  1. What was with Teresa constantly asking the girls if they love her or how much they love her? OMG she was like a broken record. I wonder how much Gia hears about her parent's "legal issues" while at school. (Not to mention Juicy's priors-DWI's/fake licenses) Kids can be mean. I'm sure she tries to ignore them but all this WILL take a toll on her. Too bad she's the smartest one in the family. What IDIOT parents! !
  2. I caught some of the marriage retreat this morning. I cant imagine how J'chelle & the girls swim in their Modest Swimwear. Doesn't the skirt part flow up while swimming? I know there is some type of shorts/leggings underneath but how comfortable is that? I "totally" cant get over Boob & his snorkeling/scuba attire. All those clothes had to be heavy & not safe. But when has safety concerned the Duggars? I'm sure it was hard for the snorkeling instructors to keep a straight face with these two.
  3. I would like to know why on episodes where Anna cooks a dinner, she has to wait till last minute to go to store with kiddos in tow to buy dinner items. Wouldn't it make more sense to go to store in evening by herself (leaving Snugger to watch kiddos)? I know that doesn't make for exciting TV & most of episodes are producer driven. Then she makes comment she doesn't know how or has never cooked a turkey before & had to call her mom for help. Really Anna? She acted like it was a total mystery to her. I thought since she came from a larger sized family she helped with cooking but she may have been a Jessa with no skills. But roasting a turkey isn't rocket science. I guess shes never roasted a chicken either. Very easy, tastes better & is healthier than the frozen chicken items shes used to. Then the family gushes over how great the meal was (remember the gray green bean casserolle?) But since they're used to processed convenience food, it was a feast to them.
  4. I wonder what Cathy (Derrick's mom) & his family think of all of this?
  5. I, too, am appalled at the Baby registry. As another poster stated, don't they already get a Walmart discount to buy things ON THEIR OWN! We were lucky enough to have family & close friends buy the larger items when my son was born but I remembered having so much fun buying the things I still needed. Why does the registry need to be done so early? I was reading on another Duggar blog that they didn't think Anna had a baby registry. There was episode where she &Michelle & older girls went to a baby flea market/tag sale to get baby things cheaply. I remember episode & was amazed at money they saved. (Some things I would only buy new cuz of safety but she got a lot of nice things) Remember all the hoopla over the fancy stroller Anna & Smuggs got when they moved to DC? Think it was a two seater with a place for Kinzie to stand. Boy times have changed in that family. I think Bin better get his hammer & nails ready to build J&D a storage shed!
  6. Superguard9-toofunny. What was I thinking getting anything from Kate. I think Kate said it was something Jon's grandmother/mother told her when they were planning to marry or have kids to scare Kate away. Too bad it didn't scare her away, far away.
  7. If Jana& Frank Sun married & had kids, wouldn't the children have Asian features? I thought Kate Gosselin explained this that Asians carry the dominant genes. How would Jim Boob & Michelle deal with that?
  8. Don't know if this was mentioned before - Derrick, Jill & James used REAL silverware on the picnic. But then again, Derrick packed the lunch.
  9. When Anna was making stepping stones with the kiddos, she makes a comment that since they home-school, they can do hands on projects/crafts. She comes across that only home-schooled children have time to do them. Well Anna, that's not so. Not home-schooled kids make crafts at home, school, church, scouts etc. Her & Smuggar come across that they are the first parents to have their kiddos eat healthy (ha ha), go to a library (have they been in one in DC?), buy kids clothing at thrift stores, etc. Too bad Mackynzie can't go to a Christian/church preschool a few mornings a week. She seems like a smart little girl who would enjoy playing with others or (gasp) make a new friend. But who am I kidding, it will never happen. Just hope she wont follow in the footsteps of her older aunts & become an M'slave.
  10. Hello Everyone! New poster here (but long time follower- the Duggars are like a train wreck- I can't turn away) I was watching Dishing w/Duggars episode where viewers ask them questions. At the beginning there was a woman's voice over explaining things & I didn't recognize it at first. Then I realized it was Michelle's normal voice. I thought it was one of the producers. Of course when she started answering questions, she was back to her baby squeaky voice. Has anyone else noticed her baby voice is getting more high pitched on the new episodes & Dishing w/Duggars commentary? It's like she can barely get the words out. And her hair, it seems to be growing wilder on each episode. Why cant she wear it like it is at the beginning of the shows on the introductions-where it is shorter, straighter with a little curl at the ends? Duggar ladies-please tie your hair back when cooking. It drives me nuts.
