  1. I watched the first 6 episodes of season 1 when they aired (gave up on the show after that and came back mid season 2), and I was certain that they would somehow walk back the backstory of Oliver cheating on LL with Sara. Have it be a misunderstanding and Oliver just let LL believe it to keep her at a distance, until it was time for them to get together and then she would find out it didn't happen and there wouldn't be any more obstacles between them. Instead, the show went in the opposite direction and added Tommy dying, Sara coming back and dating Oliver again, and a secret kid conceived when Oliver was cheating on Laurel. Yikes.
  2. Since we’re on the topic of MG, I’m going to be participating in a group Zoom Q&A with him later on this week, and if anyone has a question they’d like me to ask him, let me know and I’ll try to bring it up.
  3. EBR fans are well aware she wasn’t a regular in season 8 so no one was going to “trip”, but Craig loves to demonize fans he dislikes.
  4. The 50 Best CW Ships LINDSAY MACDONALD JUN 26, 2020 https://www.tvguide.com/galleries/the-best-50-cw-ships-of-all-time-ranked/51/ Oliver and Felicity were ranked #1 on this list:
  5. MG doesn't provide any purchasing links, but I think this is what he's referring to: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1779505094/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And the kindle version: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BJDSW6G?ref=dbs_p2d_P_R_kindle_available_T2
  6. I saw the original short with Gemma Chan and liked it. A little less interested now that she was replaced by Constance Wu.
  7. If Ben Lewis isn't a regular, I don't have much hope that Joseph Jones and the other FTA actors are involved much either. Throw it all into the garbage. It's amazingly tone deaf to me that they had a young, diverse cast and decided to go with the 3 straight white women route. It's not like the CW didn't already have 3 DC shows with a female lead and a majority of white regulars (Supergirl, Stargirl, Legends). 🙄
  8. She also demanded that Just Jared pay her for using her tweets in their story. SA was dumb to pick a fight with someone who has an agenda.
  9. TBH, I'm not really in the mood to listen to 3 rich white men chit chat about anything right now.
  10. No opinion on who did it better, but only one of them is following California's social distancing rules.
  11. It was really great to see Colton healthy and at peace. He's been through so much the last couple of years.
  12. I'm sure her needling him the whole time, talking about how he always loses when they play Quiplash, and telling him to "Take these and plug them into your computer LIKE AN ADULT" in front of an audience really helped his mood. They both behaved badly and made me think they're one of those couples that bicker and snipe at each other during group events, not caring that they're making everyone uncomfortable.
  13. I thought he was being really sulky, but between the technical issues and apparently not knowing how to play, SA didn't get off to a good start. And it didn't help that everyone except EBR was making fun of him instead of helping him. CA was snippy right back at him, so it's not like she was de-escalating the situation. EBR was the best thing about the livestream. Loved all her helmets and how she kept trying to make everyone laugh.
  14. Wayne Brady and some other guy will be part of it, so hopefully that'll cut down on their dumb Jar antics and inside jokes.
  15. I love that MG is giving us so much Olicity content even after the show is over. Even though he's kind of revealing how much SA and EBR improve the script with their own additions.
  16. I agree with Mr Knightly's assessment that Frank Churchill didn't really deserve all the good things that happened to him. His behavior was pretty selfish and dickish throughout. It's hard to see what Jane saw in him to put up with all that. I could only make it through that series once because Mrs Bennett was so OTT shrill and obnoxious she made me want to murder. I prefer the 2005 version overall.
  17. As I understand it (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), in England there are rules attached to a property you get through inheritance. The Bennets lived on an estate that stipulated it could only be passed down to a male relative. The Woodhouse's estate apparently didn't have that restriction attached, so Emma (and her sister) would've inherited if her dad wanted them to. Re: Mrs Elton-- her family was wealthy and the 20,000 pounds was her dowry. She was lucky that her dad agreed to give her that much money to live on, but other women might not have been. And I agree that the BBC Emma was the best, although I thought all versions of Mr. Knightly were pretty dreamy. Have you seen the modernized youtube version (Emma Approved)?
  18. I have no idea, tbh. Just repeating some spec I thought sounded credible.
  19. Someone on twitter pointed out that the pickups announced today were all CBS produced shows and there might be more news on the 2 spinoffs (Arrow and The 100) on Thursday.
  20. I'm pretty sure the test that's available with no prerequisites in LA is the test for whether they're infected right now, not the antibody one. At least that's the case in Northern California.
  21. Things in Northern California hasn't really changed in terms of restrictions. Most non-essential store and restaurants (except for those with takeout options) are still closed, everyone has to wear masks when they're out, and social distancing rules are still in place. We might have a nationwide meat shortage because the big meat processing plants have had high rates of infections among the employees. Golf courses were allowed to re-open, so good for them, I guess. And gas prices are the lowest I've seen in 15 years.
  22. Lord Mesa redid some of his old illustrations in a new style. I like the softness added to this one: Also, Brian Roll, who does a lot of Arrowverse art, did an illustration of the Smoak-Queen-Clayton family.
  23. I now regret all the times I joked about Australia having too many oversized, deadly creatures. (Sorry, @Mellowyellow!) Apparently this is what the killer hornets that have just arrived in the US look like:
