I agree their should be perks for going, but at the same time the purpose of comic con is to promote your shows/movies and get people excited. Should the people who got glimpses of movie trailers be the only ones to see them? Every other CW show released new footage. Supernatural was the only that didn't. You want get people buzzing and talking about the upcoming season and clips and spoilers help with this. The people that were there still got the exclusive first look at Michael and the gag reel. But releasing the clip can only help the show because its time to promote the new season. So, IMO, I think they should release the clip, but leave the gag reel for the DVD, that way the people who were there still got something extra. Talk about the new season has really dropped off lately from the lack of spoilers (at least in my corner of the internet).

I always like when Jensen validates my feelings about things. I think he's really the only one that gives a damn anymore. Reason 43430985 why I think the writers are lazy. They have a beginning and an end point to so many storylines they skip the middle which is the most important part. Jack didn't need to be accepted by episode 1. They should have spent time exploring both sides of Jack. Then when Lucifer caught up with him it woudn't have felt like a time waster becasue there was zero tension or suspense in those scenes. It was obvious Jack wasn't going to side with Lucifer so the show didn't need to waste the final 3 episodes on it. Michael was rushed with no build up. If the Wayward eps didn't fit then rework the concept of the wayward eps. The main show should have taken priority instead of writing Sam and Dean out of character for girl power. But that interview with Dabb and Singer was really telling. Singer saying that it would be episode 18 and he would think we need to get to it but there was still 5 episodes left so how to they fill them. Someone should tell them that there is no rule that everything has to be crammed into the final 3 episodes, thats its okay to start dealing with them in episode 18. Especially when you have 26 plot points to wrap up. Dabb really is the worst thing to happen to this show. If he doesn't care he should move on.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers

This to me is why the writers are lazy. There are so many ways to get around the separation issue without dropping the story or just resorting to flashbacks. The writers took the easiest/least imaginative route possible. -

Not techically a spoiler but posting here due to spoiler speculation. Jared's beard doesn't look as thick as it did at comic con. Its like he didn't film for a couple of days and this is the stubble. So disappointing but not surprising that Michael didn't even last 3 episodes. Flashbacks don't count because there is no tension in them. We know Michael's agenda and like the Amara flashbacks it will probably be the same thing over and over. -

I think they did this with the kiddie table line. IMO, that was done for a reason. But that is off topic for this thread so I'll leave it there. -

I don't have the link anymore. It might not have been Dabb. It honestly could have been Singer, or Buck/Lemming but it was in one of them. -

Sam will follow anyone down the garden path who dangles anything shiny in front of his face. His leading the mission into the AU ended with him getting killed and Lucifer and Michael teaming up. I can't buy Sam as a leader. He wants to be in charge, but IMO, that isn't the same thing as leading. I agree, Dabb is the worst. -

This is what I was hoping for, a broken Dean more along the lines of s2 where he reckless and trying to save as many people as he can to make up for the ones Michael killed. That could still cause Dean to be drinking a lot and having a messy room, to show he's not really coping that well. It would be more original (and I use that term loosely) than just another season of mopey depression/guilt which was Dean's storyline for the last 3 seasons, -

Then Dabb really doesn't know Dean at all. He's not a slob. He's actually the one that takes care of most of the household responsibilites such as cooking and cleaning. It would really irritate me if they try to say this was the state Dean left his room in. He was so proud of actually having a clean room for a change. -

More proof, Dean is back by the end of the 3 episode at the very latest. 3 does seem to be the magic number with Dean. So I predict 3 live eps, and 3 eps of flashbacks. Then it will be over and done. -
Im not sure, but would they need Jensen's chair if he wasn't filming?
-
This was filmed during the 2nd episode apparently, and you can see that Jensen's chair next to Jared's. So it does seem like Michael is either gone or captured by the 2nd episode. At least they arent' pretending 'year of Michael" this time.

The movie isn't new. Clif and his brother Mitch put it together. It's a couple of years old. I remember they did a Q&A about it at VanCon 2015. We got a sneak peak at the trailer. I think they did a crowd funding, but paid for most of it out of pocket. Mostly likely they're advertising to try and sell more DVD's. It sounds like they took quite a hit financially. It didn't seem to sell that well (although that's speculation, not fact). I think there are 10 episodes, plus a 90 minute movie. They admitted it almost never saw the light of day. Jason Fischer (one of the production assistants) really helped them out. It does sound like they over reached with the project and were in over their heads from everything I heard. I think there are a few cast interviews, but its mostly fans relating their experiences, from what I heard.

Supernatural Bitterness & Unpopular Opinions: You All Suck

What bothered me with Charlie more than anything was this was the character that was used for an overall tonal shift in what it meant to be a hunter. Charlie read the Supernatural books she know what these guys have went through, want they've lost because of hunting and she has the nerve to whine about how hunting isn't magical enough and there was no quest. Seriously? . It's a old, hard lonely life and there was a good chance of getting your getting guts ripped out before you were 30. That's the world that Kripke created. Dean was always consistent about warning people away from it. Then Claire comes along and Deans' suddenly, want to be a hunter sure. Here's some tips. Dean tries to warn Patience away. Jody's like don't listen to him. Teenagers always make the best possible decisions so leave your dad and all those bossy males and come join our show about 'ghurl power! Throw away your future to become a hunter. It's much more fun." So now anyone with an app and and attitude can be successful at it. When Jo was an amature she would have been dead on her first hunt if not for Sam and Dean. They show the ghostfacers are lucky and mostly a joke, and that Richie guy from Sin City ended up getting killed. I miss that dark gritty world where hunting was in the shadows. -

Especially, since the AU people want Michael dead and they don't care what happens to the vessel. Sam working with Ketch, Cas, and Mary and against the AU hunters and Bobby makes the most sense. But it sounds like other than a token throwaway line about Bobby not knowing Sam and Dean, it sounds like they're going to pretend Bobby is our Bobby. It's baffling why the other AU people would even listen to Sam. Them following Bobby or even Mary makes more sense. It's not like they need him to tell them what to do. I'm going to roll my eyes into the back of my head if Sam is teaching them what a traffic light is or how to load Netflix and suddenly they;re all like "Oh Captain my Captain." -

I just don't see the writers sperating them for more than an episode or two at most.
