Yeah, Chuck sucks at parenting even worse than John and Mary. I even think that OGMichael would join AU!Michael in the hunt.

Loved it! It was like watching an ep from the old days. JA was great and I loved the surprise visit from Pam.

Not only that: What kind of a god of justice is this, if he goes after the people who feel responsible and remorseful over what they may have done (or, as in Dean's case, Everything Since The Beginning Of The World) but does not go after those who don't feel remorseful? One of the most idiotic premises, IMO, in a show full of them.

Heck, even before Bobby, when (from her perspective) John had only been lost to her a few months, she was shacking up with the Enemy Who Is Now a Friend. Guess for her, out of sight is out of mind. And heart. And life. And...

So..."What Is...?" Redux?

Just to show you how observant I am, it took several viewings before I saw the wolf! Lady, maybe? The first time Jon walked past Lyanna I didn’t realize that it was a feather coming off of her hand; it almost seemed as if she were reaching out to him. And even though I now know that it’s a feather, I still get that feeling when I see it. I just noticed that after Jon walks past the statue of Lyanna and then turns his head back as if he’s hearing something, there’s a green glow along the side of his face. Wildfire??

Whoot! Teaser! I really loved the feel and look of it. As one poster already noted, all of the “dialogue” is about Jon. It was interesting to me that the dialogue that Sansa (or, as my iPhone initially changed it to, Santa 😄) triggered was Catelyn’s line how she wondered if all the trouble that came to her family was because she could not love a motherless boy (despite her promise): Foreshadowing for some Jon-Sansa conflict?

I thought there was a reason why she told her father to do it: earlier, in her confrontation with her father, she said he had always treated her as someone who was “challenged,” that he had never said “You can do it.” He’d never shown any confidence in her, had never encouraged her And that’s what she gave him in that scene. In fact, that’s exactly what she said. “You can do this,” giving him what he had never given her and making him see what encouragement could do.

And nothing says that Dean is, either. I’ll be pleased if the article was incomplete, but usually if the promotional material gives us no info on Dean, it’s because there really isn’t anything to talk about, not because it’s too secret to mention.

Casseiopeia, assuming that this isn’t a continuity error (and that’s a huge assumption with this show), I’m gonna go with Michael assuming that Cas would try something along those lines and basically shielding himself against Castiel . He’s clearly stronger than Cas and I wouldn’t have any problem with his being able to hide. With the Djinn, Michael might want him to be aware that a tie was still there. OTOH, never bet against stupid writing on this show. 🥴 Aeryn, I also want to know who says “Don’t go in alone.”

I think there’s probably a difference Between archangels and ordinary angels. Sam was not able to kick Lucifer out (don’t get me started on that whole taking control forever business because I didn’t buy it then and I’m not buying it now). And with Gadreel—and I could be remembering it incorrectly—didn’t Sam have to shove/toss Gadreel out? I don’t think just saying “I revoke permission” was enough. Michael was never thrown out; he left. Now, maybe he did that to avoid being thrown out, or it may be that you can’t do that to an archangel. The thing is, he never left completely – – that’s what this episode told us (and which many of us already suspected) – – and since his ties to Dean were never actually severed, he could simply slip back in.

Catrox, Misha may just be having fun but since the fallout always lands on Jensen and not on him, I really wish he would stop.

That line about Sam not being able to confront Michael when Michael is wearing his perfect vessel because Michael would decimate him makes absolutely no sense. Michael should be able to decimate Sam even if he’s wearing a lesser vessel. Unless, of course, Sam is being worn by another power. Lucifer? (Which would seriously make me wonder about the state of Sam’s brains.) OG Michael? (Which would piss me off no end.)

Oh, you cockeyed optimist, you. 🤪 I have little doubt that he will have his little nougat fingers into everything. And Cas...Really? Because keeping secrets has always worked out so well up to now.

I don’t know if this is the original promo for tonight’s ep or not but if not, you’ll find this one at @cw_spn at or near the top. The “awesome” from Dean put me in mind of the Elliot Ness ep: “Is he some kind of religious nut?”

I know. Can’t you just feel the excitement quotient ramping up? Who the heck does the CW hired to do there publicity? Advertising school dropouts? (I used the microphone function and it got “publicity” right at first before changing it to “Publis city.” What??) There was a user on Reddit (where I first found the photos when I googled for them) who was ecstatic by the photos because at last we’re getting back to the Sam and Jack relationship. Boy, there really isn’t a lot going on this season is there, if this is the high point.

I’ll go further back: they cancel “Dominion” because (among other things) it was too complicated (really?) and give us this?

ILoveReading, I’m not sure if this will work: Cast and crew photos Apparently, neither Misha nor Alex are in the photos and there’s some complaints about that, which I can understand as it’s supposed to be the season 14 cast and crew.

In regard to the fuzzy moment, I posted a link in the Spoilers thread to a TVLine article where Dabb and JA reference it. (I’d post it again here but I’m not sure how I did it the first time! 🙄) I did like the Dean/Jack scenes (though I admit I’m still not rah rah about Jack). Ah, Nickifer. It’s amazing! That house looks exactly like my house – – if my house were five times the size and stunningly decorated. Otherwise we’re twins. 😂 Joking aside, it’s really gorgeous. The article has about 12More photographs. One of my favorite spaces is the two-story screened-in outside porch, which also contains a dining table.

SueB, Here’s my problem with that: Whatever Cas’ guilt and/or remorse over the current condition of Heaven might be, if he lets Lucifer out again, then there really isn’t any hope for the character and he’s way more of a liability than an asset, and it’s time for him to go away. Permanently.

Not to mention BabySpinach that when Dean broke the first seal he had no idea that the seals even existed. Sam chose to make a demon who had spent the entire previous year lying to him--and he knew that--his only advisor, over his brother, two angels (dicks or not), a psychic who gave her life for the brothers and a prophet of God (at least, that's what they thought he was at the time), all of whom warned him about what he was doing and his motivations in doing it. Ruby was saying what he wanted to hear.

I almost totally agree with your post. Ahead of "Pean" or "Dondlass," I would give you--*drum roll*--Lean: Lemuria/Dean. I promise to leave something for you. :)
