  1. Sara and Amaya did go off to drink together at the conclusion of the crossover. I don't think they're showing us all their bonding moments, but perhaps they should show more.
  2. I honestly don't either, but it's an idea! Maybe they'll go forward in time, meet Mari, and Amaya will realize that she needs to return to her village for this to happen.
  3. In Season 1 of the animated series, it was established that Mari's early childhood was in Africa, her mother had the totem before her, and that she effectively came to the USA as a refugee of sorts (the African landscape depicted looked an awful lot like the Kenyan desert backcountry we saw in Survivor: Africa, many years ago). So if Amaya winds up going to Africa to use the totem to help her ancestral Zambezi village, it would tie in perfectly. What if Amaya goes back to her time period, and returns to her village, already pregnant with a fellow Wave Rider's child?
  4. It's hard to say now because Obsidian told Amaya that they haven't seen her since she left with the Legends in 1940s, so presumably she doesn't make it back, or she goes into hiding. So it's possible time was changed so there's no granddaughter Vixen. Maybe Vixen does go back to a time, but not 1940. Maybe she ends up being Mari's mother instead of grandmother. But I have not seen the animated series so I have no idea about what goes on there. Or what if she goes back to her time period, and returns to her village, already pregnant with a fellow Wave Rider's child?
  5. Yes to both. She can't be removed from history, and Stein has a new vulnerability.
  6. Both Jack and he rhetorically asked whether there were too many presents under their respective trees!
  7. Jennifer Hudson played Shug Avery in The Color Purple on Broadway until a few months ago. She famously complained about not getting a Tony nomination.
  8. I thought that Rebecca was going to try to give it to Kate to take into the operating room, but she didn't. She held onto it while Kate was wheeled away. I think she goes to work after she drops the girls off/puts them on the bus. She is always dressed professionally on school mornings. She probably works part-time and is present when the girls get home from school, and perhaps she works from her home office during school breaks. A mention of what she does would be nice.
  9. Toby was originally going with Kate for Thanksgiving, so she might have told him at least the town, and certainly Randall and Beth's names.
  10. Once kids find out that the Santa story is made up, what happens to any belief they might have held in God's existence? Wouldn't an 8 year old assume that if one were made up, they both were? I've always wondered. (And if you add in the tooth fairy. . . .)
  11. Jack works hard, not Rebecca? I know his paycheck pays for the presents, but still.
  12. Agreed. I believe the card wished Merry Christmas to "My Randall" which sounds pretty loving. Also, $20 is a lot for a 9 year old even now, so I'm guessing they got the same. Wasn't that a Christmas Eve party? Or are you saying he had his attack after midnight? Well, she didn't originally want to be in a play with "The Manny" so I guess she reverted to her original feelings once he told her off.
  13. I think they had a buffet, not a sit-down dinner. I think he was in shock, and when Beth suggested getting out of there and picking up the girls, he agreed. Wonder if he also picked his bonus check off the floor. He's going to need it to pay for the boat.
  14. When Louis said that Jessica had been called for jury duty due to her recent citizenship application, I immediately thought "doesn't that seem wrong to you? You know that non-citizens can't vote. Why would you think they can serve on juries? I believe that potential juries are drawn from the Driver License database and that if Jessica had actually read the summons, it would have stated that she needed to be over 18 and a citizen in order to serve.
  15. I can see what they were going for, but I'm not sure if it makes sense for the entire team to default and give the visiting team an unearned win rather than doing their best to defeat the visiting team and then trying to get the kid who wouldn't wrestle Kenny barred from future meets. Next, if Kenny was ok with it, Shannon could be in charge of alerting the media to what had happened, in an attempt to shame the entire visiting team and their coach, who were likely aware of what was going on, and therefore complicit in the individual wrestler's prejudice.
  16. I think so. If this is the case, then the title must indicate that we'll see maybe a flashforward of William on his deathbed. I don't know why they'd have Last Christmas as the title unless they're going to reference whose last Christmas it will be. It could have a double meaning, and they could flash back to a Christmas that we find out is Jack's last Christmas (although it seems rather early in the show to reveal that), or it could also refer to Dr. K's last Christmas, which I think is more likely. If he was in his 70's when the kids were born, I'm going to assume that he's no longer alive, in which case he's definitely had a last Christmas!
  17. We only found out about the aliens looking for Mon-El from that bit at the end of the crossover on The Flash, correct? If you didn't watch the Flash episode, you wouldn't know?
  18. I was thinking this might be William's last Christmas, but it doesn't necessarily mean he dies on December 25.
  19. I wonder if Randall will buy the cabin from his mom. He can probably afford it and his family might enjoy it. He was certainly bagging up a lot of possessions there. How much stuff could he have had?
  20. Yes, and as many people have mentioned, what is the good of an alien-killing virus that can't kill the main aliens whom Lillian hates, Supergirl and Superman? When Cadmus took over tv/the internet to announce that all aliens were about to die, I was thinking "except Supergirl!" I don't believe that Alex would want to announce her big secret to everyone at the same time instead of talking privately to her mother. Then she could talk to J'onn, Winn, and James. Why would she even announce it to Mon El? She's not that close to him. Is she going to make a mega-announcement at the DEO? Finally, woudn't the moment when Mon El thought he was dying have been a good time to admit he was the Daxamite prince? I suppose the reveal has to wait until the aliens who are looking for him appear?
  21. All this is true, but if they got there at 1 (lunch would be the free samples, or they could eat sandwiches in the car) they'd still have 4-5 hours. A line from Jessica about how only lazy people who don't plan properly go to Costco in the afternoon would have been appreciated!
  22. Ridiculous how Jen's second opinion doctor blamed her for infecting him. Wear a mask! What's more interesting is how Greg and especially Lark aren't sick all the time. Wouldn't she want to do whatever necessary to protect Lark? And if she's still infectious, why is she at a family dinner breathing on everyone? Either she's infectious, or she's not.
  23. How did Randall get in William's apartment? Did he get the keys from his room?
  24. That's a good point. It also means that Megan won't be around for long.
