  1. I agree with all of the concern for the animals. At this point Production needs to get them out of there so they can be properly taken care of and never return them to these asshats again or they need to give them a list of the tasks that need to be done every day related to the animals, assign those tasks, and tell them that if they fail to complete even one of the tasks they forfeit some portion of their stipend and/or they'll remove them and replace them with a new Utopian. It seems money and/or the possibility of becoming some kind of reality star are the only things that will motivate these idiots so they need to take away the things that matter the most to them in order to get them off of their lazy asses. I think at this point though the safest and best thing for the animals is to remove them altogether.
  2. This show is just completely craptastic. I agree that there is no way this is going to make it a whole year. I cannot believe the personalities they chose for this - the only hope is that the Utopians they bring in as 'replacements' are half way normal and can maybe understand the concept and what they're supposed to be doing - but we all know how very unlikely that is. I wonder how many of the Utopians wanted to audition for Big Brother and/or Survivor? Maybe some of them would have been rejected by those shows for being too mentally unstable, and that's saying something as BB and Survivor cast more than their fair share unstable people along with too many weirdos, misogynists, racists and complete idiots to even count.
  3. But he's completely okay with being sent home by a 31 year old screeching, preening, famewhore who behaves like a Tween girl. I hope his brothers give him some shit over this - especially as they know how much Frankie is full of shit and that America hates him.
  4. Looks like Frankie is showing more of that great self awareness of his and why he must be so loved by his adoring fans and anyone else that happens to glimpse his glittery, delusional, famewhoring, asshat self on BB.
  5. Yeah, I think Victoria is pretty into Derrick and she might have a hard time accepting that she was just his goat once she gets out of the house - not to mention the fact that he'll be going back to his wife and kids and she won't be sleeping anywhere near him ever again.
  6. Dammit - The CBS site must be overloaded or something. I've been trying to go cast all my "No" votes on that craptacular TA 'play' task but I can't get on. The page just won't load and I don't get a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error either. I checked my connection repeatedly and it's working fine for everything else. Anyone else have the same problem? ETA: It just loaded something but it's completely unformatted and there are no graphics or buttons. It's all just text down the left hand side of the page with the various headings and then at the very bottom it says that I've used all my votes for the day. What the hell? I haven't even voted once - on anything for BB ever. I really want to do my part to piss of Frankie! Maybe they're screwing with those of us in Southern CA. I'll try it again maybe at less of a 'peak' time.
  7. Honestly at this point I’m just looking for something to happen so I’m not bored out of my mind with what seems to be a certain win by Derrick. I had hopes that Nicole and/or Donny could change something if they won HOH but since they lost, it seems that unless Production does something like a Pandora’s Box, DPV or ‘Cootie Taw’ (as others have mentioned) it’s unlikely that there will be any kind of compelling shift in this game which is really unfortunate as I would have loved to see an “under dog” win this season (meaning Donny first, but I could have lived with Nicole or Hayden or maybe even Zach as well) to really get me invested in watching this show next season. I’m tired of seeing a boring, so-called dominante alliance just trot through and get everyone to do their bidding, especially this season as the group seems pretty ignorant and can’t grasp that they are only helping someone else’s game and not playing for their own best interests.
  8. This made me think about how they could perhaps help ensure that the HGs actually got out of bed and were given incentives to be more active and participate so we weren’t just watching a bunch of disgusting slugs laze around, trash talk and sleep the whole time. Maybe if BB only gave them slop and some other food basics to start with and then made them complete various tasks to earn other food items things might be more interesting to watch and it may even change the dynamic in the house a bit, especially if they all had to work together to ‘earn’ something. If they told the HGs that they could get a steak dinner if they all participated in cleaning the bathroom or that they could have tuna steaks (something apparently critical for Frankie’s survival) added as regular food item if a certain number of them all did 20 laps around the back yard, etc. it might make for more compelling viewing at least and may possibly influence to some (small) extent who teams up with who and for what reason.
