  1. At least it wasn't film of a horn-blowing train going through a tunnel like they showed as Sean and Catherine's honeymoon room lights went out. All I could think was, she figured she was the worst lay of the three. Kinda a Nick V. reaction.
  2. I'm glad Rachel can see into the future to know that Matt will never walk away from his wife or family. I'd get that in writing girl. Oh, god, gaping carp mouth kisses. Ugh.
  3. So the only time we hear the pottery instructor is when she says, "And your fingers are going to go inside the hole." Way to stay classy, show.
  4. So they pitched a tent in the woods ... WHY? WTH was that all about. The writers are really REALLY hurting for material this season. Did Bri have that fancy gown in her backpack and got changed in the tent? Why is Matt making the women read the FS card? Can Matt even read? That's because she is reading from a script.
  5. Same here. This show has lost me. I care nothing about Matt or his dad or his "journey" or any of the women or these inane dates. This show used to be fun, but I don't even enjoy the snark any more. Maybe because the show and Matt and the scripts are so bad, it's not even snark worthy.
  6. LOL at the camera work, slooooooowly panning up Matt's chicken legs accented by skin-tight pants, from sneaker feet to crotch ... and then speeding up to face. Pennsylvania spa day = grossest date yet, and that's saying a lot.
  7. This show is making me hate it more each week.
  8. Thanks for that. I now have a reason for watching this episode, looking for the vases. Because neither Matt nor any of the women interest me. Not sure I can drag it out until the final episode.
  9. It's kinda creepy that CH announces to all the b-ettes that he has the card for the first person to go to the FS. So now it's out in the open that X b-ette* is getting screwed tonight. Sorry to be blunt, but that was pretty much what CH said/meant. *Wasn't paying much attention nor do I care which one goes first, hence, no name.
  10. Just waiting for @bybrandy to report, then the WEEEEner can be announced!
  11. A big YES to that. And we thank you and welcome your good company. It's a win win at the T41!
  12. That was my thought too, so I can see him being confused. But lots of press came out about The Revenant being based on a true story. Even though the movie was five years ago, I saw another story about it recently. It was a tough one for an actor to go out on.
  13. Too bad I wasn't a lifeline for that movie question. I knew the fiction Leo character was from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Love that movie. The nurse who came on next ... man, that was SO PAINFUL. It's like the dumbest person in the room was chosen to fill the remaining time.
  14. This rerun was pretty timely since Sheen has been on the pop news lately to publicize his regrets. Doesn't make this ep any less funny though, and it brought back lots of memories of everyone saying WINNING. I remember media being blown up by pictures of Miley smoking salvia. I'd never heard of salvia, but it had to be stressed it wasn't weed, it was salvia, SALVIA, so it was no big deal, kinda like smoking corn silk behind the barn. Except salvia contains opioid-like compounds that cause hallucinations. Still got a laugh out of the Miley Show skit while Miley was the host. Good times.
  15. Extra wine? At THAT table? Better bring your own, just sayin'.
  16. Thanks for the LOL moment! I've been to software companies that have better security than the Post Office. Actually, I've been to grocery stores that have better security than the Post Office. ETA: I've searched and no one anywhere is talking about the missing Megan Boone, even Megan Boone. Crossing fingers that "missing" is the adjective that continues to describe her. Bring on the Red and Dembe show.
  17. I PM'd you Zoey so the mystery can continue here. If there is one!
  18. I was happy to get Monday's FJ, then did not care that I got no more for the week. T41 is where I am comfortable, and it's a space I share with good friends. @Mindthinkr, you are welcome here as always. And you don't even have to bring your usual feast, just you! (Well, unless you want to. Heh.)
  19. WEEK 25 • March 1, 2021 — ONE asterisk ** 121. Geographic Regions. In “Histoire des Navigations aux Terres Australes” Charles de Brosses coined this term for the many islands of the region. 122. World Leaders Address Congress. The 2 to address 3 joint sessions are Churchill & this leader, his non-European country’s longest-serving PM, in 1996, 2011 & 2015. *123. European Landmarks. Of the principal architects working on it from the mid-1500s to the 1980s, like Pierre Lescot & Hector Lefuel, none were foreigners. * 124. U.S. Military Equipment. The U.S. Army’s tradition of naming these began with the Sioux, used in the Korean War. 125. American Rock Bands. In 2020 their Greatest Hits, with an optimistic ’80s anthem, became only the third album to spend 600 weeks on the Billboard 200.
  20. A Washington Post journalist I follow on Twitter will comment sometimes on movies and theater. This week he posted his first tweet ever about Jeopardy, a contestant saying in her interview she's fallen off a bus twice. That made me laugh. And I guess it's better than an SAT score. I don't even know what mine was so you'll never hear it from me if I get on The Chase! (I've also never fallen off a bus, so there's that too.)
  21. My teevee schedule said the second episode was the season finale. Grey's Anatomy and Million Little Things is scheduled for next Thursday, which means Thursday nights are open now for me.
  22. Interestingly, the Black Hawk franchise has not been pressured to change its team name, unlike some other teams, and the ones being roasted for their mascots. Cleveland and the U of Illinois come to mind.
  23. I think it was pretty safe that no one was going to take that $ home, so it made for some nice drama while it lasted. I did like the bold move the one player made, taking the higher offer though.
  24. I had a few LOL moments on these episodes, when Ken trolled James about beating him twice and James bursting out into laughter when he heard that. Then Elliot when he whipped out his fan to cool himself after beating Brad down the board. Elliott was a needed breath of fresh air on this show, smart, funny as heck, and cute on top of it. Plus yes, nice suit Elliot. I still think it's unfair for three contestants to get a three-square head start on the single Chaser. I mean, what's up with that since it's already three brains against one. I think this is the first time Chaser Brad has let players take home money, and the first time Chaser Ken has stopped players. (Not that I'm keeping track or anything.) I liked evesdropping on the two Chasers in the lounge.
