  1. It upsets me too that the Duggar girls can travel/go whenever because they don't have a job or school or other commitments like the rest of us heathens. Remember when Jessa needed help with her jurisdictions because her head was in the clouds with Ben when first courting? & they make "wedding planning" a full time job. OMG. Somehow the rest of us held down jobs & school while planning our weddings. I'm sure our weddings & receptions were nicer than the Duggar cheap "sweets/pickle fest".
  2. On the previews John David says "Ben & Derick have something to prove..." while they were doing the outdoor man "fellowship". JD is such an immature jerk who thinks because he is the older brother, he knows what's good for his sisters even tho he has never been in a relationship. It's hard to believe him and Derick are the same age. Remember how he gloated about being the head wedding car decorator. Yeah that's something you can put on your resume John David, if you even know what that is. Yuk-Yuk
  3. Yes, yes totally agree. While watching the episode today where MEchelle & Jessa visit the Seewalds, MEchelle had on the lime green, little puffy sleeve shirt, the long denimn skirt with the dark hose & frumpy shoes. I was thinking why she couldn't have worn something a little nicer/fancier than her usual day to day attiire. Not so much to impress the Seewalds since she had met them before, but to come across as "I took the time to look nicer today to show I care about your family." (Hope that makes sense). Gwynn, Ben's mom, had a more fashionable blouse & necklace on.
  4. I don't remember where I read this but in the articie/blog it was discussing the Fundie women's dress code of not wearing pants. Someone said by wearing a skirt/dress, there was easier access for them to have a "quickie" than by wearing pants. Those heathens!
  5. Those kids are cute but they better start the discipline now. I think Milania (Teresa 's daughter from RHoNJ) has some competition in KJ. What is it with "reality stars" thinking they're exempt from wearing seatbelts? Just like Teresa from RHoNJ, the Biermans (esp Kim) are all about their family but put their lives in danger by not wearing seatbelts. (In Teresa's case, her daughters weren't wearing them too) Either Kim & Kroy's arrival home was re-enacted or Kim wasn't follong post-surgical instructions. She was wearing a low cut shirt showing boobs. When my friend had her boobs done, she had to wear the post-surgical/compression bra for a while to make sure things healed correctly & to not undo what the surgeon did. This was about 6 years ago & things could have changed. But since she came home a few days after surgery, I think she should have had it on. You could see gauze pads sticking down her shirt/? regular bra. You could also see cleavage which you wouldn't have been able to if she had on the surgery bra. I, too, was wondering where Lana was. I did think it was funny when one of the girls put KJ in the high chair/booster seat she said something like "your're trapped or gotcha." Then he scooted himself towards counter with an "Oh yeah" look on his face.
  6. I just visited the Duggar Family Blog site. There's a new Jilly chalkboard picture (13 weeks, 1 day) in case anyone is interested - NOT! They did a recap of this week's episodes & people can comment on them. Usually the comments are Pro-Duggar praising the wonderful Christian family. But this week there were some negative comments: Ben's having to clean toilets, Anna's baby voice, Jessa's concern about her appearance, etc. I was really surprised. Looks like some of their loyal followers are finally seeing thru their facade.
  7. My thoughts exactly. Regarding the Kelley anger issues - wasn't there something he said on the first episode when they were introducing themselves that he couldn't go home after leaving the service (possibly because of an anger problem/incident?) That's why he joined Amy in the yachting industry. There just seems to something off with him. Maybe something happened in the service or something happened at home making him join the service? I know Amy & him talked about how their parent's divorce affected them.
  8. I agree about Jessa's disinterest in Ben, at least in the beginning. She didn't seem too thrilled when he asked her to court (at least not as excited as Jill & the Bates girls were). Then again it might have to do with being asked in the Duggar home office with Boob & Michelle hovering.
  9. Just precious!! aaaaaaand it purposed my day too.
  10. Love it!! Count me in with the others who are over the chalk board updates. On the recent one (probably updated since then because I think it was done last week) she was definitely standing with her back arched making her stomach stick out. I didn't say "bump" because I don't see one either. Another thing that irks me is she always has her hand on her stomach in the People photos.
  11. This was mentioned on another blog. Boob asked Jessa how it was going with Ben. That blogger said same thing that Ben got the slave treatment because of her defiant answer. Remember when they were traveling on the stink bus to Erin Bates' wedding? Boob asked Jessa something (don't remember what it was but it was something about Ben & love). Jessa gave him a snarky reply by throwing question back in his face which Boob didn't like. So I agree, he's probably tired of her defiant attitude & this is his payback.