  9. There was a kid's talent competition show back in 2003. It was called America's Most Talented Kids. It ran for a couple of seasons and then got cancelled due to low ratings. Apparently America really didn't want to see an all kids competition so I can't understand how kid's acts that are mediocre at best keep advancing on this show. I keep hoping they will set an age limit. Yeah, I understand this as well but I am actually wishing Piers Morgan would come back and judge because he was probably the most honest about the performance of a lot of the acts and wasn't afraid to give criticism. I thought Howard Stern would be even more critical of the talent than Piers was, but his radio show persona has completely disappeared. I wouldn't want him to be as dickish as he was on his radio show, but I expected him to be more honest/critical than he has been. I was also shocked that Nina went home and wasn't picked as a wild card. I thought her performance was beautiful. Glad that "Dom the Bomb" and the triplets didn't get through - I have no idea what the judges were thinking when they put them straight through to the live rounds. Their act was a hot mess and didn't seem like a true, well-put together performance at all. It just looked like a bunch of kids playing around in their living room. I'm not surprised that Quintavius went through. Out of all the kid singers he has the best voice and the most ability. It's too bad it looks like he and Mara Justine are going to be in different semi-final groups as I would love to see how the voters, the audience and the judges would compare the two and see how much better Quintavius is.
  10. From Joker's: If the house hasn't actually been cleaned since Amber was there that place has to be a toxic, uninhabitable, environment and a complete health hazard. I'm surprised none of them have gotten sick. These people are disgusting slobs and I can't even fathom how anyone could live like that, though some of them really do deserve to live in a garbage dump.
  11. From Joker's: Wow - really? Donny has worked his ass off to win comps even when people he was teamed up with tried to throw them. If Production were to ever decide to rig a comp for Donny it had better be this next HoH. He needs to win and give these asshats a good kick in the pants. Given how pissed Derrick was when Donny had the nerve to win BoB so he couldn't be eliminated this week, watching how much he and the others would freak out if Donny won HoH would be priceless. Derrick's master plan would really start to go to shit. ETA: If Donny can't win HoH, they need to have a Cootie Taw or Pandora's Box. It might actually get people interesting in paying attention to this season again.
  12. From Joker's: I'm pretty sure we studied osmosis somewhere around elementary/middle school - it's not just a word used by doctors that only doctors are supposed to know. These people are so stupid it's unreal. How do any of them function in the real world? And Frankie? Donnie doesn't need to wear a Harvard Medical School shirt to make fools out of all of you - you guys are doing that so nicely all on your own.
  13. From Joker's: Really Derrick? I can't believe he said this with a straight face and the others seem to firmly believe this as well. They way they are treating Donny at this point reminds me of how the HGs from last season treated Elyssa. At least they're not threatening to do all of the disgusting stuff to Donny that the group last year did with Elyssa, but it's still pretty bad. I hope that Donny is thrilled when this is over and he sees how popular and well liked he is out in the real world - you know, where it actually matters. He's a good person and most of America knows it and it will be awesome to see how this registers with the other HGs.
  14. In addition to the HGs he’s had to deal with this season, Production basically set him up to ensure he’d be marginalized. He is older than the others, so that would make him an outsider to some extent anyway, but Production also told him he had to keep the beard. My understanding is that Donny grew it out basically for the audition and planned on shaving it off before he ever entered the house but the show wouldn’t let him (I think at one point he mentioned while in the house that he wants to shave it and hopefully he could do it mid-season). Many viewers didn’t even care for Donny at first sight, so it's no surprise that the HGs had the same initial reaction. By the time some of the HGs got past the beard he had already kind of missed out on getting into an early alliance (at least one that could actually accomplish anything). I absolutely hate that Christine (and nearly everyone else in this house) is so incredibly stupid and so desperate to be part of the "in crowd" that she's sacrificing her own chance at winning anything. Christine going to Cody and waking him up to snitch on Donny is just too much. I hope she feels like a complete asshole when this season is over - her gameplay sucked, she behaved like a complete moron, she spread lies about the HG most liked by America, and she may have put her marriage in some danger and in the process is making her husband look like an idiot to the viewers. Let's not forget that Starbuck's likely won't be too pleased if they find out that she's been giving away coffee in exchange for tattoos.
