  1. I enjoyed today too, but then I'm liking the Hope/Aiden mystery. Kristian Alfonso must have enjoyed work when these scenes were being taped. For those who think Meredith is alive, didn't Aiden tell Hope he saw her kill herself. Or am I mis-remembering. I'm really truly starting to dislike every minute Daniel is on my screen. Was he ever *nice* to Jennifer, or is he just always hateful to the women who love him. And lastly, what is with the wardrobe people? Everyone looks liked they are dressed for summer with the sleeveless tops. And I don't even know what to say about that rag Melanie is wearing as a dress!
  2. Did this really happen? If so, who was the patient and who was the relative?
  3. I didn't like NIcole's obsession with the hair combing either. It was very petty and "mean girl" like. She seems to be getting more and more like Whoopi every day and for that reason I feel for Rosie P who is going to be left with the 2 of them. As for me, I doubt I'll be watching The View much anymore. I will likely still check out this thread to see what is going on from time to time, though if everyone who says they are going to stop watching, actually does, there probably won't be many posts.
  4. Thanks bantering. Then they should let this Will be cute too.
  5. I keep wondering this too, so I did a Google search and found this. Doesn't say why, just that it's the way they're doing business. http://daytimeconfidential.com/2014/10/09/days-lives-ken-corday-reveals/ My Google search also found some old articles on Guy Wilson (Will). The pictures of him online are SO MUCH more attractive than the way he looks on the show. Did the previous Will look so "geeky"?
  6. As usual CTV cut off the very end. I saw Rosie thank Barbara Walters and the crew. And say she had a glue gun and would be back for craft segments. Was there anything more? Maybe she didn't want a big farewell in order to leave the door open for another return when all the stress in her life is gone.
  7. Was it the Jon Stewart should take over for Brian Williams "discussion" that prompted Rosie to do the time out sign? Or was it something else?
  8. It's not a perfect acronym, but it's something to get women thinking about heart attacks as a possible health risk. I know when my friend's mother had a heart attack, she was sweating like crazy and vomiting. This was after Rosie started talking about her heart attack, so I recalled her mentioning hot and puke as symptons.
  9. Hot, exhausted, pale, puke and I guess one more "P" I can't remember. Edit: had to Google - the first "P" is pain. So hot, exhausted, pain, pale, puke
  10. We're not the only people thinking it's weird nothing was said about her pending departure from the show: http://ca.eonline.com/news/623664/awkward-rosie-o-donnell-already-back-on-the-view-and-no-mention-of-her-departure-is-made-watch
  11. I wonder what benefit they see to not making an on air announcement today. Since the "official" reason is Rosie's health, today would have been the logical time to mention it since she discussed her heart health documentary. Maybe they think all the viewers heard the news, but I'm sure there are some who haven't. Maybe they don't want a boast in ratings for Rosie's last few days. Thanks for posting the link to the Variety article. I too think it is a combination of everything that had Rosie choose to leave early.
  12. There's a bit more info in this People article, including comments from a "show insider". http://www.people.com/article/why-rosie-odonnell-left-the-view-whoopi-goldberg
  13. Could also be that Michelle met Rosie when she was less famous and wasn't prepared for the media onslaught once Rosie rejoined The View. I seem to remember a gossip column last fall saying that the tension at work was causing tension at home. Though if they split in November, that was only 2 months after The View started, which sort of implies there were already cracks in the marriage.
  14. I can't get on Rosie's site now either, but I checked it out a little while ago and she had posted a new blog - think it was Joni Mitchell lyrics. Also there were 2 or 3 new Q&A's from today. I think one asked if she was leaving because of the Brian Williams controversy. Can't remember what the others were.
  15. Weird, maybe, but I too see chemistry between them. But I see absolutely none between Lucas and Adrienne. Or Abigail and Ben, for that matter.
  16. Guess next Friday will be my last time watching The View. Glad Rosie is able to have a week to say good-bye and that she isn't just disappearing. Wonder if Barbara will be there on Friday to wish her well.
  17. Oops... For some reason, I thought she was a nurse.
  18. I've really enjoyed the last 2 episodes. Even though it was obvious Sonny would survive, all the actor's did a good job portraying their shock and concern. Will be interesting to see Justin, as I haven't seen him in years! And if they are going to break up him and Adrienne, glad he will be there in person to acknowledge it is over, unlike Bo and Hope. Is Daniel supposed to be a "good guy", cause I am disliking him more and more each episode. Nicole didn't even *do* anything to him. At least Eric has a reason to be so unforgiving towards her. Speaking of Daniel, is he the only doctor in Salem? Wonder who the show wants us to be rooting for in the Sonny - Will - Paul triangle, cause today I had more feeling towards Paul than Will. Clyde has to be dead, right, as he was shot at least a day ago. And even if he is alive, he would not be in any shape to order the hit on Sonny.
  19. The show will address Carol Ann Susi's death on the Feb. 19th episode.
  20. I'm not even sure I'd know who Steven Hawking was if not for TBBT. And I definitely would never have heard of Schrödinger's Cat. :)
  21. I really, really, really enjoyed this episode. I kept waiting for something to happen to spoil my enjoyment, but nothing happened. Sheldon didn't try to hog the spotlight or make fun of Leonard's idea. And I was right in guessing the troll was Stephen Hawking. I also enjoyed the girl's storyline. In fact, I can't think of anything I didn't like about this episode. Hope we get more of the same.
  22. Could someone elaborate?
  23. Per Rosie's twitter, it's a snow day: Rosie @Rosie · 2h 2 hours ago Snow day - for all kids .... And me I actually liked Stacy London on What Not to Wear, but she tries just a little too much on The View. And the other guest host laughs too much! So without Rosie O, I quickly lost interest and turned it off after the trip giveaway announcement. Wasn't Rosie P supposed to be back today. Or was it February 3rd?
  24. Me either. I will admit the Emily / Cinnamon game was cute, but Sheldon "trying to work" just seemed a rehash of previous episodes when he struggled with work ideas or problems. Was Bernadette even there? This season, for the most part, has been forgettable for me. I miss Stewart and the comic book store. I miss the guys eating at the Cheesecake Factory. And even though I hated and don't miss the fat jokes, I miss Howard's mother and keep wondering how they will address the death on the show.
  25. Maybe I'm just in a generous mood, but I thought Whoopi actually moderated well today. She reminded me of Julie Chen, in that she introduced the topic then threw it to the others to comment. I can't recall ever seeing her do that before, and I hope she keeps it up. In fact, I enjoyed the whole show today. And though the "master-baking" segment was double entendre heavy, I'd rather that than the in-house commercials, even if Mario was plugging his banana bread.