  12. That has all the makings for a VSE. Please follow me to the prayer closet...
  13. I think Boob also looks pasty. At first I thought it was cuz he was sitting next to the girls or MEchelle that are doing the tan/orange thing but he looks pale. Maybe since he has the Ben slave now, he doesn't get out much. Regarding the weight, super stud John David is looking kind of paunchy too. Maybe Joseph could show him around their exercise room/gym. I wonder if that's in same building as Ben's cell. Add me to the list about MEchelle's creepiness. Now that she is in her new season of life, she can purpose about the number of grandchildren she'll have.
  14. I think this was mentioned a while back that Joy's birthday is 10/22/97 making her almost 17 & 2.5 years younger than Ben & that Ben should have waited to court her. (Hey Michelle got married at 17-ha ha) I don't think they would be a match either as I could see Joy putting Ben in his place shown by when she was spouting orders while driving him around compound. You go Joy. Hopefully she will be one of the ones to break away to live normally. It was mentioned somewhere that poster thought Joy wasn't being allowed to see Amy as much because of Amy's normal life influence. Oh I hope not!
  15. I agree. Remember in episode where kids were getting living room ready for the Anniversary dinner theater, when they moved the furniture, there were dustballs & various items. One of the girls said it had been a while since they had done a thorough cleaning. Maybe cleaning under furniture could be added to Ben's "To Do" list.
  16. I too noticed Jill mentioned about wearing gloves when selecting wedding band & hoping this meant she was continuing midwife studies. But since she is now "expecting" I think any further studies have gone down the drain. Not that she couldn't continue as many people juggle school, work &family, I don't think she will. Its a shame cuz I really thought she found her calling. I was hoping Derrick & his family would show her what a normal (not Gothard) life is. But by what we have seen, it looks like Derrick has taken a big gulp of the Kool-Aid & taken a seat on the Duggar fame train.
  17. John David reminds me of Cliff Clavin from Cheers. I wish Ben & Jessa would "christen" his room & then he could run for the hills, far away from the Duggars & their crap.
  18. I had to laugh when the trainer found the expired can in their pantry. He would have a field day in my cabinets. Its a running joke between my husband & me when I clean out the cabinets what's the oldest box/can I find. In my defense, my pantry cabinets are deep & things get pushed to the back. As someone said last week, what's the deal with painting the derby cars in the house? When Boob & Michelle constantly talk about the courting rules, saving kiss till wedding, etc, they say it is to "keep pure" & "saving your heart". I'd like to ask them why is it so important? Do you need to be pure to get in heaven? Are God & St Peter standing at the pearly gates letting the Duggars & other Gothardites in but not letting us heathens in cuz our first kiss was when we were 12 & didn't wait til our wedding. I can think of one (if not more) Gothardites who shouldn't be let in to Heaven.....and yes, I am a Christian.
  19. What was with all the Duggar trivia pop-ups? Seemed like there was more than usual. I don't care to know "if you stacked all donuts Duggars ate ......" Enough already.
  20. Totally. Why didn't they take tools when they went to fix the fence (JD fault) or at least say "lets go see what we need first". And Boob's call happening when they were in the donut drive thru (we're on to you producers) Thought the pottery painting was precious & sweet. Did anyone notice Michelle telling Josie that Jill could use the platter for veggies. I hope Jill does use it for veggies. If Michelle had it, dust would be growing on it. It was all about Michelle at the jewelers. I think ring shopping is a personal & special (sorry) time for the couple. Michelle should have stayed in car. But that wasn't happening - J & D might have gotten it on in the store.
  21. Like others have said, these girls go from having no male contact (not even friends) to side hugs, to hand holding. Then on their wedding day they have their first kiss followed by "doing the deed" hours later. All of this in about a 3 month timeline. Wow! I would love to here Michelle's sex talk with the girls.
  22. Regarding both the wedding & baby registries-whatever happened to the Duggars "J O Y" way of thinking? (J)esus first, (O)thers second, (Y)ourself last. (Hope I got that right)
  23. Poor Grandma Duggar, no one in that family gives her the respect she deserves. I remember in the older episodes MEchelle had one of the kids clean the lids of the cans before they opened them. Why bother when later that kid will be walking across the counter. Just gross. As said before, none of us would eat anything in that house. I was going to say the Duggars must have good immune systems but then remembered the kids hurling in the styrofoam cups. Brain bleach please! (& regular bleach for the Duggars counters)
  24. I totally agree. Why do fans send gifts to any star/athelete who make millions of dollars? Do these fans think that when Jill is putting A&D Ointment (yes it was on the registry) on the baby that "fan" Kathy sent us this & wasn't it "totally sweet"?
  25. I'm watching Raechel Ray show & she has Dr Phil McGraw on & he's taking audience questions. Someone asked him if he watches himself on TV. He was like "No Way!!" Raechel piped in that she doesn't either. She said if she did, she would pick herself apart. The first thing that came to mind was Heather saying that Miss Terry loves to watch himself on TV, mainly Botched. I can just picture him in his entertainment room with a big bowl of popcorn watching Botched with that dopey grin on his face.
