  1. Wyatt doesn't have any social media accounts. All the Walker hate I've seen on social media has specifically been about the character, not the actor. People are even prefacing their posts with "No hate to the actor, but..."
  2. It was an important scene because it set up Sam's explanation to Bucky about why he gave up Cap's shield. "Maybe this is something that you or Steve will never understand. But can you accept that I did what I thought was right?" A huge part of Sam's journey in the series is about "racial politics" and what it means to inherit the mantle of Captain America as a black man.
  3. Clé Bennett, who played The Mayor in 2x04, is Lemar Hoskins/Battlestar in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier"
  4. Entertainment Weekly did a great job directing and editing these two.
  5. Kat has a supporting role in this movie that include Vanessa Redgrave. (She only has one line in the trailer, despite her name being used to promote it)
  6. I'm pretty sure it's not her, unfortunately. If you go back a couple frames, the costume looks different.
  7. C2E2 included a picture from the SA/EBR panel in this anniversary post:
  8. “Calling out” a coworker is not something to brag about. I don’t know what her working experience has been to make her think it’s a normal thing. But thanks, KC, for confirming the pap rumors about how she and SA didn’t get along on set and probably why they had negative chemistry.
  9. Fandom fundraiser for the Tumaini Miles of Smiles Centre (an orphanage and school) in Kenya. Marc Guggenheim donated a season 6 Arrow poster autographed by the cast to be raffled to anyone that donates at least 15 Euro ($18 USD) https://www.gofundme.com/f/sqlcampaign
  10. I mean, if it's just a continuation of Oliver giving Barry a pep talk with his dying breath and reassuring him that he's the best most super special superhero, then I'm glad it was cut.

  13. Paige has gotten to 3x20 in her "gif the series" project:
  14. My brain pretty much skips from 1x12 (when Felicity gives Oliver Moira's copy of the notebook) to 1x14. Which means all these years I missed the significance of Oliver cutting Laurel off from the Hood (ostensibly because he doesn't want to risk her safety) and then in the very next episode trusting Felicity with his secret and asking her to join the team (And telling that Diggle "We can protect her") I really disliked Oliver in season 1, and I think it's partially because he's around so many other characters that (rightfully) yell at him for being an asshole, but never actually do anything to help him to grow as a person. Diggle and Felicity being the only exceptions. And the love triangle was absolutely the worst because not only was there no couple to root for, it made Oliver, Tommy, and Laurel horrible people. I wanted them to all get therapy and stay away from each other.
  15. Lord Mesa still giving us new content: Updating to add Diggle. Collect the whole OTA set!
  16. I don't remember him saying this. (It's likely that there was a very short list-- Laurel and Quentin) I do remember that Emily said at the Paris con (which happened at the end of season 4) that she knew from the beginning the 3 characters definitely not in the grave were Oliver, Barry, and Felicity. And then of course there was KC who said she never even considered it could be Laurel (even though everyone else was worried it could be their character) and thought that no one would be in the grave.
  17. Pretty great that Olicity only one scene together in season 8 and they're still making all these year-end best-of lists.
  18. I'm thankful we never had to sit through what he thought was "30% better".
  19. I’m guessing at least 50% of the reason is budget. They would’ve had to pay KC extra to appear on the other shows. It’s probably the reason why she only showed up in the Arrow episodes of all previous crossovers as well. The other 50% is that every character that was in the crossover had more important reasons to be in them than BS did. Her storyline affected no one except herself. Everyone else had ties to all the other characters. It would’ve been a waste of time and money in an already packed crossover to include someone no one else knew or cared about or made a difference in the big picture.
  20. It's the only way they could make Laurel Lance-Queen happen. Given that Gail Simone is one of the writers, I suspect it's her way of thumbing her nose at the show.
  21. https://www.instagram.com/p/CH_OXG5hLEk/ The WBTV Instagram account recognizing how awesome Felicity and Iris are.
  22. Even Matt M from TV Line wondered about LL/KC's placement in the poster when it came out: "But it’s the staging of the next tier of costars that seemingly ranks Ollie’s gruff island buddy Slade Wilson (new series regular Manu Bennett) higher than his lithesome lady love Laurel (original cast member Katie Cassidy)." Like you said, they were leading completely different lives and were always hiding something from each other. That all we were ever shown of Oliver and Laurel's relationship, whether it was before the island when he treated her like crap (cheated and lied), or post-island, when he sidelined her and lied to her about who he was and what he was doing. Yet the characters were made to say stuff about how they were meant to be together (Helena, Tommy), how Oliver was better around Laurel (Moira), how Laurel knew Oliver "in her bones" (Oliver, Laurel). The Oliver/Laurel relationship was the worst case of "tell, not show" I've ever seen on TV. I think that SA, who had shown how much thought he put into the character and the show in the early seasons, saw that disconnect and played it out in a way that made sense to him, which was Oliver resolving his guilt for how he mistreated her and then moving on.
  23. Even before the end of season 1, reporters were asking about Oliver and Felicity's relationship, and SA was talking about how pretty and smart and capable Felicity was. This interview was at Wondercon 2013, right before the final 3 episodes of the season and in the middle of the Oliver/Laurel/Tommy triangle ramping up. SA, who almost always pushed the party line and promoted what's being shown on screen at the moment, was teasing about Olicity. Laurel was never an obstacle or challenge to Olicity as far as anyone working on the show was concerned (except maybe KC)
