  1. I average about two. Nothing better than a good book. On topic Thinking about episode 18, Ketch is listed as a guest star on the spoiler sheet and this episode is giving me Out With Old vibes. That ep description talked about Dean getting cursed by ballet shoes. That was dealt with in the first part of the episode and the tone dramatically shifted to being all about the leviathans. It started as a MOTW and turned into a mytharc one. Given how few promo stills we got and how little the shaving people/punting things showed, (when they are normally very spoilery) I wonder if they are trying to keep a bigger story under wraps, after all the Tag Line is secrets and lies. It maybe Ketch who spills the beans about where the colt came from.
  2. I feel like this is one of the few times on the show I have no idea what's going on with Dean. Even if we don't get a POV episode, I could usually tell from Jensen's acting, either through a look or tone, or the amount and type of alcohol he's drinking. (That's not meant as a dig against Jensen, I'm just honestly getting mixed signals). What seems to be missing is consistency. He looked tired and worn out throughout this last episode, especially in the end seen when turning his head like his neck's stiff and soar. My first thought was that he hadn't slept all night. He's never been opposed to booze for breakfast but he's drinking coffee so he could be tired the events of the episode. At the end of ep 15, he looked like he was done and just went along because he knew nothing he said or did was going to change Sam's mind, and then we see him work one case where he clearly did not want to be in the Lair o' Letters. This week he looked exhausted several times, but next week (not really a spoiler but will tag just in case) We haven't seen Dean ask where the colt came from? Normally that would be his first question. Hopefully it will be addressed this week, Are the writers going somewhere with this? There is several times I got s7 flashbacks where even Jensen commented that he felt the writers had Dean headed from some kind of break down. It could also just be Jensen acting against the script, and trying to show us that even if the writing has Dean agreeing to join he feels Dean wouldn't? Or maybe Jensen himself is just tired from a long season of travel, cons, and having 3 kids under 4, with two newborns.
  3. I don't think they will. Kim said we would know because someone else would be playing her. Plus, she tweeted that they really let Berens out to play, which is why I think this episode will be heavily focused on Jody.
  4. According to the spoiler sheet Ketch is listed for this episode. Also 20, 21 and 22. From the sounds of it, episode 22 sounds Jody is going to be back.
  5. I think I'd feel more reassured if Jensen actually said something about the finale. But he didn't say a word. He sat there mute. Normally, when he's excited he has trouble containing it, and tends to spoil it the way he did in s9 with the eye opener comment or at Asylum (or it might have been JIB) and read that letter from Peter Roth and almost gave away the Mary spoiler. But he's been pretty mute on this season as a whole. He's yet to live tweet (not ever Regarding Dean).
  6. Thinking about what the s13 thing could be. The season 11 finale picked up where the 10th left off and I they didn't seem to film the start of 11. I was on the location tour at VanCon and Russ (the location manager) said they couldn't film in the same place due to fire regulation. So its possible they dont' want that to happen again. But I think the hint is in episode 16 somewhere. Dabb said in his producer preview that it subtly hints at something they pick up in season 13. The majority opinion I read, was that it seemed to be hinting toward a Claire/Wayward Daughters spin off. It's interesting that Kathryn Newton was supposed to be a SeaCon this weekend but cancelled at the last minute. JP and JA said they filmed it a couple days ago, which could be Friday. Timing seems to hint that it involves Claire in some way. Maybe the cure didn't work. I do think there is a lot of grey area in what Jensen said. He's talked before about the hardest day being the last and the hardest thing about playing Dean was eventually going to be letting him go. I lean more toward series finale because of the way he worded the question, but who knows maybe he was referring to both.
  7. Jared brings up the season finale about 4:30 The talk about favorite/hardest to film finale comes out around 11:15 "I'll answer for both of us. We haven't filmed it yet." No specific reference to series/season. Jared going on to talk about the series finale gives me the impression that was what Jensen was referring to, but it really can be interpreted either way, IMO.
  8. The thing with Mary is that I get the feeling that the show is telling us she and Ketch have been hunting partners since Mary signed up. We've seen them working and training together. On one hunt with Dean, he immediately figured out this guy was probably bad news because he saw how Ketch treated the vampire. Mary saw him lead a man away presumably to be tortured and if Ketch truly is a psychopath, I don't see him changing his hunting style just because he's around Mary. So she has to have some idea of the type of person he is just from being around him.
  9. I really hope they don't permanently kill off Cas and/or Crowley.
  10. Okay thanks. I was only following on twitter and it can be like a game of telephone.
  11. I'm waiting for video on this, because Ive seen conflicting tweets. One where Jensen said the hardest finale to film was the one they were about to, and another where he said they hadn't filmed it yet and it would be the last. Not sure if he meant this season or if he was talking about the series finale.