  15. Maybe they could turn one of the challenges into a version of "Three Truths and a Lie." They (meaning Production) could give three true statements and one false one about each HG and they'd have to guess which one was false. Or maybe they could reverse that for this group and they'd have to pick the true one. Depending on what facts and lies they used it could get interesting. They need to do something to liven things up in there.
  16. If I remember correctly, any member of TA can tell others about their own involvement but they cannot out any of the other members. If they do so, they forfeit any winnings. These guys are going to make a huge deal out of their stuff being gone yet some of them, Caleb in particular, have taken things from other HGs - Amber's bunny slippers, her make up brushes, Donny's overalls, etc. I'm starting to think that Caleb came into the house with nothing of his own.
  17. I'm on the West Coast so I haven't seen the results show yet but I read who went through on one of the sites. I was so worried that the judges were going to put that precocious, piano playing, arrogant brat through especially as they picked Mara Justine and Baila Conmigo, who blatantly flaunts the kids, to go through. The judges always seem to lean towards the children regardless of how untalented they are or how many mistakes they make in their performances. Adrian was awful last night and I read where they are trying to blame his bad notes on his glasses falling off and hitting the keyboard. Um, that happened in the first couple seconds - how do you explain the rest of the performance?? His playing is subpar and I thought that this was his worst one yet. It wasn't even a very difficult piece. I don't know if they're doing the Wild Card thing again this year but some seem to be speculating that if they are he will likely be brought back by the kid-loving judges. Glad to hear that Sons of Serendip went through as they were the best of the night. Also glad that Acro Army made it though their performance last night was a little "meh." Same with Blue Journey. So what do you think the chances are that the judges put the One Voice Kiddie Choir through next week?
  18. I agree that a lot of his talk about giving to charity feels like another one of Frankie's characters and therefore has an insincere air about it. I remember reading somewhere (it may have been earlier in this thread though I can't remember for sure) that he did manage to get at least one school in Africa built (which he named after himself) not too long ago, however. Despite the fact that he may have been able to do this once, Frankie is kind of doing himself a disservice by appearing on BB as people are going to have a hard time taking him seriously when it comes to his charitable endeavors given the constant superficial, self-centered, trivial garbage that comes out of his mouth all day every day. Not to mention the fact that he pretty much never has a nice word to say about anyone else (other than his family) and is always quick to point out everyone's flaws and actually enjoys doing so. He also would much rather talk about Frankie and how talented he is and how many followers he has than discuss his charitable aspirations. When he does discuss them, it's always framed as "see how great I AM? I'M doing things to help others!" Therefore I think it's much easier to believe that "Benevolent Frankie" is just another persona that he's created because he has some sense that its something he should do to make himself appear to be a good person but that he's having a hard time really getting into it. Ugh - Is the Veto over yet??? Please let Donny continue to be a Veto beast and pull this one off!
  19. From Joker's: It seems like Donny has pretty much resigned himself to being evicted this week. This is just really disheartening. I also read that he was telling Zach that he probably won't even watch the season when he gets out. I really really hope he wins America's favorite. He deserves it and they should give him a special bonus for having to put up with these delusional, famewhoring, asshats for this long. I know that he is a SuperFan and this was a dream of his and he quit his job to be here. It's unfortunate that he got stuck with this particular group. Hopefully once this is over and he sees how well he was received by America and that he was the only one that really didn't get too many negative comments he'll feel better and be able to move on with his family and his girlfriend and just enjoy life after this miserable experience.
  20. I'm absolutely shocked that they didn't hold off on Vidcon 2014 until he was out of the house. I mean, how could they have it without such a major media mogul like Frankie present??
