I just came to say the same as the second quote. I see what they were going for, but it didn't actually make any sense because it's not like little Kate was wearing an adult XL. Are you sure that Kate doesn't get, based on the labels, that she is at the largest end of girl's clothing and her mom is near the smallest end of misses's sizes? (I believe that a girl's XL is 16). And if it's true that a girl's XL is not much smaller than a miss's S, and Kate realizes that, how much the sadder she must be.

How likely is it that all of the employees would have the same polling place? People who live a quarter mile from me vote in entirely different locations. The store might not even have been the place Matteo would be voting at, much less every single person we saw working there on Election Day.

I didn't know that the polling places had to be within walking distance. There were always organizations offering to drive voters to the poll. I've only voted in 2 northeastern states that I'm fairly sure do not use garages. If nothing else, the weather might be too nasty in November. Are you in a warm state?

I could not disagree with this point of view more. I personally am still trying to come to terms with an abortion I had 21 years ago and, to me, to casually let a teenager think it's hilarious and a day in the park is beyond irresponsible. We don't all find it so easy to deal with and that should be a consideration for any young woman finding herself having to make that decision. I think Duke was there too.

I didn't get my first minivan until my daughter was grown and on her own! Third child. Two car seats and a booster didn't fit well in the back seat and also no room for a play date passenger.

Can Adrian Shaw do something temporarily to Red's blood so that his DNA will either match or not match Lizzie's? (Not quite sure which way at this point.) I feel like I've seen that done somewhere before. Not sure why Lizzie didn't just ask Kirk for a swab when he was in custody and have her own DNA test done under circumstances where she wouldn't suspect Red of fixing the results. I know there were times constraints, but I don't think they would have done Lizzie's dialysis before knowing she was a match. Also, did anyone believe that there was a coincidental, huge bus accident? It seems like there should have been a top secret medical site where Kirk could have been held that would not accept trauma victims. Finally, Kirk's known for years that he was ill. If he was willing to consider using Agnes as a donor, why hadn't he tried to create a donor through in vitro fertilization? Parents have done it to create donors for their sick older children. Perhaps he tried and it didn't work. She said she was his lawyer. That may even be true.

I didn't get this, either. I just chalked it up to William's impending demise and how it's getting harder and harder for Randall to accept that. The teacher/student dynamic can be difficult. A good teacher may have to push a student, give accurate assessments of his ability or lack thereof. What if Randall has no talent? That would be uncomfortable for both of them. They don't have the (hopefully) typical parent/child history where the parent can be honest in his criticism without the child fearing that he is a disappointment or the parent worrying that the child will resent his telling the truth.

Is it her heritage? I thought she was African, not descended from Africans brought to America to be slaves. That, of course, does not mean that she isn't subject to all the injustices facing African-Americans. I guess she really meant that experiencing American slavery exposed her to the grossest mistreatment of people of color to a much greater degree. Did anyone notice when Rebecca was reading Randall's report card, that he had separate grades for "arithmetic" and "math" along with reading, spelling, history and science? Kind of silly. Whoever designed the report card could have used "art" or "gym" instead if they needed another class.

Wheat allergy is a thing. Wheat allergy with anaphylaxis, though rare, is also a thing. Gluten allergy, with or without anaphylaxis, is not a thing. There is no such thing as an allergy to gluten. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease caused by an abnormal reaction to gluten in the small intestine. Although eating gluten when one has celiac disease can have many severe side effects, it does not result in an inability to breathe. Using an EpiPen would have no positive effect, and since it would not be counteracting an allergic reaction, could be dangerous. I'm not trying to diminish the severity of gluten intolerance/celiac disease as I am very familiar with it, but it is not as portrayed. I don't know why the writers didn't just utilise a food that does cause severe allergic reactions in some, but I guess nut allergies aren't funny?

Sorry to nitpick, but please explain how a rectangular cafeteria table can fit 3 kids on one side, but only 2 kids on the opposite side, so that if a 6th kid wants to join the original 5, one kid must now sit on the floor (and not only is the 6th kid not huge, but the kid moving to the floor is unusually small?) I know, it's a sitcom and a callback, but still.
