  1. I'm not sure if this is a spoiler or not but it looks a lot like the place where they filmed the scene in Crossroad Blues where Dean was about to sell his soul for John.
  2. Im not a gamer so I have no idea if its true but apparently there are no Wesker sisters in the game. So if true, he's trying to do the same thing he did to SPN and remake the show in his own image.
  3. This was my first thought. Those type of speeches are usually precede, "Now its our turn to sacrifice for you." Jensen said that Dean has a line 'Stop killing my people." So I think he spoiled how this scene ends. I get a very Swan Song like feel from that trailer.
  4. I don't think we can say for sure that Pellegrino or Chuck is not in 19 or 20 given that they filmed scenes for 20 at least 2 days already. (Per Jason Fischer's board). It's Buck/Lemming that have the obsession with Mark P. Eugenie Ross Lemming was even quoted saying that Lucifer was her favorite character so I would be money on him being in 19. I still think it will be a family counselling session, with God handing over control of the universe to Jack. Episode 19 is called Inherit the Earth and Dabb is very literal.
  5. I do remember that. I think Jensen said it was just going to be him and Jared and they gave them an extra day knowing how difficult that scene would be. I hope they are still able to do that.
  6. Just recently. I'll see if I can find the post. Here it is. They filmed scene 43. That would have been on of the last scenes.
  7. Jensen posted the same pick with the a similar message, that it was the last time they were all together. Unfortunately, this is the last pic I have of all of us on set together. Our faces say it all. The uncertainty, the emotion, the fear of not knowing how it will all go or more importantly, how @jaredpadalecki will handle a birthday without us. You’ll be just fine, buck-o. We’ll be back in that beautiful car to celebrate soon enough. (Hopefully). Happy Birthday, brother. See ya soon. #spnfamily" Jake Able posted the birthday message and said it was Jensen's idea to sing it as a Dirge. Which is a sad lament. On twitter, Jason Fischer posts a quote of the day and on the board you can see the scenes being filmed that day. One one of the boards they filmed a couple of scenes from ep 20. I wonder if Misha might have been in Van and filmed his last day then.
  8. What I mean is a more main stream audience. A lot of people pre judge CW shows and the network doesn't get a lot of critical acclaim. When I mention Jensen, most people I know have never heard of him or the CW. I do think he has a lot of connections in Hollywood. As for the buzz, I love Jensen getting so much press. Yes, it is more about Jensen but I think its a good marketing strategy. s2 comes out in a couple of weeks. Mention Jensen in s3, then start the s2 promo stuff/push, hoping to bring in some of Jensen's fans. From what Ive seen it seems to be working. The Boys was something I wanted to watch, I just didn't want to pay for Prime. I'm not Kripke's biggest fan because of how he handled the end of s5. So I put it off watching it. But I intend to start soon. Several people I know are in the same boat. I recently started following The Boy's twitter account, and its refreshing that they actually post stuff about The Boys and not every other Amazon Show.
  9. Jared's schedule will be similar to SPN's since its on the CW so there is a good chance he will know his schedule. Jensen's show is 8 eps and they are apparently shooting 2 episodes at once, so Jensen probably knows his schedule at least for the first few months. He will be the wild card after that.
  10. It's Amazon's most popular show. Over 8 million viewers watched s1. So that is 8 million people watching Jensen. It will help Jensen becasue it will get him exposure to a larger audience. He will work with some high profile people, like Giancarlo Esposito, Jim Beaver, they are trying to get Jefferey Dean Morgan, and Karl Urban. He'll meet new writers and directors and behind the scenes people at the studio, make more connections and get the opportunity to net work. This is a good thing for him and a benefit even before the show airs. Promo is far better than the CW. Interviews are starting to come out for s2. Number 1 on the call sheet isn't always the be all and the end all. He was barely on the call sheet when he played Ben in Dark Angel. He took that small role (which would have been a step down from a major character on Days). He made people notice him. Alec wasn't number 1, and yet he took over Dark Angel to the point 1 and 2 got jealous. On Big Bang Theory Johnny Galecki (Leonard) was number 1. Jim Parsons (Sheldon) number 2. I don't think many would argue that show revolved around Sheldon. I think this is a good first move to reintroduce himself to mainstream Hollywood. Yeah, Jensen is taking a risk. I'd rather he take that risk and have a small part in a big show, rather than stay on the CW where he will most likely be relgated to playing a dad. The only reason Jared isnt playing Walkers dad is because he pitched and produces the show. Both he and Jensen are too old for the network. There was a reason Jack was bought it for the younger viewers. It wouldn't surprise me if there is more emphasis on Walkers kids. But he has enough talent and charisma to make himself noticed, no matter how small the role. Most shows are ensemble these days.
  11. Thinking about the WeeChester ep. The title is Drag Me Away (From You) I wonder if its Sam's Bab Boys type ep and him ending up in foster care. Im not 100% sure if its this one or ep 15, but with the title Gimme Shelter, the theory still works.
  12. Since we don't have a Jensen thread, I thought I'd put this here. I was hoping he'd make a fan art and I'm not disappointed.
  13. I know its not a lot, but it is a significant jump in the space of day, especially following the announcement.
  14. While it would have been cool to see Jensen as the lead in a big A-List project (and he has the talent to do it), I think this is a good first step. As much as we love SPN and Jensen and praise his talents, he's not a big name, and on a show not many of heard of. On the CW he's a big fish in a small pond. In mainstream Hollywood, he's a little fish in in a big pond. So by taking a role, where the success/failure of his show isn't on his shoulders, it gives him a chance to stretch those acting muscles, get his name out there, allow his talent to speak for itself, and hopefully continue on to big things. The Boys is the most popular show on amazon. Its not like its another small unheard of Show. At the Golden Globes, after parties, Jensen attended the WB, Amazon and Disney. So I'm hoping the Disney thing was for a reason too.
  15. Some nice welcomes from Jensen's new castmates. Definitely filming in Toronto.
  16. Okay so it looks according to the source material there are two solider boys. Soilder boy 2 who is naive and dumb, but sounds like he has a lot of trauma to deal with. And Soilder Boy 1, whose ... I'm not sure if this would be a spoiler so I'll tag just in case. Jensen is apparently playing the original solider boy but I cant find much into on him.
  17. The character description doesn't bother me, because, Jensen must have read the script and something appealed to him. Plus, Jensen embraces his characters wholeheartedly. Plus, he has a habit of making his characters so much more than they the writing intended. I can't wait to see him take on this challenge.
  18. Is this about his second hip surgery?
  19. I lost interest in the finale the minute Jensen had to be convinced it was good. He's got great instincts, if something didn't sit well with him, there is a reason. He shouldn't have had to have multiple people explain why its a good ending. Dabb should have asked Jared and Jensen. How do you want your characters stories to end, and worked toward that.
  20. https://thriveglobal.com/stories/mark-pellegrino-speaks-out-against-bullying-2020/ Its offical we are stuck with Mark P for the finale. Ugh. Way to make the Michael storyline completely pointless.
  21. Not a lot it was mostly the same questions (and answers ) from cons. Acting advice, multiple memorable moments, favorite line, what prop, what super power would you like. At least there were no prank questions
