  1. That line about him taking Rumple down with him was rather ominous. I wonder if that will happen eventually. And I'm not just talking about Emma and Belle being mad at them. Maybe they'll end up both sucked into the hat somehow? Just a guess. I wish the zelena incident didn't happen in 3b, because i like this "hook gets cursed" storyline better. Blackmailing Rumple was stupid, but how the kiss curse was handled was worse in my opinion.
  2. Honestly, this episode my brain explode. I don't know what to believe anymore concerning whether or not the hand was cursed. Rumple warns him that the hand is bad, then he says it's just hook, but then he also admitted to being a lying liar who lies all the time. I don't know what to think. It makes me sort of excited, because I'm not quite sure how this whole ordeal is going to turn out. I'm also worried for the exact same reason, because knowing A&E, this could all go horribly wrong. And assuming that the author is the same as the real sorcerer, I'm actually surprised how they seem to be setting up this season long arc so early on. As for everything that was ooc for Killy, i honestly loved it when he stabbed Rumple knowing it's pointless to try harming him. I love to hate SparklyDark! Rumple and I love Rumple and Hook as arch-nemeses. I also cheered when Anna bested Rumple, even though it will surely come back to bite her. Seriously hoping Hook tells emma. He should know better after the zelena debacle. Come on A&E, don't let me down (probably unlikely, but I can dream)!
  3. Henry's always been neutral for me too. He has his moments. It'll be interesting to see where Operation Mongoose goes.
  4. I've been enjoying the flashbacks too. I also really like how the flashbacks are in order. They aren't skipping around causing timeline confusion.
  5. I don't care about the flaws, I loved this episode! ALL THE BLACKMAIL!!!! ALL THE DECEIT!!!!!!! THAT BACKGROUND MUSIC!!!! Episode MVP: MICKEY THE FREAKIN' MOUSE!!! Runner-up: RUMPLE!!!!! Glorious, glorious Rumple... Surprised that the CS date was so short, but It didn't matter because everything else was awesome. Liked seeing pirate killy again. Also, Rumple called him a puppy! The way Anna and Hook were being paralleled though... I honestly thought for a second, that Rumple was going to try getting Killy to cry in order to steal his tears. Also, it makes me wonder if there is still hope for Killy triumphing over Rumple in the future because they showed Anna besting Rumple. Favorite scene of the night: the Captain Crocodile car scene. The nostalgia.
  6. His scene with Annaliese seemed to hint at the possibility of him using Rebecca in order to get more info on the case. Like he said, she kind of trusts him now, so it looks like he's going to take advantage of that. Regarding the flash-forwards: we now can't be sure whether he's protecting her due to his feelings for her, or for a more nefarious purpose. The sketchiness adds some mystery to Wes' character.
  7. I doubt Rumple will be able to hold onto the sorcerer's hat forever. The good guys wouldn't let him keep a super charged magic energizer bunny in his back pocket, unless he can keep it a secret. I'm thinking the hat will be destroyed, locked away/sealed forever somehow, or it'll end up in the bad guy's hands.
  8. FavFable, Interesting views. It's so crazy how people can interpret characters and stories so differently, and it's fun to read all the different analyses too (as long as nothing gets too hostile :)). So I guess we shall agree to disagree then? I hope you get your Regina time soon! I'm still looking forward to her arc with the storybook author! And I hope you enjoy Wonderland if you get around to watching it!
  9. Hmm...more...gracefully, I guess? It's hard for me to explain. The road to redemption is a bumpy one, but I think something hasn't exactly clicked for Regina yet, which probably should have happened in 3b. Take for example Hook, he's working hard for his happy ending, but he has accepted the fact that people don't have to forgive or trust him because of past misdeeds. He's lucky that he's even getting a shot at a happy ending and he knows it too. Regina seems to still think her happy ending should be be served to her on a silver platter because she's been trying to be good for like a year and half. It's not that easy regina, but I wish you luck.
  10. I could see season 1 henry being Toto, but season 3 Henry? Meh. It's a stretch for me.
  11. That's a hard question to answer. I think I like them equally for the most part. Wonderland had significantly less time to screw things up like Once has. I enjoyed it. It starts out slow, but halfway through it really picks up. If you're up to giving it a shot I'd say go for it. It's only 12/13 episodes, so if you don't end up liking it, the worst that has happened is that you've only wasted about half a day. If you decide to watch it, try to watch it to the end. If you are worried about the future of Regina or the show I think the Wonderland finale will give you plenty of hope. It was a genuinely happy ending. If A&E can make a good finale for Wonderland, then they can do it for Once. And for what it's worth, Regina may not be my favorite (Captain Charming Swan fan here), but I still appreciate her character. I only wish A&E handled her redemption a little better. When she's written well she can be an awesome character. If you like Regina I think you'd like or at least appreciate the Red Queen from Wonderland (I love the red queen). Give Wonderland a shot. I'll risk you hating me for wasting 10 hours of your time if you don't like it. Then you can discuss it over in the Wonderland board, because there's a lot more I'd like to say but I don't want to spoil you!
  12. I guess we could chalk it up to Rumple having some use for Killy involving a nefarious Sorceror's hat plan. It's been a few days since he discovered the hat, so maybe he already formulated six dozen different schemes that would need the use of a pawn like Killy ( and thus paralleling anna)?
  13. Yay! That is slightly encouraging, but now I'm having flashbacks of Back in the Game. I think they got a few more orders, but still got cancelled. :(
  14. Lizard's fate did seem hard core compared to the consequences from alice's wishes. Her dad merely waking up and thinking what had happened was a dream, seemed a much lighter punishment. I had almost wondered if they were going to show him getting carted off to the psycho ward at some point. But they didn't. I think the Sultan's death disturbed me more than Lizard's fate. I was not expecting that. His death did bring his and Jafar's story arc full circle though. He shouldn't have tried drowning his kid.