  21. From Joker's: Can Frankie's 15 seconds of fame in the BB House end already? I can't even watch the feeds since I feel like they're all stuck on "The Frankie Grande Saga: I’m a Delusional, Narcissistic, Famewhoring, Talentless Piece of Shit Who Will Win BB16." I am so sick of hearing how great and fabulous and talented he is and how he should be in movies and is so popular at the convention that all the D-List YouTubers attend. I really hope that once this is over he gets a major reality check. I hope it hits him harder than it did Andy and he comes off just as douchy or worse than Andy did by attacking everyone that didn't like him or his "game." Of course Frankie is so delusional that he won't believe any of the negative reactions and just think everyone is a bunch of "haters" and then continue on with his head up his ass. The biggest blow to him would be for him not to win America's Favorite, as others have mentioned, so I really hope that that at least happens. Derrick needs to quit focusing on getting Donny out and start making plans to give Frankie the boot. He was even talking to Frankie about how they didn't need to worry about TA if they wanted to get Donny out now because Frankie has so many followers already that he won't be unpopular with America for voting out a TA member.
  22. Yeah, this creeps me out too especially when I keep remembering that he mentioned to someone in the house how he had so much in common with 12 year old girls and could talk to a 12 year old girl for hours. He's trying way too hard to behave like a tween and since he is looking way past his actual 31 years it's disturbing to actually see him make these comments. Take away the glitter and the pink skunk stripe in his hair and he just looks like someone trying way to hard to live vicariously through his sister and could come across to some as a perverted old man whose only real talent is capitalizing on his sister's success.
  23. Mara's family really needs to read the fine print on the prize payout if they expect her to be their hero. Forbes did an article a couple of seasons ago on the fact that the winner isn't an instant millionaire. Here is a clip from that: So best case for Mara Justine is that she ends up with somewhere around $150k after taxes(it's probably a little more than this but I always estimate the taxes on the high side high as they do take a bigger chunk if it's prize money and I'm also not sure what her state and local taxes are) if she takes the lump sum. It's not complete peanuts but it's not going to go far in today's world and they'd be wise to put it towards college for her because she isn't going to have a voice left in a couple of years if she keeps screaming like she does. It's probably completely irrelevant anyway as I agree that she does not have a prayer of winning this thing (at least I really hope that the judges/producers can't manipulate things any more than they already have) and I also don't think she will have any other offers pouring in after this season is over. Many non-winners have actually ended up getting better offers and have appreciated being able to accept some of those as they weren't locked into anything with NBC. I think the only thing Mara may get is a spot on the tour that some of the acts go on though I'm not sure how far you have to make it to get a spot there. ETA: I was just thinking about the 100+ person kids choir that they put through and that'll we see in one of the next shows. If they took the lump sum they'd only end up with somewhere around $1500 to $2000 each. Bet they wish they only picked 20 of them to go on the show.
  24. Why do the judges get to pick the final act to go through? They have chosen to put through kids both weeks (and untalented kids at that). I know, there are adults on the ridiculously large, sloppy, error filled, repetitive salsa dance team, along with the often inappropriately costumed children, but Howard has admitted in two of the previous rounds that they only reason that he has voted to put them through was because of the kids. He keeps telling them how "smart" they are to have the kids be the center of attention in their show. The fact that they were picked over the jump ropers is unbelievable. So tonight they put through the screaming 12 year old singer, Mara Justine, whose costume was just unfortunate. The girl is a bit awkward looking already - don't make it worse by putting her in an unflattering silver lamee dress complete with matching high tops. PepperMonkey I know what you mean about something about Mara Justine bugging you. I have the same problem. The best I can describe it as is that she seems to come across as fake or insincere. She seems to think pretty highly of herself and I don't buy the overly rehearsed, cheesy "oh, thank you so much" line that she keeps repeating after every even remotely kind thing that is said to her. The opera singers were not good either last night but I would have preferred them over Mara Justine. At least they had a good performance that got them put straight through to the live shows so they have more ability than the little screamer. I know, I'm terrible for picking on the kids but they need to set a minimum age for this show as we're getting way too many kids sliding past round after round who really don't have a lot of talent or at least aren't nearly as talented as a lot of other acts that end up getting cut. I'm sick of the so-called "cuteness factor" just letting these kids slide right on through when I know that there is no way most of us would pay to see the majority of these acts. And to think - we still have the One World Children's Choir to look forward to. I have a feeling this will be another judge's pick situation and we'll end up stuck with them in the semifinals.