  12. I haven't seen any tweets on how Jensen feels about it.
  13. The characters name should be William Earnest Goat. (Bill E. Goat) Dean would have so much fun with that one
  14. My wishlist for the lead up to the finale is for Dean to matter and be involved in the action. To get to use the colt and kill at least one of the remaining yellow eyed demons. Id like him to be a badass again For a confrontation between Dean and Ketch, since he had Dean's file. For Lucifer to die. I wish Mary would take Satan's spawn, go to Australia and live with the other antichrist and never be seen or hear from again. I have mixed feelings about Ketch. It's true he's a psychopath but I really like the actor.
  15. As for the British Men of Letters I honestly have no idea if Dabb thinks they are good guys or bad guys or still see shades of grey. Often times I think there is a disconnect between what one of the writers say and then what comes across on screen. Dabb reads the scripts but directors, and actors can add their own touches and adding a look or changing a tone can completely change the direction of something. Dean's confrontation with God is a good example. When Buck/Lemming wrote the script they wrote it as angry. So in an interview that airs they might have said Dean gets mad at God, but when watching the scene it might cause a person to go "what are they talking about?" When I say that I don't see how Dabb can think people still believe their the good guys, I'm not being sarcastic because to me it isn't clear cut for the reason mentioned above. I don't know what script directions there might have been, who might have added changed, etc. Also they write and film months in advance. They usually have episode 8 or 9 filmed before the first episode even airs. Dabb wrote episode nine where they killed all the solider for just doing their job. So he did know about that little detail but yet he still gave an interview where he said that Sam and Dean would come to work with them and come to respect them. (its possible he meant Mick but he didn't specificy in the interview just said them, which I tool to mean as a whole). Right from the start they were shady, when they kidnapped and tortured Sam, yet Dabb continued to say positive things about them in interviews. So for me anyways its not obvious what his views are on the organization.
  16. I hope not because there is no tension in a scene like that. There is no contest who Dean would pick
  17. It's interesting that Dean no longer seems to be making an effort where Mary is concerned. Earlier we saw him texting, checking his phone, playing games, etc. Now its almost indifference.
  18. I've always wondered from the minute they brought Mary back if the show was going to end up with a scenario where she has to chose between them. Maybe 22 is about Ketch coming into the bunker and taking Sam and Dean hostage and tells Mary she can save one.
  19. If it helps Cas isn't the only idiot, as it very much looks like Sam and Dean didn't change the locks. It seems like they're not even pretending to try with Dean this ep. It reads like..."Oops fogot someone how can we fit him in" He gets angry that the colt is missing. Okay, that will last about 2 minutes at the most before he apologizes to someone. So what else will be be doing while Cas and Sam argue over Kelly. Probably drive aimlessly looking for it. I really hope the case next week is one Sam and Dean find on their own and they're done with the Brits, otherwise I'm going think they've lost as many brain cells as Crowley. Dabb is making all four main characters look like they've lost whatever smarts they had. As for whole stole the colt- my money is either on Ketch or Mary.
  20. When I say Dean's instincts were right I'm talking about the BMoL's as a whole, not one person. Mick was a decent guy but Sam didn't sign up to work for Mick, he signed up with for organization as a whole because he was impressed with their methods and toys and lore. He even said he felt they were changing the world and he wanted to be a part of it, and he would make sure Dean came around. Then he didn't come clean and try to convince Dean. He lied for weeks and took away Dean's choice at first. (At first being the key words). Sam's behavior in the end of episode 15 didn't suggest he ever questioned these guys or doubted their mission statement and even Dean called Sam out on wanting to answer that phone call he got when he finally came clean. To address the 'Dean worked with them too' objection Not denying that. I've made mention that I didn't like it and felt he caved to easily. But he worked one case for them and was uncomfortable about it the whole time. By this point Sam seem enamored with organization, not just Mick. Mick was their handler. He had a change of heart because Sam and Dean equally put human faces to monsters and made Mick realize there were shades of gray. So Dean's instincts about the organization were spot on. IMO, they're is no gray area with them. They order the death of innocent humans in their way, and make kids kill other kids to prove loyalty. Not sure how Dean is taken with Ketch. They shared a glass of scotch and went to hunt a vampire nest. When Ketch beat the vampire Dean stepped into stop them. He didn't tell Ketch he wanted to work with him at the end of the episode or keep in touch with him or have contact with him.
  21. Hopefully Dean and Sam are smart enough to change the locks.
  22. I wonder if this is what brings Lady Toni back into the fold. Her son is approaching school age, and since its seems only 50% of the kids managed to get thought grade school, she may not want him attending Hunter Hogwarts. She could show up looking for protection.
  23. One bright spot, at least it looks like Dean's instincts were correct once again about the BMoLs being bad news.
  24. That played out exactly like I thought it would. Why is Dean not even questioning where the Colt came from.