  15. Agree with these points. If Anastasia is going to make an appearance, it will most likely be in 4b, unless they decide to surprise us. I want Regina to meet Anastasia; she could learn a thing or two from her. Love the Rumple/Hook dynamic. Poor Marian. I liked her. Those townsfolk :( at least Archie is trying to resist being sucked into the mob. Where has Pongo vanished to?
  16. Hook could have been a possibility for the tin man/heart, but then who would have been Emma's Toto?
  17. I wish he would spend a little less time with Regina and more time interacting with the others. It would be good for him. Stick him with charming and Killy like they kind of did in Witch Hunt. Has Robin had a single scene with Rumple in the present yet? I'm drawing a blank. And other!Robin is all I can recall about them sharing scenes in he past.
  18. I wish we could have seen just a little more of Oz. And I'll admit I was happy they made the decision that the main cast would never physically visit oz. I think the writer's had some good ideas, it's just their execution tends to fail. I thought the time travel ingredients were a neat homage to the 4 main book characters. And I liked how it paralleled with what the 4 witches represented. But we hardly got to see them, and Glinda was made out to BlueFairy-lite. One of the problems though, was that zelena was way overpowered and it made it seem like conjuring time travel spells was a piece of cake. Was time-travel magic forbidden, or was it against the laws of magic? Maybe I should quickly refresh myself on 3b shenanigans. And second, was it ever shown how Zelena learned that time travel was possible or what needed to be done? What was everyone's opinions on who fit what Oz character? I wasn't around here during 3b discussion. I'm still flabbergasted on how Regina=the tin man/heart.
  19. I don't think adding Will can be considered a ratings stunt. Hardly anyone watched OUATIW. I've seen people joke about being 1 of only a dozen who actually watched Wonderland (myself included). FavFable and RockyBeach, are you Regina fans? Just want to clarify. If you like Regina then don't give up. It sounds like she has a season long arc going for her with the mystery author, and will get plenty of focus in 4b.
  20. I think i was genuinely happy when walsh was revealed to be the wizard. Was he misused? Yes. It was a small twist that i wasn't really expecting. Wish we could have seen more him as the wizard.
  21. Haha, sorry about that. I didn't mind it, but I did wish to see a little more of her. But I suppose they were limited on time. When lizard was first introduced, I thought she would have permanently joined alice and will on their quest to save Cyrus, but she didn't. What angered you more the most about her character? Or at least what the writers did to her? That she was in love with Will or because she was used as an example for the whole "be careful what you wish for," concept? Or perhaps another reason?
  22. That would be fun to see, i'll admit. And Bobby would enjoy it, because anybody can see he ships Rumple x Evil more than Rumbelle at this point. Sometimes I wish A&E would just say "to heck with it" and decide to screw with the entire fandom by creating the most ridiculous ending to the show possible. I would still watch it. Make Rumple go full evil, have him off Belle, Snow stays as mayor and eventually realizes her true love is Dr. Whale. Pan returns and whisks Henry away to Neverland forever. Regina becomes queen of the pinecones, then gets eaten by Ruby. Granny becomes sheriff. Emma goes back to New York. Captain Charming elope and go on a bunch of adventures across the realms. They occasionally have camp outs in the woods with Robin. Marian becomes high queen of everything because she seems to have the most common sense.
  23. A Christmas episode could be loads of fun. Also, at least Emma's been sticking up for herself more lately (calling Regina bitter, not apologizing about saving a life). Baby steps.
  24. Yes to the marathoning! That's the way to go with some shows these days. I'm never bothered by pacing too much. A lot shows start out slow because they have to introduce the characters, world, and the concept. To me Wonderland picked up in episodes 4/5. And by then we were almost half way done with the show, so why not just finish it? Am I the only one who liked Jafar? Be honest, was it because everyone was jealous of his glorious hair, that no one liked him?? I liked the ruthlessness part about him. I found it refreshing compared to regina and rumple, who favored overcomplicated schemes. That's why he reminded me a little of Cora (I loved Cora). And we got a villain that was evil just 'cause. He didn't really let his sob story take control of his life like regina or rumple, as evidenced when he killed his father. He just wanted power. I loved to hate him. Compare him to Zelena. She knocked people out and turned a fee people into monkeys. She never even used that cursed needle she took from Regina. Whereas Jafar killed half the heroes. Ana and I'm counting Cyrus even though it could be argued that he may have been an inch from death rather than actually dead. Jafar vs Amara was >>>>>> regina vs. zelena too. It could have been because their's was a finale battle rather than a regular episode duel. I don't know what the budget comparisons were though. If i had to choose him or the jabberwocky to jump over to the main show i don't know if I could. Most people would probably choose the Jabberwocky. The only problem with that choice is that A&E would have to end he series because all the main characters would be reduced to blubbering messes. The jabberwocky would use their bones as toothpicks. I love how the general consensus about the Jabberwocky from what I've seen was that she was most likely wearing a skin suit. Loved Nice tweedle, felt bad for Lizard. Amara was awesome. Wish Alice's dad would have kicked the evil wife out of the house. I doubt that would happen due to the era they lived in, also I would feel bad for the little daughter, who was genuinely nice. And if some people in the fandom complain about the lack of POC characters in the main show, they should have given Wonderland chance, but that's just my opinion. Honestly, now that they've introduced will, if the glorious Galavant wasn't going to take Once's place I wish that they would play Wonderland in its time slot during the break, like they were originally supposed to do.
