcome would've been reversed.

Bruce is so rich he can have anything, anytime. Maybe he just really likes bundt cakes?

It's completely without danger since Lee is a canon character... ;) Seriously though he killed Kristen because she told him she'd have him arrested, and I doubt Lee will. Ozzie's jealousy though, always a threat.

I don't know how to write this review but I'll say one thing, I LOVED Ed and Lee's story tonight. It's like... yeah. They sold me on that relationship, as insane as it sounds.

With the way this is going, Philip is a dead man. He won't survive. I think Elizabeth will. Narratively speaking I think her getting the suicide pill means she's safe.

Hmm... No. If anything I think he's grown as an actor. The "Bratman" act was really well done. ... but. I'm not sure if David has really "found himself" in the young adult role like he inhabited his young teenager role, and I think that may go for him both on- and off-screen, and that's perfectly understandable for a guy in transition. He absolutely nailed the innocence/vulnerability/depression/resiliency/darkness tone of thirteen-year-old Bruce Wayne.

They're hit and miss AKA "click-bait". Maybe sometimes they have some insider gossip but I famously remember them talking about how CSI:Cyber would be renewed...
